Grannycrackers, have you heard it may close down then? Oh no, that will be awful!

Lol, about the baba's kissing, cant wait for Jackson do slobber me with his love ha! At the moment he just wants everything in his mouth, is teething badly again and his two front gnashers are growing really fast, should I be brushing them?

Lol at hangover Snow, I'll be having one tomorrow as its the leaving do from work tonight and I'm getting a taxi so will be having plenty myself later.

Jackson sits up for few seconds then falls to the side, loves to be rolling around and trys to bounce up and down when he's on my lap or swings to the side like he'd dancing. He's aklso started saying bababa all the time, think its just the way he babbles and not a real word for him yet.

I got 2 tats and really want Jackson's name somewhere in small fancy writing but not sure where yet. DH has got 12 tattoos and even has Jaskon's name on inside of his arm looks cool.

Really want to start giving ds something other than pureed food now, any ideas? He enjoys mashed banana, porridge, carrots, fruit puree, caulifower cheese. Want to give him food to play with but should I feed him his quota first as he may not eat it by himself? Am confused!

Jackson slept through last night from 7.30-6.30 wahoo!

Snowboo · 28/02/2007 11:25

Granny, try telling my head its good for me Have had a gallon of pomegranete (sp?) juice this morn to try and get rid of the toxins....

BHM, well done at the sleep! All i need now is for ds1 to sleep thru on his own in his bed. One of his friends mums was mortified at the thought he sleeps with us. (Same one as earlier rant) I don't really care tbh. He'll sleep when he's ready i guess.

Have a good night tonight BHM and make sure you have the painkillers ready for tomorrow

BigHotMama · 28/02/2007 11:31

Pack of Resolve on the ready cheers Snowboo! Hope your head clears up soon, there's nothing worse is there?

olivo · 28/02/2007 13:09

good news with the sleeping BHM!

am in a bit of a stress due to a problem i'm having with my tummy (have posted on health under 'abdo pain', if anyone can help). dd has been whinging lots today too and i'm finding it hard to pick her up. has anyone tried the ashton and parson's powders and do they work?

at least the sun is shining and i dont have a hangover

Snowboo · 28/02/2007 20:27

Olivo sorry to hear you feel rough. I use Nelsons Teetha powders with Austin and they seem to help. Knock him out for a while

olivo · 28/02/2007 21:06

thanks Boo - have got some of those in too so will give them a go.

BLWisbest · 01/03/2007 09:36

Listen to you all gabbing about piercings, tattoo's and wine!
Good god, this a parenting site. Have a little decourum!

Although thinking about some of those piercings, makes me do something like a pelvic floor exercise and wince like I'm eating a bee.

Went out all day yesterday and BLW came into full force.
We went to dh's grandmas for dinner and she cooked a full roast for us. So Ellis has Cauliflower, sprouts, carrots, beef and a bit of mash. Although he couldn't work the peas out lol! Then MIL had brought dd a gingerbread man. She didnt want it and ellis ended up grabbing it and he tucked right into it!
So the teeth that have come through will now be falling out with all the sugar from yesterday. Oh and he also had a prawn cracker from our takeaway
This morning he's been tucking into croissants.

Also had a better night too. He's learning to settle himself which I think is the key to him waking up.
So fingers crossed!

BigHotMama · 01/03/2007 11:25

God i'm feeling like a bag of shit today...wine induced had about seven large glasses last night at our works do and everyone is walking around like zombies ion the office today, thank god its not a proper work day, just garden leave.

NBG, Ellis is having a great time with food isnt he? Wow he sounds like he's enjoying himself. Does he chew the beef or do you puree it?

Feels like I've hardly spent time with Jackson over the last few days and cant wait to have him for the whole days in the week again, I really really miss the little man and feel quite guilty for only having the odd hour or two here and there before and after work.

Olivo, hope your tummy pain eases up hun, I get shooting pains down there too but its not constant. A girl at work who also had a c section said its probably the nerve ends nitting together again? I aint got a clue what it is but it comes sharp. I still havent had a period yet either

Hope everyone else is ok x x x

BLWisbest · 01/03/2007 13:20

No BHM, not doing any pureeing at all now. All BLW. The few purees I did make up, I've been using on rice cakes or toast.

Olivo, hope your pain eases up too hun. I didnt ntice that bit in your post. Sorry !

BLWisbest · 01/03/2007 19:54

BOOBY RING ME ASAP!!!!
Take That tickets go on sale tomorrow at 9am. I'm going to get you a ticket to come with me and my SIL at Manchester MEN in december.
We'll sort out money and stuff some other time but if I dont get them tomorrow they'll sell out!
Its either Friday 14th or Saturday 15th!

BLWisbest · 01/03/2007 19:55

December that is!

Snowboo · 01/03/2007 21:14

Yellow, how much are the tickets?? Whats the number? Dh promised if they do an more shows he'll personally take me there! (So i can't get too wet i guess )

olivo · 01/03/2007 21:17

grr, i'm - i'd love to go to take that!
still got my tummy pains but they're a bit less severe than the past few days when they had me doubling over. have to go to work tomorrow but if no better i'll have to go back to the doctors as i'm not having my holiday ruined. they feel too far over to be related to my c-section; i've had the hot stabby pains of the nerves knitting back together - ouch, they hurt!

NBG - ellis sounds like he's loving the food;we are going to start dd on food when we come back and hope to do BLW.
BHM - hope you're hangover has eased off. what is garden leave?

melsy · 02/03/2007 08:46

OK Ive turned into one fo those mums that always feels worse than anyone else. So just go la la la la when I talk.

I AM PROFOUNDLY AND SHOCKINGLY TIRED

I am to be found lurking on here most days , but havent summoned the energy to remember what I read , I can hear words like ; drunk , piercings , kissing babies , but never get it int a coherent sentence related to someone in particular. I have various threads on all sorts as Ive been a state. but not really come on here , shame on me.

Ive had 10 days of illness in this house and I cant take anymore. I must have changed 10 dodgy nappies yesterday as dd2's vomity bug turned into stomach bug too.
To top it all my first af of 16mths turned up ,j8st to help along the situation. I think Ive just lost a litre !!! GP yesterday is sending me for a a blood test for thyroid and anemia. That could explain a lot.

BigHotMama · 02/03/2007 10:04

Hangover is no more thank god, i feel normal again today, although Jackson woke up crying his little heart out at 2.30am and then again at 3.30am so much for him sleeping through .

Oh I'd love to see Take That bet the tickets are sold out now! I love their new song at the moment

Hiya Melsy hun, you sound like your having a right rough time lately, hope they can sort it out for you and get you diagnosed and onto the right medication. Hope you and your dd feel better soon. I've still not had my first af yet, not that I'm complaining though.

Olivo, garden leave is when your still employed and get paid a full monthly wage but you dont actually work full time, just required to do part time hours oir to be on call for the odd day. Am on this for 2 months now so no more full time yipee!

Its such a beautiful day here feels like spring is in the air.

eenybeeny · 02/03/2007 12:27

Hi all! Hope you are all good. We are, Sal is sick and Alex still has his cold but I am great - I got a job!!!!!!! As a waitress at a Harvester pub!!! Evenings and weekends, and I start tonight! I am so excited! Wish you could all come visit me there!

Nbg · 02/03/2007 12:54

Hey well done eeny!

Olivo, sounds painful hun. Hope it eases soon for you.

Bhm and snowboo. You'll be lucky to get tickets now.
I've had a real mare getting them. I spent 2 and hlaf hours solid on the phone and net. Then Ticketmaster actually rang me! So I managed to get them

I wish I'd have known you wanted to go. Melsy and Booby are coming with me but there is a max of 6 tickets per customer and I already had me SIL her mum and mate comning too so I was at my limit.

Sorry!

BigHotMama · 02/03/2007 15:32

Tell me about it NBG, my mate was trying for ages to get some tickets but had no luck, what a bummer! Very of you 3 going!

Fantastic news on the job Eeny , well done chick and let us know how you get on.

purpleturtle · 02/03/2007 15:42

You know, we're a bit out of date with our thread title - don't know about yours , but my LO is over 6 months now! LOL

He's currently dragging himself around the floor, trying to work out how to crawl. He is so frustrated.

I've had a half-hearted attempt at the BLW, but my Baby has Led me back to purees. He likes them. He doesn't drop them. He doesn't gag on them. So we're all happy. Although he does seem to think he'd like to eat puree wtih his fingers. that's more like interior design than nutrition though!
