spotty hang on in there - in a few weeks going out will be less hassle than with nappies.
Touch wood T seems to be doing well and has not had a night nappy on this week with no wet beds - better not have jinxed it now!

SpottyTeacakes · 30/07/2015 06:23

Beasty that's so funny Smile

Thanks WL I suppose I just have to go with it now! Falling asleep in the car will be the worst thing I think.

Barbeasty · 30/07/2015 08:10

DH got a pack of incontinence sheets and has put one in A's car seat in his car. They have sticky tabs you can fix it with. Certainly easier than dismantling and washing.

SpottyTeacakes · 30/07/2015 08:18

I was going to use a towel but thats a good idea Grin so far so good (I know it's only 8:15!) one big wee in the potty instigated by ds.

SpottyTeacakes · 30/07/2015 08:19

Ds just wiped my kids off his face ShockSad

halestone · 30/07/2015 09:41

Haha Beasty, A sounds a great little character.

WL go T, i am so nervous about H weeing during the night as it seems to upset her. She is dead proud of a morning when she wakes up though and tells me mummy i had a dry night. We've been lucky really as shes only had 3 accidents in the night. I don't put knickers on her though so she doesn't get confused.

Nutella, you are right, it is hard to take care of each other whilst DC are little and theres so much going on.

Spotty, i hope DS carries on doing well with his potty training.

I still put a nappy on DS at night time and he wakes me for him to wee. I've been so lucky with his potty training. It just clicked.

I shall stop at one child and then I never have to experience any of the horrors or poo withholding and toilet terror etc.

He did have a stage though where he thought it was hilarious to wee in his wardrobe!

Glad you're sorting it out Hales. Hope you're okay this week with all the stress of the funeral and your nan. Flowers

WLmum · 30/07/2015 18:59

frazzled Grin wee in his wardrobe!
Dh and I have date night tonight as dds are staying over at grannies. How to decide expensive Chinese, mid price funky Indian or cheap Lebanese?

DeladionInch · 30/07/2015 19:25

R has been fucking appalling today. 4 accidents this morning, stroppy, demanding, rude even to my mum who he adores. I was very nearly ashamed to be his mother Sad

Barbeasty · 30/07/2015 21:24

Delad let us know tomorrow what he's come down with!
A very proudly showed me the toilets at holiday club today, where he had no accidents.

Hope you went Lebanese WL, just because we don't have anything like that near us!!

WLmum · 30/07/2015 21:48

We went funky Indian because it's walking distance and dh didn't want to drive. The Lebanese place is yummy though and byo so cheap drinks too. Winner! It's good for going with a group so lots of sharing platters.

Barbeasty · 30/07/2015 22:03

We have no choice but to drive for anything more than a pub. And a bearable chinese takeaway. And the only place that delivers is Dominoes!

WLmum · 30/07/2015 22:19

We live in a biggish village with 2 Chinese, 3 Indian, 1 fish and chips, 1 Thai, 1 japenese, 3 cafes, 1 patisserie and another restaurant in the making! We also have a harvester, a pub and a wine bar.
Crazy!

WLmum · 30/07/2015 22:20

The nearest town is 4 miles and has an abundance of everything.

WLmum · 30/07/2015 22:21

Oh yes we have a take away pizza place too.

SpottyTeacakes · 31/07/2015 06:10

We actually get Indian and Chinese that deliver they're v expensive though. We've only got a pub in walking distance too and it's £8 for a sandwich.

SpottyTeacakes · 31/07/2015 14:47

WillYou that's so funny about the wardrobe!

Ds has done really well again today. He was at my parents, was dry in the car (20 mins) had a little accident in his pjs but that's it. Did a poo too. He also goes on the potty to fart Grin

Barbeasty · 31/07/2015 21:22

Yay little Spotty

I had a call from the head of DD's school this afternoon. There's a new girl starting in her class in September and she wants to pass on our details to arrange a play date over the summer before she starts. I thought it was a really nice thing to do.

We went out for dinner tonight. Both DC are having a sleepover at MIL's. I dread to think how A has been.

WLmum · 31/07/2015 21:40

beasty what a lovely thing for the school to do.
Fil thinks our dds are totally unruly.
spotty our babies are growing up! Fx the hard bit is over for you.

WLmum · 31/07/2015 21:42

I'm watching location - omg - a 3 bed semi for £120k. Wtf?!?! Wouldn't get a studio in a horrible area round here for that. So makes we want to relocate!

WLmum · 31/07/2015 21:57

Ok, credits said prices correct atay 2012 but still!

ThreeFrazzledFandangos · 31/07/2015 23:30

My enormous 2 bed dormer bungalow with large garden was £120 WL.

And my old house was a 3 bed semi with a detached garage and massive conservatory. I sold that for £121!

Cheap up here in the north!

The wardrobe peeing was quite funny. And it's just an ikea slider so easily cleaned!

halestone · 01/08/2015 00:55

I was going to say you can buy a 3 bed semi detached beautiful house for £120,000 where i am as well.

Beasty, your Dds Head teacher sounds lovely, thats a really thoughtful idea of hers.

Spotty yay to DS.

SpottyTeacakes · 01/08/2015 06:33

WL we watched that and both were shocked at the price. You could get a small one bedroom flat for that but that's it. It's all very well for people to suggest moving but our jobs and family are all here plus dh is grossly over paid for his qualifications Grin

Ds woke up dry and asking for a wee Smile

DeladionInch · 01/08/2015 08:57

I got a 2bed flat for that 10 years ago. It's rental prices that have got out of control, in the time I've been here they've gone up about £200 a month! Wages have barely changed!
