Oh my goodness Taffy Glad all is ok now and lo is on the mend. Made me get a lump in my throat reading that. Luckily my lo cant get into our kitchen in his walker its got rubbery bits in the bottom so if it goes over any tiny bump or dip it just stops.
domdoms what are they?
Thanks. Still waiting for samsam to get her arse in gear so to speak and join me in the sickness and tiredness that is pg.

wuzzlefraggle · 18/05/2007 22:00

OMG taffy! im so sorry to hear what happened to your lo...glad all is getting better and that he is out of hospital now though. it must have been terrifying for you

good to see you on here again too

samsmam · 19/05/2007 08:15

OMG Taffy- so glad LO is on the mend. My mum had an accident like that when my brother was crawling in the kitchen, she triped over him with a boiling kettle.
The main thing is you are home and safe. Can't imagine the upset you have been through.

Guess what Gingeme.......................................still try!!!

samsmam · 19/05/2007 08:16

trying even!

EmilyandLola · 19/05/2007 10:39

morning all, Taffy poor you and LO glad getting better though.

Had odd dreams all last night, went to bed at 10, DP fell asleep within minutes, at 3 am i was still pacing around kitchen drinking warm milk etc to try make sleepy, so fed up with not being able to nod off, i just lay there and worry...

any way, when did fall asleep, on floor in living room, head on bean bag (not comfy) i dreamt i had been stabbed - fucking hell, any way, woke up with horrific period cramps - so thats the TTC fucked again. Sorry - Im just in a fowl mood. Grump

gingeme · 19/05/2007 10:52

You grump away Emily you grump away love.
I had a weird dream I had a great bit shard of glass in my left shoulder just below my ear and had to pull it out by myself but it kept getting stuck and I couldnt stem the bleeding It was bloody scary I can tell you.

majormoo · 19/05/2007 11:44

Taffy how awful. Really glad he is getting better.

Those dreams sound awful. You never know Emily, doesn't mean it's not your month til the fat lady sings!

Have a bit of peace and quiet while DH takes the kids to the garden centre-lovely. Not for long as cup final today for my Chelsea supporting husband so better make the most of it while I can.

Rumpel · 19/05/2007 21:17

Hi All,

Los are GORGEOUS!!! Kai looks dead like his Daddy. Emily - I have never been on my space and cannot work out how to view your pics - sorry for being a dunce!

Heres mine:

www.onetruemedia.com/otm_site/auth_preview?work_id=2889442&autoplay

Taffy - at the time you have been having. Scary stuff - poor you and Lo. Hope you are all on the mend now. Hugs.

Gingeme - I am dreading the sickness thing - I am sooo sick when pg. Not even going to contemploate it until we move and settle in. Need to lose more weight yet too.

Samsmam and Emily - good luck with TTC - it will happen when its meant too - dont put too much pressure on yourselves - just remember you carried the LOs you have inside for longer than they have been on terra firma yet! Takes time for your bod and mind to recover - Gingeme is obviously a pro! We should call her Easter from now on - she seems to have plenty eggs

DH is back tomorrow - hes been gone 10 days so am looking forward to seeing him. he has bought Amber some lovely Chinese dresses and pjs - cant wait to see them.

Major - hi.

Good to hear from everyone again.

Youngmum - pussies rehomed yet?

Hey Rumple bloody cheek! Just be lucky you live all the way 'up there'
Your link didnt work by the way
my sickness isnt too bad just that Im wee wee weeing all the bloody time.
Lo is sitting up proper now. Though hes not very happy doing it for long as it means he cant get around. Suits me fine though.

Swizzler · 20/05/2007 09:38

Taffy: so sorry to hear about your LO. I'm sure we can all rmember some very near misses - there's so mjuch to think of with a baby that mistakes do happen . Glad things are improving. Burns can be horrendous.

I'd also recommend that all of you either go on a first aid course or have a look at the info on the BBC website on child first aid. Just in case anyone has forgotton: for burns and scalds, lots of cold water, go to hospital immediately for severe burns and cover with something sterile (cling film is good). Emergencies happen quickly and with no warning (duh!) so good plan to find out what to do now

Gingeme: how's the morning sickness? I hated the first few months of pg - feeling crap and tired all the time.

Jetjets: is your DS a Robert or a Bob? Was v temptred by Robert for DS - may have to save it for the next one (and Bob would be the shortened version)
