Hi Jambot,

Good to hear from you, and also read fairly recent messages from Pidge, Leo and LVC.
Hope all your little ones are doing well and are looking forward to their first exciting Xmas! I asked Freay waht she wants for Xmas today, she said she wants a duck! I hope she means a plastic one and not a real one!

Freya has changed so much in the last few months, as I am sure every lo has.
She is now dry day and night, and just like Lauren her speech has come on in leaps and bounds recently. She chats away and is able to tell me what she has done at pre-school (she started in Sept and goes 2 mornings a week).
We go to gymnastics on a Thursday morning, which she adores. We have a running battle when it is time to leave and she runs off across the gym and tries to escape! It is lovely to take her there, Ethan used to go and he loved it too so it is nice to revisit it with Freya.

Tantrums still happen, but I think she may always have a bit of a fiery temperement, and maybe a bit stubborn. DH reckons he is going to leave home when she is a teenager, but I think I will have beaten him to the front door

She still has very little hair, and it makes people think she is a lot younger than she is. They are quite surprised when she starts to chat away.

I wonder how Cristina is getting on, I really can't remember when her baby is due, or have I missed a birth announcement?

Let's all try and update again before Xmas. It is good to hear from you all.

Lol, Jo! We haven't explained christmas to Niklas at all so I think it will come as a big surprise!
Niklas has also developed a huge amount in the last few months. He is now really, truly bilingual and really speaks swiss-german to dh and English (with funny grammar) to me. I am soooooooooooo proud!!!!

He has an amazing imagination, multiple personalities, had to call a fireman because there was a fire upstairs this afternoon, had to chase the ghosts and lions out of his room this evening, and there was a hole in the roof which he had to fix because the rain was coming in!!!! He has also told us he wants to learn to read so I'm trying to teach him letters , but if I tell him its Aa for Apple he wants to know why, so we are not getting very far !

The dts are also doing well, so different to Niklas though. At 6.5 - 7 months Niklas had loads of teeth, was sitting himself up, crawling, pulling ot standing and cruising. These two (at nearly 9 months) have not a sign of a tooth between them, still can't sit themselves up, can get around but not rreally crawly properly and are a long way off from pulling up to standing! They are os amazing though. The really play together. The chase balls around with each other (only interested in one ball even if you give them 2), the chatter away and giggle together. Its really something special to see.

Hope everyone else remembers to drop in and catch us up sometime!

Anyone else still around?

MingMingtheWonderPet · 03/12/2007 12:05

Hello!

Leoladyofleisure · 04/12/2007 09:27

Hi Jo, how are things?

MingMingtheWonderPet · 05/12/2007 20:25

Things are generally very good.
For some unknown reason F will not go to sleep tonight. She is screaming 'Mummy' at the top of her voice at the moment - perhaps she is coming down with something. She will not sleep with me in the room though, so I think I'm gonna have to let her get on with it for a bit. Hopefully she will calm down.

How are your precious trio? Bet N is looking forward to Xmas.
F is adamant that she wants Baby Annabel for Xmas ('the one with the sheep on its tummy, mummy' - just so I know!). Hopefully she won't change her mind on Xmas Eve!
DS is desperate for a Nintendo DS.
We'll have to wait and see what Father Christmas brings.....

Hi All. A belated Happy 2008. Can't believe I am planning Lauren's 3rd birthday party! She is very well. Finally out of nappies and suddenly such a big girl. Drives me crazy with the 500 "whys" and "why nots" every day, but comes out with the most amazing observations and remarks. She is at school 5 mornings a week and loves it.
Have been doing a lot of swimming in our pool this summer and she has become very confident and is nearly swimming on her own now. Far cry from the disastrous swimming lessons I took her to last year, where she just screamed the place down.
Hope all your darling children are well and growing up beautifully.

Happy Birthday to all the March 2005 babes. Lauren had her birthday on the weekend. Lovely party on Sat and then a day out at the beach yesterday. Was over 35 degrees, so the whole of Cape Town was at the beach, but it was great.
Lauren got a doll's house from us which she is thrilled with, although she is already trawling all the little bits all over the house, so we shall see how long it lasts before they go missing. Hope you are all well and that your little people have a lovely birthday month.
