We have a new car. Well picking it up on Thursday. Hopefully it's not a pile of rubbish like the old one.

Ahhh mothers day gifts Jam! I have something fizzy to drink and flowers I suspect. Bottle of bleach would be more handy after the past 24 hours. Still it appears to be passing. Thank the Lord. ..and the vodka!

DD has now succumbed to our vomiting bug. I feel awful but so far no vom. Urgh why are children such germ magnets....

DS2 has now got the shits. When will this end. Tummy bug please do one.

Oh dear, it's so quiet.

Lady Yes dd2 will be going to the same school. Dd1 can't wait to have dd2 there although I think dd2 won't want her big sister hanging around cramping her style! Dd2 is v confident and already has friends who she'll be in reception with.

Has everyone recovered from the sickness bugs? A friend's dc has chicken pox and neither dd has had it so not sure of they'll succumb. I don't want to spend Easter hols inside though!

Has anyone got plans?

We are going to France on 3rd April for a week. Having a day at Disneyland and might pop in to Paris.

I've been waking at 4am every morning for the past 6 weeks. DDs sleep is still pretty rubbish. Going to get strict with her after the holiday.

Its shame to come here and see it so quiet. We're home for the holidays, though I might sneak a day or two, am weary! House of I'll here. DD has caught something which is making her feverish and shivery poor love. DS is fine so far, though being the drama queen that he is, he is none too pleased with his sister getting some attention for a change.

The big thing here is my long awaited promotion finally came through. Anticlimactic in a lot of ways, but has been very nice to hear from all sorts I have worked with and learned from along the way.

Still fiddling about with home improvement. Always feels like you get one thing sorted and move on to next minor crisis. Mice is the latest. And annoyingly broken chair. Boring.

We are over the various sick bugs we've all had. Hooray. DC'S are so tired and ready for a break from school. Although we are off to Disneyland Paris on Monday for 4 nights. Not sure that is going to be overly relaxing!!

My foot is still painful so looks like I'm going to have to take my monstrous boot with me . Bollocks.

Am going to 50% hours from end of May. Two full days and one half day at home each week. I'm so pleased but also a bit scared that I won't know what to do with myself!

Disney was AMAZING! Loved every second. DS was a a trooper on every roller coaster going including the one that did 360 loops I think Kayz is in France now...We flew home the day they went.

It is sad to see the thread so quiet. I guess because we can chat privately on FB it's taken precedent a bit over the thread. Plus it's easy to see on FB when someone has commented.

That should be job share. However if you want to share Jon that would be okay too

The job share sounds fab, Arti. Does that mean you will be staying out west? Still not tempted to our part of the world? Did you sort out the school thing?

Am v jealous of the fab holidays. We have been to my mum's and to my MIL, but neither is up there with Disney or France. Hm, will have to catch up in the next holidays.

Am off to Spain (on my own) in 5 weeks. Am going to have to be super strict til then. Need to be a bit thinner. Will don the trousers of truth on a daily basis and see how they go.

Bollocks I have royally fucked up. Didnt add my credit card to the mortgage app as genuinely just didnt think. (It wasnt asked for last year when we did the application)

Our mortgage application has just been denied because of undisclosed debt. We have immediately paid it off and sent evidence to the mortgage company. But it looks like we wont hear until at least Monday.

Any advice form you all would be much appreciated. God I am such a fool. Why did I not think. It was only £1700

Don't panic, Jammy. You have done the right thing and paid it, together with sending them the evidence. Can you fax them a letter to confirm that this was an oversight and ask them to proceed with the application anyway? IME as long as it's the one thing overlooked (eg not a string of credit cards) and it is immediately remedied, financial institutions are fairly human in their dealings with it. It's a relatively small amount too. I'd just drop them a line, explaining that it wasn't asked for last time and hence you overlooked it but have now settled it. Best of luck. Stay calm XXX

I miss you ladies! Am supine after a too-hot bath and need to sort the girls out but tomorrow is my quiet day (supposed to be working, heaven knows I have enough to do) but hoping to post properly then.
