Thanks BROWNIE!! Yes, you're welcome to a copy (and you too TWINKLE!!)I should get 4-5, so no problem. It's just awaiting the index now, that the editors do, so should be in print by end of summer should think (if you c an wait that long ).
Oh and TWINKLE I thought of you today when out in the new shopping centre in Warrington - we have a Lush (though no yet open) and...wait for it...your fave - Pumpkin patch!!!! Yahhhh!!!!
Well feeling stuffed with yummy rissoto and choccy pud from meal out with dh, so full it hurts!! Ded. back to SW next week!!
Hope everyone is enjoying the BH - it's freezing here!!

Mmm, lovely cake TWINKLE . Still waiting for af here, but only a day late, no signs, and pretty confident all will be well . Loads of exam script marking to do here today, so dh taking girls over to MIL [great!!!]....must make sure I get some done!
Love to all

twinkle1 · 28/05/2007 10:55

A day late hmmmmm how long till u test?????
twinkle

Diege · 28/05/2007 11:02

Well, at least another week as af has been up to 8 days 'late' recently. Really hope it's not this month...what on earth would I say at the interview?? Have had v.bad cramps on and off though, so hopefully it will appear any day!

ChaCha · 28/05/2007 13:17

Hi girls,

Hope you had a lovely day Diege. Book sounds great - well done How you managed that along with raising a family and everything else I do not know...I think you can rightfully take the title of supermum! LOL at SW next week, I had a bad weekend TBH, a take-out on Saturday and too many dips with yesterday's movie Am convinced there is something wrong with our scales though, they neither move up or down no matter what i do

Londoner, Beks and BoB - no longer posting? I do miss all your posts. Hope you'll be back

S'pose i better make the most of their nap time and fingers crossed for all TTC x

Diege · 29/05/2007 17:31

Like the sound of those scales CHACHA . Thanks for the compliment , although most of the time I feel nothing remotely like 'super' - more that I have lots of balls in the air, and don't really do any one of them properly iyswim!
Nice day today with dd1 who is on half term - had forgotten how expensive 'day to day' stuff can be with a child - a drink and biscuit here, a 'treat' there...am seriously trying to cut down on unnecessary spends but it is sooo hard!!
Agree CHACHA, where IS everyone???

GreedyGecko · 30/05/2007 10:22

Girls Aloud were FAB last night. Throat hurting now though Been a bit of a nightmare week here, will update later.

Diege · 30/05/2007 10:32

Hi GG! Glad you had a good time at concert . Despite all the 'drama' that seems to surround them, I think they sound great . Looking forward to your update - hope things are OK?
Well, af is here . Sooo relieved, as went to bed last night with that horribly dready 'what have I done' feeling - feel so releaved that I can go into the interview without a bfp hanging over me (plus I would have been puking by next week judging by the past!). So my grand plan now is...if I get the job, hold off ttc until this time next year, a decent enough period I think considering I'll be 38 by then. And if I don't get the job, then full speed ahead with no. 4!!!
Hi to everyone else - hope those woith half-terms are holding out! Are we the only ones to have two weeks?

Rodeo · 30/05/2007 15:10

Afternoon!
Well VirginMedia turned up unannounced at 8.30 this morning to replace the cable the rain got into! We were all still in pyjamas and me and Jess have both got conjunctivitis, so looking lovely with our unkempt hair and toys and breakfast pots all over the place... how embarrassing!
Great news your end news with your new book! You kept that quiet and your AF relief! Happy belated birthday too, hope you enjoyed Joseph!
GG, Glad Girls Aloud were fab! Hope you're alright - update us soon
Chacha Are you Slimming World-ing? I'm terrible with dips too - with tortilla chips - obviously not with anything remotely healthy like carrots or cucumber! How are your boys?
Nova, fantastic news dropping dress sizes! Nice one! How often are you pole-dancing now? I've been asked by a group of mum's if I'll start running with them, think I might start tomorrow unless I can think of a good enough excuse beforehand. I have got a dodgy leg though so can always play on that if I hate it!
Hey Brownie! How was your walk? Is T going out with you now in the backpack? Where are you going away? It's somewhere in Wales isn't it? So glad to have booked ours now, I was convinced all the best places would go and we'd end up in some spider-y hovel
Twinkle, how was scout camp? Did he enjoy himself in all that rain?!
Well it's raining again here now, managed to take the horses out this morning for a good ride so I'm guilt-free on that score!
Oh and did you all hear??!! Derby County are going up Watched the match on Sky on BH Monday and they were brill for the underdog's they are!
Well hello to all the reader/no poster's, hope you are all well too, speak later! Feel like I've been away for ages! x x x

Beksmum · 30/05/2007 23:23

Hi girls,

Sorry for the long absence, just don't seem to have enough hours in the day at the moment, get a chance to read most days but by the time I've caught up I don't have enough time to post. T is a demanding little terror

Belated happy b'day Rodeo and Diege.

GG glad the concert went well, great talking to you the other night by the way

Chacha and Nova, sounds like you guys are doing brilliantly and that your little men are thriving

Good luck to those of you ttcing - you all must be mad [Grin]

Quick update from us, surviving half term which is thankfully only a week long, B is doing really well at school and I'm dead proud of him. T is just adorable, he is a complete little sod in every way but very cute with it, I'm sure he thinks he's five already. Me the ad's have kicked in really well and am feeling a lot better although we have been the house of the sick, dh's back went, I had tonsilitious(?) boys had various bugs so the ad's have been tested to their limits.

Really miss not getting a chance to chat and promise to be better at keeping in touch.

Love to all Beks

feetheart · 31/05/2007 10:11

Lovely to hear from you BEKS and glad you are feeling better. IKWYM about reading but then not having time to post, maybe if I kept my posts short I'd have a better chance!

GG - glad you enjoyed Girls Aloud. Think the last live gig I went to was U2 in 1999. Shocking really as I LOVE live music, just can't beat the atmosphere.

Brilliant news on the dress size Nova, what a buzz!! Don't know that I've ever been a size 10, born and bred a 14 here! Enjoy the shopping.
Must admit to a slight defection to the 10 Years Younger thread as I needed a bit of a kick to get me to pay a little attention to ME. Realised if I didn't do anything no-one else would and I do feel better for it.

Had a lovely camping trip at w/e though we bailed out a day early due to 2am choking-on-Calpol vomiting (A!) and a horrible forecast. Drove all the way home through awful rain feeling rather smug! Wonderful time apart from that as it was a tiny festival in a butterrcup field on a working farm. And I learnt to hula hoop!! Something I've been wanting to do for about 3 years! Need to buy one now and keep practising.

Love to everyone else.

feetheart · 31/05/2007 10:12

PS. Happy Birthday to those I've missed

Rodeo · 31/05/2007 13:51

Afternoon
I've got a quiet afternoon, B & J have gone to Gulliver's Kingdom (you been this year yet Diege?!) with my mum and are staying the night at hers, the only downside being I can't send Jess into their bedrooms first thing - I can usually get another peaceful hour in bed until they're starving for breakfast!
Hi Feety & Beks! LOL at driving through the rain smugness And well done you on the hula-hooping - you'll be a size 10 in no time if you keep that up! I had a go with dd's skipping rope a few day's ago - bloody hell, I think they've changed it from when I was little, it's sooooo hard nowadays!
Beks, glad ADs are working Sorry to hear yuo've all been ill, how poo! Was just talking the other day about being soooo sick of the doctors waiting room! I was never at the docs pre-children!
Debating whether to get some washing on the line - looks nice and sunny but there's a few dark clouds hanging about. With the half term mountainous piles I've got to get through I think I'll risk it. Cheerio! x

Beksmum · 01/06/2007 10:30

Morning,

Feetheart, you remember we said about a trip to Whipsnade, B has an inset day on the 11th June, if you are around and the weather is good thought I might brave the M25 with the kids. Let me know how you're fixed, sorry for the short notice, I've been meaning to post this for ages and then realised it's June today!!! Beks

Hope everyone else is well Beks

feetheart · 01/06/2007 16:17

BEKS - 11th would be fine for A and me. T is at pre-school all day on a Monday and loves it so much that I've a feeling that even the zoo would come second! Will B forgive me if T doesn't come?
Anyone else fancy the zoo??

novadandypowder · 01/06/2007 17:39

I'm up for the zoo, with both of them - eek! Wonder if they need an extra monkey

feetheart · 01/06/2007 17:46

Excellent, you brave woman
Anyone else?

Beksmum · 01/06/2007 18:31

Hi ya

Excellent news, Feetheart I'm sure B would forgive T for her absence!!!
Nova fantastic, I'm in awe that you'll brave the M25 with both yours so young - way to go girl! Lol at the monkey comment I adopted a monkey for Ben from Whipsnade when he was a baby

Anyone else up for it?

novadandypowder · 02/06/2007 11:00

I shall be venturing up the M1 route - but if you think i'm brave, is there something I should know about??
