On the plus side, DS finally did a decent sized poo.... It's an emotional poocoaster.

TheBooMonster · 26/03/2015 14:22

rpopz sharted... You or DS? Shock

laurenamium · 26/03/2015 15:54

popz you sharted in ikea?! Grin

willywallace · 26/03/2015 16:04

Grin popz. The joys of a post-pregnancy body. How's your arse fissure?

Furry that sounds horrible. Does she wake up upset?

RPopz · 26/03/2015 16:55

We both did Boo Wink Mine was like the tiniest bit of arse rain but I've had no more since so no idea what the hell that was about Confused

Fissure is healing slowly wil. Still a bit painful but not shitting glass painful like it was originally!

The joys indeed.

TheBooMonster · 26/03/2015 17:14

Oh dear rpopz!

Day 5 weigh in is tomorrow, am
I right in thinking we're looking for the weight to be the same or more than day 3?

cookielove · 26/03/2015 17:17

rpopz I have a fissure too - sad times. Some times its fine and other times really painful :( its been 7 months you'd think it be healed by now!

I completely recommend swimming Elijah adores it :)

willywallace · 26/03/2015 18:12

I have no idea Boo, they just weigh on random days here.

FurryScoob · 26/03/2015 18:27

sorry popz shouldn't laugh but a synco shart made me giggle! will now grow up & stop behaving like a child

DD's just niggly when she wakes up wil but it takes ages to wake her up & snap her out of it. Seems pretty common & just something she'll grow out of in time.

Reflux viroids I need your help, DD is on aptimil reflux milk & so far it's worked brilliantly but now DD rolls over she's started being sick if she's on her belly for a while. It's not just a small amount, she can puke up over half a bottle worth of milk in one go but she doesn't get upset or screamy with it. HV insist I shouldn't weed her until 6 months but would it help if I ignore there advise & start weening now? If food will stay down I don't see the point of letting her puke for another 2 months.

FurryScoob · 26/03/2015 18:28

I mean ween not weed, although weed may help with the sleeping.

RPopz · 26/03/2015 18:32

Eek cookie! I don't know if mine has got less bad or if I've just learned to live with it. 7 months is a long time though!

REALLY want a Dominoes but am mindful of the potential arse rain issue...

ZylaB · 26/03/2015 18:34

H is getting weighed again next week, but I'm not stressing any more..after the looks I get when I say it took her 5 weeks t get back to birth weight I may lose my temper if someone comments when weighing her lol. She was slow to get started but always ok in herself!

RPopz · 26/03/2015 18:35

Lol @ syncho shart Furry... Min is weaning early I think?

cookielove · 26/03/2015 19:17

furry do you actually mean wean? Blush

So very tired today, swimming really takes it out of me lol!

FurryScoob · 26/03/2015 19:29

Ooops yes! Left handed typing, predictive text & lack of sleep is not helping my crap spelling. Blush

Minion · 26/03/2015 20:07

Yeah I think we'll start weeding (I'm keeping it) at 17 weeks. Shocking how much milk is in good tho! Never noticed how prolific it is before.

Mine is on a napstrike today. Swaddled her for the first time for her morning nap and she was well away, sadly had to wake her for rhyme time then afterwards she just would only nap lying next to me on the sofa.
So I said sod it and vegged out binging on one upon a time!

Arghhh the but cut! Stings like a bastard when you wee sometimes.

I'm going through the post baby hair shed. I didn't even gain a lot of hair in pregnancy, now it's coming out like a bugger! I'll be bald by morning I'm sure.

willywallace · 26/03/2015 21:12

Did your HV give reasons Furry? Is she just going on her tummy too soon after feeding?

Weaning did help with Miniwil's reflux, think we started about five and a half months with just a little fruit. I personally wouldn't start much before that unless doctors were advising it, especially if being sick isn't bothering her but like anything, read up on it and decide what you think is best. I suppose the main things if you do it early are don't do blw, make sure she can sit up well enough and check for any family history of allergies.

willywallace · 26/03/2015 21:13

Are you having to do dairy free weaning Min?

Minion · 26/03/2015 21:29

Yeah, shouldn't be too bad I think (hope), there's dairy free 'butter' which we may have to use for calories etc.
Quite looking forward to it, got ne a mini munchkin blender and everything

FurryScoob · 26/03/2015 22:11

I have allergys which is what's putting me off starting early, doctors & HV are giving mixed advise about what's best. I've left her milk longer tonight so it's gone thicker which seems to work but I can't always leave it for 45minutes

willywallace · 26/03/2015 23:23

How frustrating, why can't they blooming agree? Go with whoever you have more faith in? I will say it's a pain in the arse having kids with food intolerances/allergies though - sorry Min, sure you'll be fine.

Gross she's just dribbled right down my cleavage.

laurenamium · 27/03/2015 01:35

boo Isaac lost at every weigh in until day 14 and apparently that's normal, especially with breast fed babies. They don't like them to lose more than 10% of their birth weight though

Nessalina · 27/03/2015 02:37

Popz - Your sharting made me lol Grin J is 20 weeks on Monday Shock They are indeed the first teeth!

Min - no, don't always feed after sleep... in the morning sometimes he's had boob at 5am, so when he wakes at 7, he's not hungry, just not sleepy anymore, so I play with him for a bit, dress him, and then he has a nap at about 9am, and I feed him
After that one. Then in the day it just depends on when he naps, but the trend is sometimes eat - nap - play, sometimes play - nap - eat.

Lauren, Boo & Wil - you're doing so well managing with two, I don't know how you do it! I just have J, and DH isn't working, so I have it relatively easy, and it's still hard!! And I'd still love a cleaner Grin

The little darling rolled over for the first time today whilst I was out with my MIL at the bank!! We both missed it! When I got in, DH had him doing tummy time for ages, and then had to confess that he'd sworn everyone else there to silence (BIL, SIL, DNephew & gf!) and was hoping he'd do it again so they could all pretend it was the first time Grin He had to 'fess up when J didn't perform! So that's first laugh AND first roll missed!!

Bednest might hit the dust soon, he keeps trying to roll out of it Blush Not succeeded so far, but some time soon I'm going to get a baby in the face Grin

willywallace · 27/03/2015 03:53

Aw bless J, he's doing so well. So typical you missed the first one after doing all the leg-work Envy .

How's I doing at night Lauren?

We have no night time pattern at all. One night she sleeps six hours, the next three. The only thing I can bet on is that it all goes to shit after a feed. What age did everyone start to get a pattern to their daytime naps?

laurenamium · 27/03/2015 04:52

wil he's not too bad on a night, mostly due to the regimented routine he had in hospital I think! He wakes every 3 hours, has a feed then takes about half an hour to settle back down again...which leaves me 1 and a half to 2 hours sleep time before the next one Grin
