He's started to really get into the xbox and all the games so I think that and telly will keep me sane... and when the tiredness hits I can sleep when he's at playschool.

We sent in his application a couple of weeks ago the nearest school is a street away but I really hope we get the one further down the road it's all new and it looks so much nicer. But I realise we won't really get much say

BellaGoth · 22/12/2016 11:22

Bit late to the party but huge congratulations Blink!

Things are going well here at the moment. DS has a suspected Sensory Processing Disorder. We're still waiting for an official diagnosis but the symptoms all fit and since we've been working with this in mind his behaviour has improved dramatically.

DD is now 19 weeks and doing really well. She sleeps and everything!

School application is in, just crossing our fingers now.

Much excitement about Christmas here!

LotisBlue · 07/01/2017 00:05

Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and the little ones are enjoying their fourth birthdays. Dd was ridiculously excited about the whole thing, especially with Christmas and birthday right next to each other.

Blink how are you getting on? Glad to hear your dd is sleeping... Ds is 13 months and still only sleeps in my bed, preferably attached to my boob Hmm

Bella I am glad you have a potential diagnosis.

Good luck with school applications everyone!

Ooh hello everyone, will log back in from laptop and update properly in a bit. But here's a picture of DD all grown up

Oh glorious look at her! She really does look grown up.

How are you getting on Blink? How many weeks are you now?

We had a lovely Christmas, DS was beside himself with excitement. And now we're in the throes of organising hos birthday party. Fun times!

I've started a Reception 2017 support thread in the Primary School section if anyone wants to join us.

Hello

Glorious! So grown up!

Ivy was really excited for Christmas this year and then spent the next week counting down to her birthday. Can't believe she's 4.

She was loving the snow on the way to school this morning! Did everyone else get much snow? Ours is all gone already!

LotisBlue · 14/01/2017 19:56

We had quite a thick snow shower but it didn't settle. Dd got very excited dancing around in it and pretending to be elsa!

She's such a cutie glorious!

Off to look for bellas thread..

BellaGoth · 19/03/2017 20:29

Where is everyone? Is anyone still here?

LotisBlue · 18/04/2017 17:49

Hello, just checking in to see how everyone got on school admissions? We got our first choice so I'm happy. Fingers crossed for the rest of you!

RatOnnaStick · 18/04/2017 19:49

Ooh hello! Long-time-no-see, thought I'd drop by and see if this was still active. We got first choice too which is unsurprising as his brother is there and it's a small-medium size village school. He's not ready at all though, still behaves very much like a 3-yr old with a toddler's awareness of everything. He could definitely do with longer at nursery.

I can't believe our babies are all grown!

Dancetherain · 18/04/2017 20:06

Hello :) glad you got the schools you wanted. We did too and Ivy is going to the same school all the rest went to. Shes already in the nursery there so all pretty well sorted Smile

Rat my ds2 was like that, really didn't seem ready for school and probably could have done with longer at nursery but after the first term in reception he just flew. Hope Dan is the same. He's about to do his sats and off to join his brother at the local secondary soon and is still flying.

Ivy is so ready its scary.

They are growing up fast aren't they?!

Dancetherain · 18/04/2017 20:08

Ooh sorry should have said i used to be applecrumples/mavoliobent. Lost my login so had to set up a new account!

RatOnnaStick · 18/04/2017 20:17

Glad Ivy got her place. Dan is just so different to his brother. He was extremely ready by October the previous year Hmm.

Oh well, he'll get there in the end I suppose.

LotisBlue · 19/04/2017 12:57

Dd is definitely ready in terms of social skills. She struggles with practical things like getting dressed on her own . But I guess she won't be the only one. I expect that all children will have some things they find easy and other things will be a steep learning curve!
