Hope everyone has a good day. Sorry to hear about your ds3 cinnamon it's the uncertainty hanging over you which is rubbish but I hope that having less hospital visits is better for you!

Good news about the weight gain Wineandchoccy Smile

I've had HV visit this morning and dd has been referred to community eye clinic as she has a mild squint. Hopefully she will grow out of it but will see what they say.

Need something else to do today but I'm uninspired! It looks like rain but if it holds off ill go out for a walk in a bit.

PenguinPoser · 19/06/2015 21:45

It's lonely on here now...

DD is doing a good job of being hard to get to bed tonight. About to attempt getting her in the crib again. Hope everyone has a decent night. Yay for the weekend Smile

FiRaffe · 19/06/2015 21:49

Been a busy day after I realised I probably should make DH a first father's day card rather than use the one i'd bought!

I'm suffering with hayfever and I wish I could take something for it!

cinnamongreyhound · 19/06/2015 22:36

It is very PenguinPoser!! Yay for the weekend! Sam has fallen asleep the last three nights by 9.30 but then wakes again an hour later for a feed. Improvement that we get a little time on our own but I've been hopefully asleep when he reawakens! Good luck with your bedtime and night.

Can you not take anything when bring then FiRaffe? I haven't made any cards but then ds1&2 have done at school.

My minded little boy was ill today so only before and after schoolers. Ds2 and I made those easy peanut butter cookies that have been going around fb they tasted good Smile did some ironing and then did nothing between dropping ds2 at school and picking them all off. Getting better with the ring sling and think it'll suit me pretty well Smile

Right off to try and sleep now!

Wineandchoccy · 20/06/2015 01:01

Dd has woke up but being hard work to feed and just seems to want a cuddle which is lovely but I'm tired.

I panicked the other day when giving dd a bath because I thought her foot was all bruised then realised it was the green paint used when doing her footprint for a Father's Day card Grin

I managed to do a load of ironing and clean the windows downstairs whilst dd amused herself on her play gym, it is easier now she will entertain herself for a short time although the tune on the play gym drives me mad but dd seems to like it.

LittleGreyCatwithapinkcollar · 20/06/2015 05:09

Sorry about the hay fever FiRaffe. Mine seems to have got better year by year but was only ever alergic to one pollen so I can just avoid it. I know it's a nightmare for some!

Sounds nice to be able to go at a slightly slower pace for the day cinnamon, I sometimes feel tired just reading about how busy you are. Need to get myself some of your energy!

I love being able to pop her on the play gym wineandchoccy! I got to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner with two hands yesterday thanks to that thing!! Grin

Yesterday was fairly hard work as DD refused to nap all day which led to get getting quite Screamy by the end of the day. Then DH came to bed when I'd finally got her asleep in her crib and woke her up. Angry I got cross and told him he had to come to bed earlier because it's not fair when he gets to sleep all night, and I've spent 2 hours settling her and he barges in and I have to start again! I just went for a wee before getting her up for this feed and she got grizzly and when u got back he was up comforting her for the first time ever in the night. Perhaps progress has been made!

PenguinPoser · 20/06/2015 07:29

Pleased your DH got up to help littlegreycat! It's not like we are sleeping all day to make up for the loss of sleep at night so it's only fair that they help I think.

I feel bad that so many people have home made cards and I bought one! Might pop to Asda this morning while DH at work for card and paint.... Maybe!!! Would be nice for his first Father's Day.

We were going to have a family BBQ tomorrow but by the time we realised we had about 15 people to invite and saw the weather forecast we have decided against it. Need to decide what to do now!

cinnamongreyhound · 20/06/2015 08:48

Sam hasn't made dh anything PenguinPoser!

Glad your getting cross has had an impact LittleGreyCatwithapinkcollar. I had to speak to dh about perhaps getting up with Sam at weekends if he was fed and just wanted to see someone.

cinnamongreyhound · 21/06/2015 03:52

Not a great day yesterday Sad. The system was very slow so took me ages to process parkrun results, got into the kitchen to do a very late breakfast to find a broken washing machine! Dh spent ages looking at it (I mean literally standing there staring! I said looking at it won't help and wanted to get with breakfast as it was 11.30 and I knew Sam was going to wake up. Which he did so fed him and even later breakfast! Eventually went to get ready and he wanted to dtd I just said we can if it's quick as we weren't even dressed and it was nearly 2. He said no and was then annoyed that he felt I wanted to do something and wasn't saying, usual tiny stupid arguments of which we had several including him making suggestions I'm not strict enough with ds2, raking offence that I couldn't hear what he said at one point and the worst one he took my pillow again! It was nearly 11 I went up to find him on his back taking up the whole bed with all three pillows under his head!!!!!! I just got in a laid down which woke him up, he gave it back and said sorry, I replied that I'd asked him not to which he then said he'd taken it for me so he didn't snore?!?!?! I should have been quiet then but couldn't! Ended up in sleeping bag with said pillow on Sam's floor. He woke again half an hour later and dh came down to help Hmm once I said I was going to feed him he started chatting and went to lay on my sleeping bag scrunching up the bloody pillow under his head! I just said 'really?!?!' And he got u and left tried to go back up but he started complaining how he'd said sorry and is been griping at him all day. I said he takes everything I say the worst possible way and that he always says all the right things but never acts on them and came back in here. Just feeding now and he's snoring his head off! I don't want to spend Sunday upset with each other but he's so easy to upset at the moment and I'm one who's sodding sleep deprived!

PenguinPoser · 21/06/2015 07:28

Oh cinnamon Sad so sorry you're having issues with DH. Sounds like lots of little things building up. I agree you're the one that's sleep deprived! But sounds like he deals with less sleep deprivation less well than you - iyswim! Don't really know what to suggest but sending virtual Cake and feel free to have a moan anytime Flowers

I did make a card yesterday (as you may have seen on FB) it was a slight nightmare getting paint and footprints from a wriggly baby and she was covered in yellow paint ended up looking slightly jaundiced again and I was frantically trying to get the paint off before DH got home! I'm pretty pleased with the outcome though Smile

Other than that yesterday we visited MIL in the afternoon. She has just been to Disney is Paris with SIL and Niece and brought dd some pretty presents back. We then went to sainsburies and I got dd some little jeans as she had lots of t shirts and not much to wear on bottom half! I got them from the boys section but jeans are jeans surely!! They only had pink for girls and I really wanted blue denim ones. Bit too obsessed with baby clothes.

Went out for food for friends birthday last night which was lovely there was a good band on and nice food. Didn't have any of the amazing cocktails as I was driving (and obv bf). DD had pretty much settled before I went out DH only gave her 1oz from bottle and she slept. I think he was pretty happy as he then got some Xbox time!

cinnamongreyhound · 21/06/2015 08:49

Thank you! Was woken by ds2 and then a grumpy cat this morning so went up to chat with dh, he said he'd been laying awake this morning worrying our marriage was over Shock he's agreed with me on pretty much everything I said and said he'll try harder! He's also promised not to touch my pillow ever again Wink let's hope today is better! We've just fallen asleep for another hour and Sam has woken us up now.

Sounds like a lovely day PenguinPoser! Glad you got to go out and did behaved herself Grin how do they not sell blue jeans for girls? We have the same here, lots of t-shirts for presents but very few trousers, I got some in sainburys (very light and soft) and a lovely little set of 2 joggers in asda. I always think when they're laying in them all the time I like then to be soft and stretchy.

FiRaffe · 21/06/2015 10:35

Glad you had a chat cinnamon. Maybe you need to buy him a pillow as a belated father's day present!!!!!

I had the paint fun too Penguin.... I told DH his feet were blue because he had new socks on earlier!!!!!

Went to Brighton yesterday for a friend's hen party. Was a bit odd as the group all split up to do what they wanted but went with my friend for cake, well we had lunch and she had a cake and cocktail!!!

cinnamongreyhound · 21/06/2015 11:42

I wouldn't mind but he has 2 anyway ConfusedHmm

Brighton is one place I'd really like to visit, glad you had a good time Smile

Wineandchoccy · 21/06/2015 12:18

Sorry you had a bad day yesterday cinnamon but hopefully your chat with DH will help.

Penguin I bought dd some boys jeans in Tesco because I could only find ones with hearts, butterfly's or flowers on them and I wanted plain ones.

firaffe I hope your cake was yummy.

I'm still trying to get green paint off DD's toes and we did footprints last Monday at bumps + babies group. I hope all the new Daddies appreciate our efforts.
Both Grandads have cried one over his card and the other over a photo of dd smiling Grin

We had a rubbish night yesterday took ages to settle dd and then she was up for 3 hours in the middle of the night. I hope I can have a nap later to catch up on some sleep.

FiRaffe · 21/06/2015 16:56

Spoke to my dad earlier and he cried at the moonpig card of DS. Makes me happy that he liked it so much.

Hope you've had a good day. We're off to a midsummer party later I hope but really should make cake first!!!

cinnamongreyhound · 22/06/2015 06:38

3 hours in the middle of the night is horrible wineandchoccy! Lovely to hear about soppy granddads Grin

And yours too FiRaffe! My dad is quite a soft person but doesn't cry often at all. Hope your midsummer party was good, haven't heard of that before.

So I decide to put Sam on his yummy for the whole night last night. Have been doing it after his night feed for a while even when it was at 2 so figured what's the difference really. He settled at 9.30 which was great! Earliest for weeks and he has just woken up ShockShockShock may just be a fluke but wow! I woke up at 2.30, 3.30, 5 and 6 and instantly checked on him though!

FiRaffe · 22/06/2015 07:21

It is difficult to sleep when they are out of pattern. We had 10.30-5.50 this morning but DS still hasn't fed.... well, he took a tiny bit when he failed to latch on my boob and then a bit from the bottle, but has now gone back to sleep...... hope he's okay!

Wineandchoccy · 22/06/2015 08:00

Yeah for good sleep all round last night, we had a better night than the previous night as well so I feel human again Smile

PenguinPoser · 22/06/2015 20:22

Hope tonight is another good night everyone! Fingers crossed.

It's been an awful wet and cold day here so we didn't get out for our usual walk. DD napped after her early morning feed until 10.30 - unfortunately I was up and ready! We managed to get a couple of bits of shopping then had water babies this afternoon. Need to go to post office tomorrow to return some dresses. Trying to find bf friendly dresses to wear to weddings is driving me crazy!

Wineandchoccy · 22/06/2015 21:16

Dd slept & fed through the bumps & babies class today she seems to think it's nap time every time we go.

There's a new pram walk starting tomorrow so if the weather is better than today I will take dd.

Dd has just gone to sleep so let's hope we all have good nights.

cinnamongreyhound · 22/06/2015 21:22

That sounds a nice idea wineandchoccy, let us know how it goes.

Sam slept 2.30-6.30 this afternoon and that with it being my busiest day and having 11 kids in the house 3.30-5.30! I fed him and expressed as soon as he woke and went for a run with my canicross club, he hadnt needed the bottle when I got home, fed twice and is now asleep.

Was ds ok FiRaffe?

LittleGreyCatwithapinkcollar · 22/06/2015 21:54

We've been up in the bedroom trying to make DD sleepy since 8 and she's still wide awake! She did nap well today though so not screaming with over tiredness like usual, bbut no sign she ever wants to sleep again! Hope your bubs are being better behaved!

cinnamongreyhound · 23/06/2015 07:09

Another night all the way through Shock my goodness my boobs hurt! I'm tempted to try his back in his back so I dont have the worry! I only woke up once last night to check him though. Hope you all had good nights too.

PenguinPoser · 23/06/2015 16:56

Excellent news cinnamon! It's awful when you wake up panicking if they're ok though isn't it. Hope your dd settled littlegreycat.

Did you go on the pram walk Wineandchoccy? Sounds like the sort of thing I would like. Went for a walk this morning exploring a local housing estate that I've never walked through before... Exciting times!!! SiL and niece have been over this afternoon. Now just waiting for DH to come in from work and trying to decide what to make for tea!

Starting baby massage tomorrow so hope dd likes it. It's a 4 week course I think.

Wineandchoccy · 23/06/2015 19:43

penguin yes we went on the pram walk it was good this weeks was by the river and next time it is through the woods. I also met lots of other Mums and babies who don't go to the other baby groups that I go to. It's run by our local council they are called Prambles and are free I'm not sure if other councils run the same thing.
I hope you enjoy the baby massage we have made progress this afternoon we managed to massage 2 legs then she screamed for a feed Grin keep a nappy handy as they all seem to wee if you are not quick enough getting the nappy on.

I hope you have another good night cinnamon

I saw a lady in Spar earlier who is 40 + 13 and is being induced tomorrow she looked thoroughly fed up, I loved being pregnant but I certainly don't miss those last few days of wobbling around.
