tee hee...feeling better!

Jake is ma-hoosive now, but forgot to take him to be weighed, after crying in the docs at the HV im a bit embarrased, and cos i didnt go to the mum and baby gruop!

Jakes been a good boy, he sleeps from around 10till 7ish which is lovely! have started to do my bottle washing earlier so i go to bed at the same time!

hes 3months old now where has the time gone??

My ex is still living here and getting constant calls/texts from this lass but he is just being blatantly rude, but he does look after jake so i can get some sleep.

Hi girls just a quick one, in between very demanding ds2 crying.

Went to get his casts changed on tuesday only to be told that the right one had slipped again resulting in Logans foot undoing some of the correction. They re casted only for them to slip before we were even out of the room!!!!!

So Logan is now in his boots and bars that basically hold his feet out at a 70 degree angle joined together by a metal bar. He is not happy and keeps pulling his feet out of place and it's a two man job to put them on so I'm having to drive accross town to dhs work so he can help. God I need sleep!!!

It will be worth it in the end I know but it just seems so barbaric. Anyway going out tonight dh can worry for a change.

I'm going to an acupunturist(sp) next week about this jaw tension thing I've got, worth a try

Take care everyone have a good weekend
( I'll stop moaning one day)

Morning!
Kayzed, we stopped the gaviscon because it was a nightmare with the bottle but you can use them both. We didn't noticed any difference since we stopped the gaviscon so hers may be a matter of producing too much acids and therefore ranitidine is better.
I would say try to give only ranitidine for a day and see how it goes..
My chemist is going to have Nanny milk at least until march so I'll start with that today. Fingers crossed!
First..can't believe it! I also want to know your secret>
Humphreys good luck with the laptop today. You must be so crossed!

were now on day 3 of potty training. shes doing well but doesnt ask to go so i have to ask every 10 mins. were still going out as the toilets are a novelty and so far no accidents when were out but weve had 3 in the house. oh and she fell asleep in the car yesterday and weed in her sleep.
ds wouldnt settle at all wed night and every time i laid him down he waved his arms about and woke up so we had 2hrs sleep max. last night was better though he went 8.30, 1.30, 3 and 6 i tried to settle him at 3 with just a cuddle but he wasnt having any of it
ok got to go as ds is crying and even holding him isnt working as hes too restless.

kayzed- were just giving ranitidine, we werent given gaviscon to use.

GetInTheBackOfTheVan - i found that lady who we cant mention weaning book to be v good and helped take the uncertainty out of weaning. i followed the daily guides.

Hi Everyone,

Not been posting but have been keeping up with all of your posts.

I had typed a big long post earlier and now I have lost it and can't remember what I was rambling on about.

I saw HV on Tues. Only 2nd time I have seen one of these people. See asked me to fill in a questionnaire and thinks the reason I feel so poooooooo lately is because she thinks I have PND. NO, No, NO!!! I don't want it to be, cos it seems scary.

Sorry for my rambling, but Abbey seems to be like the rest of our Lovely little babies and does not want to sleep at all during the day. So I am trying to post a quick one before she wakes up and starts screaming the house down again.

I will one day come here and not moan, but be full of loveliness and joy. HONEST!!

HC- I truly hope that your laptop arrives today. People that rip your off are really the scum of the earth.

Bye for now,

Jeanie

HC- I just noticed you said he was in Liverpool
Do You know where about?
I am in Liverpool and will gladly go and collect the laptop on your behalf and post it to you myself

HC- also what is his user name on Ebay cos my DH recently won a tablet PC on ebay from someone in Liverpool. He e-mailed the seller to arrange to collect it and pay cash but the seller has still not been back in touch with him and it was over a week ago.

Hi everyone

{{{{hugs}}}} to all. I think we should moan freely on here whenever we are feeling down, we all understand exactly how each other are feeling. Did your HV have any advice Jeanie? I have perked up a bit but wouldn't be surprised if I'm diagnosed next.

We seem to have a good night or two followed by a couple of bad nights, last night Zack woke every 1 1/2 hours from 1am after going down at 10.30pm A good night is still down at 10 and up twice for feeds. The way I'm feeling really changes depending on how much sleep I get, dp is adamant I'm not getting depressed and all I need is sleep. Maybe true but can't see it changing anytime soon!

I feel like I'm moaning all the time but we really do have some lovely times too! I adore Zack and love our playtimes and quiet snuggly times, I feel like I've painted this picture of a really difficult baby and thats unfair because he's really not. Just bad luck with a bad cold and growth spurts at the same time I'm sure he will settle again.

Fingers crossed for you HC I hate sellers that mess you around.

HC,
he has got good feedback - although only 27 items sold. Tell him you are going to leave negative feedback if you have no computer by tomorrow?

The rain has stopped!!!!!! Yayyy - gonna make a dash for the shops, only one nappy left!

That's right, every time I threathen awful ebay sellers with a negative feedback things magically solve! When we move home five months ago I bet with my dh that I could buy every single thing for the new house on ebay and I did and believe me, the negative feedback thing always work.

tbh as harsh as it sounds your laptop was not high on my list of priorities as I had to start a new job and look after my ill father

Kayzed, i meant that with the Gaviscon the bottle teats were always blocked. Once I tried to upgrade to number 2 but my dd almost choked! Also, dd suffers a little bit from constipation and with Gaviscon she was really really bad, we had to give her a teaspoon of orange juice.
If she has a good day without too much reflux she tends to have long naps in the babybjorn during the day so I dont think the Ranitidine has affected her in that way. Have you tried to put her to sleep in the sling or babybjorn?

nuria · 06/10/2006 20:55

kay, I just remembered about your Tricotti. Doesn't she sleep there?
