We're having veg and lentil casserole for dinner. I will whizz it into soup for the dc Wink

Bit random but....I've had really sore boobs for about three weeks now (not pregnant!) it gets worse throughout the day and is every single day. Not bra related. Any ideas?

On second thoughts the dc are arguing so it may well end up being our oven food night Blush

WLmum · 20/07/2015 17:03

Inspired by you dh and had a chat about doing some financial planning spreadsheets on the school run!

SpottyTeacakes · 20/07/2015 17:39

Glad to help with your wild nights in WL Grin

ddas · 20/07/2015 20:27

Me & dh keep saying we need to get more organised. Just seem so busy all the time that things get left to last minute creating more stress etc

WLmum · 20/07/2015 23:15

spotty boobs can only be hormones I'd say. Mine were sore most of the time like that when I had the coil, just as you say, like I was pg.
we had veg, bean and lentil shepards pie for tea. Yummy, kids all eat it and it batch freezes well. Winner! Shame it was followed by a glass of wine and a whole chocolate orange!! Blush

SpottyTeacakes · 21/07/2015 05:40

I'm not on any hormonal contraception though so I don't understand Confused

Mmm I love chocolate oranges!

WLmum · 21/07/2015 20:31

Work vs family sucks - was stuck at the office until 8pm. Hooray for being on holiday for the rest of the week - off camping tomorrow (when I've made a couple of work calls Angry and finished packing!)

halestone · 21/07/2015 21:06

I have no idea Spotty maybe try another pregnancy test though. I do like how organised you and your DH are. Me and Dp are incapable of doing that.

Beasty, hope your having a nice time.

WL, have a fab holiday.

Nutella i hope your ears are ok now.

My Aunty passed away this eveningSad but at least she is no longer in any pain or having to lie in that bed anymore.

SpottyTeacakes · 21/07/2015 21:09

Really sorry to hear that hales Sad

WL where are you off to? Hope you can switch off from work. Dd still has one more day left of school.

WLmum · 21/07/2015 21:09

Bless you hales. I hope she's at peace and that you are ok. Flowers

utopian99 · 21/07/2015 21:42

Sorry to hear about your aunt hales, hope the rest of the family are okay.

O had a fit because he wanted to keep his shorts that were covered in pistachio ice cream on for bed. Hmm He actually rarely tantrums but when he does gets so stuck in it all I could do was hold him till he fell asleep still weeping a bit. Dh and I changed him after in his sleep but I feel Sad

His end of term concert was onFriday though, and he was the one getting most involved of all of his class. I could see him hand - dancing from where we were on the balcony and afterwards he said he could see us and looked dead pleased. This is ds1 who was our poor nigh on wordless2 year old, he's changed so fast!

DeladionInch · 21/07/2015 22:15

Hales Thanks

halestone · 22/07/2015 09:49

Thank You everyone.

Utopian, H has temper tantrums regularily and it sounds horrible but we have to ignore her as it makes her worse if we try to calm or cuddle her.

hales Flowers I'm sorry to hear your news, hope you're ok.

I'm going to post about DS' sleep issue in the Facebook group. But just for those who aren't on there.... I think it boils down to him needing reassurance from us. But I cannot figure out what or how to do that. Any one have any ideas?

SpottyTeacakes · 22/07/2015 12:40

Same hales. On the rare occasion ds does it I say to him that when he is ready for a cuddle he can come and have one and he always does.

I have a new shiny diagnosis of lupus Hmm just mild though. Got some tablets to start on

WLmum · 22/07/2015 13:59

Same here re tantrums, with all 3 dds! They need to burn it up first before being ready for comfort.

Poor you spotty. Hope the tablets work.

DeladionInch · 22/07/2015 14:27

Any attention adds 10 minutes to R's tantrums. He's currently going through a phase of refusing breakfast then turning into a massive drama llama at 11 when he's ravenous. Today I got him to have a cereal bar (usually a treat as they're for daddy's lunch box) which lead to a banana and a slice of my toast. Then I dumped him on my mum for the day!

Spotty r has wanted slinging more the last few weeks, I think it's a reaction to his increasing independence. A couple of times he's asked to go up instead of walking somewhere!

We have the opposite to a sleep problem. He goes down fine, wakes up and calls out, then has a tantrum because he wants to go back to bed HmmConfused

WLmum · 22/07/2015 15:27

Yep, kids are crazy! Actually poor little mites, their brains and emotions can get so frazzled they just don't know what to do.

DeladionInch · 22/07/2015 18:13

Toilet humour has definitely hit, we're currently enjoying dinner in front of the Wayber Poos

Barbeasty · 22/07/2015 22:12

A got the bottle for DD's doll and put it in his potty, under a pair if trousers then said "I gonna wee on it. Then fart on it. And poo on it". Then there's the fact that if he's annoyed everything is wee wee. And the jokes. And calling people poo face. The sad thing is that DD (5) finds it just as hilarious and often instigates it.

Hales sorry about your aunt.

A decided to punish me for taking DD camping. His method? Only letting DH wipe his pooey bottom. Ha. I love my punishment!

Barbeasty · 22/07/2015 22:13

Oh, and glad you have a diagnosis Spotty. Hope the medication helps.

SpottyTeacakes · 23/07/2015 18:37

Parenting fail x2 today.

Ds kept trying to run off in the shop so I had his hand quite tightly, he threw himself on the floor and I nearly fell over too then he went to do it again so I let go and he hit the back of his head on the floor really hard. Then this afternoon he got my chlotrimazole cream and put it all over his face and he's now got a rash where it was Hmm
