Oh Beans, I'm right there with you, DS has commend violently every few hours since 1.30pm yesterday. Is there a worse part of parenting than the sick cleaning and anticipation of who might fall next?
Kayz, good luck at the hospital today. How are you feeling? Any more anxiety or panic? I'm glad you were able to stay at your mum's for a bit.
ZJ, so sorry to hear about your friend's baby. I hope they are doing OK.
Rubes, nice to see you! It's lovely that you have such an active social life around the school. I've never really bonded with the parents at either DD's school but that's probably because I'm only there on Fridays. At our school the at-home mums aren't so friendly to the working mums which I find really sad as I'm sure we have more in coon than we have that's different. Where's the new home? Can you link???
Jam, how are your move plans going? Did you commission that build.
Lady, it's lovely to hear DD3 is now Rasta I know she was windy for a while. I can't scroll back on my phone so all I remember is that you have exciting holiday plans but I can't remember where you are going! We are off to Crete at Easter then Devon and France in the summer. My more exotic trips are work based at the moment: after a fascinating week in Montserrat in the Carribean in Jan I am returning to Kosovo next month and Geneva/Strasbourg/Brussels/Copenhagen in one trip in April.
Rubes, you asked about the au pair situation. Thankfully the last one left on time and without too much fuss after she miraculously found a new host family who wanted her immediately. We have never heard from her again (yay!). Our new au pair is lovely, tidy and has a passion for cooking so keeps creating feasts for DH and I instead of letting us cook for her as we should. She does have a tendency to walk around semi-naked which DH finds awkward and I find hilarious but even that's reduced since Arthur started grabbing her bum and shouting "hi bum!!!" if it's not properly covered.
