Pretty Mummy have you changed into prettymummified? Do you feel like you are 3000 years old?
Your babies are gorgeous. Is the littlie your DS?
What age is he?
There's another poster on this group with a little and a 2 year old called Hotmama, but I think she's collapsed with exhaustion.
Happy birthday to your DDeeee

prettymummified · 17/10/2006 13:00

sorry for not posting regularly, i only joined mumsnet after having ds in july (he's 3 months) so been able to juggle a few threads. ive actually been coping very well with both dc, im lucky to have two good kids!!

theyre both gorgeus arent they!!!

it feels like ds has always been with us all the time and dd took to him well, no jealousy!!

so far its been a quiet day, im not very familiar with other mums in my area and im the only one out of my friends with kids so no party
im going to take a cake down to toddler group tomorrow so they can sing to her!! we're going to have family day today.

lipsbite i'll give you both of them for a day!!

masiemog- im prettymummified for halloween!!

lipsbite · 17/10/2006 13:15

pretty - ok ill have both of them and you can have mine! and see how worn out you are at the end of the time as she is one of them Rabbits with a big fat durcell battery in her back as she never keeps still for more than 2 seconds.. plus she is on the go AAAALLLLL day till i put her to bed for a afternoon nap as thats where she is now - phew!!

Where do u live? as i live in Liverpool (capital culture of liverpool) - i hardly recognise liverpool anymore as its building new buildings all teh time, changed the structure plan of the roads, new railway station - its massive as looking like an airport!...blah!!

ive got a SD who is 7 and she is ssoooo easy peasy. ive known her since she was my DD's age and she lives with her mum. where my DD is completely the opposite as she is a very boisterious, hyper, energetic, nutty child who is so full of confidence and im trying to keep up!!! . ive got a Fiance too and own a house!

oh and im also aa SAHM too

i was just thinking that i havent got any OCT 04 email addresses.....Here is mine everyone..... [email protected]

ta la!

i live in london with dp and our dd and ds. im 21 years old and the only one with kids out of my friends so get lonely at times as most are away at uni or working alot!

i work part time in boots but on maternity leave till january.

lipsbite i added you to my msn, if anyone wants to add me mine is [email protected].

anyway better go and start dinner whilst both dc nap!

maisiemog · 19/10/2006 23:31

I'm such a hasbeen. Is MSN the chat thingy? I never use that, but my DP does. Is it good?
Alfie is a cheeky cheeky boy. He watched me put half a pack of those lovely new caramel digestives up in the kitchen cupboard then ran back through, dragged the chair over and when I got to the kitchen he was standing up on the worksurface, with the cupboard open, chewing a hole in the side of the packet. He's a fast worker too, because I ran through as soon as I heard the chair dragging noise.
He's a little lamb though. Whose birthday is next then?
When is Toby's birthday Jbad?

prettymummified · 20/10/2006 11:05

with msn messanger you can chat to others who are online, yeah its good, you can be chatting to friends whilst doing other things!!

lol at alfie!! does he do that a lot? shinead hasnt learnt to do that yet thankgod!! but she knows which cupboard holds all the junk so she'll stand below it and demand food from there!!

shes been throwing up since the early hours of this morning!! she isnt ill or anything, maybe an upset stomach? shes still her lively self!

i watched ring 2 last night, i have to admit i found really scaRY!!it was really good!!!

lipsbite · 20/10/2006 17:40

pretty - aahhh! i wondered who was that person was on my msn - ill have a chat with you l8ter, and ive got The Ring - first one - ive only watched it once and i was terrified after watching that 2 years ago!!! - i thought Never again!!!!!!!....now Grudge 2 is due on at the cinema (gulp!!!) .. also what did she have at that time when she threw up? as mine threw all the bedtime milk back up and carried on sleeping in it!! till i went up and her bedroom smelled off..i think she couldnt be "bovvered" to cry out as she was knackered on that night too. i took her out of the cot onto the floor with blankets and she just curled up in it - im sure she was asleep all thru it!

lol at alfie - hes very quick isnt he?..wondered where he learnt that??

maisiemog · 21/10/2006 01:39

Oh dear, hugs to all the sicky babies. I hope they are all alright on Saturday.
Do your LOs do this. I take Alfie to bed and he keeps saying 'poop' until I let him out for the potty where he does a peepee - no poop. Then I refuse to let him go for 'poop' again. So he starts saying 'daddy' daddeeee'. So DP goes in and guess what he starts calling 'mumeee mummeeee'.
Basically anything so that he can stay up later.
They start to get a bit craftier at this age don't they? Hmmm!

maisiemog · 21/10/2006 01:44

Has anyone seen 'Barnyard' I was thinking about taking Alfie next week in the morning. Under Twos go free at my local cinema, and I reckon Alfie will pass for under two for the next six months.
I want to take him to something that he won't get too bored with. I thought he would have looovvvedd 'Cars' but I went with DP and it had quite a few long 'deep' bits which I think he would have found quite tedious.

prettymummified · 22/10/2006 10:49

lipsbite- you have to watch ring 2!! it seems like theres a bug going round! after shinead, dp and ds were throwing up yesterday and i later in the evening and this morning!!!

i did a pregnancy test yest and it was negative thankgod, and started first period this morning since having ds!!

me take shinead to movies, id be crazy!! shed rather run away than sit down in one place!! if i take her for a walk and sees other children, she tries to go off with them!!!

better go and tidy up a bit before it becomes too messy!! chat soon

geogteach · 22/10/2006 13:40

This morning babygeog has excelled himself. He called 999, first I knew was when the police called to ask if everything was ok

maisiemog · 23/10/2006 23:59

OMG Geog! That's so embarrassing.
I know EXACTLY how you feel because ages ago, I managed to dial 999 when I was cleaning the phone, and they came round. EEEK!
They said they didn't really think it was an emergency, but they do have to check, just in case a child has dialled for help or something.
What is it with phones and babies. Alfie has killed one of DP's mobiles and seriously impaired another.
PM I don't really know how Alfie would react to a film, but I was thinking if I took him to the first showing and he wanted to run about, it wouldn't be very busy, or there might be other little kids, so it wouldn't matter. I can always leave if he gets really silly.

maisiemog · 26/10/2006 09:01

Alfie is going to be two next Tuesday, but I might just get the grandparents and the small number of friends with children that we know, to meet us on Saturday.
I hardly know anyone with children, I suppose I should go to a mums group thing, but I can't be bothered.
It's wet isn't it!!! I got soaked last night pushing Alfie (all wrapped up and covered-up) to and from the shopping centre (forgot my purse so no bus, DP had car). On the way back I realised that Alfie was peering out of the window on the pram hood. I though 'AAAAH! He's looking at me, because he is wondering where I am' then I realised he was frowning and saying 'No! No! No! No!
Bless!
I had better go, he is bringing me ALL his toys to look at whilst I am on the computer.
Does anyone have a toddler routine? I was looking for toddler sleep requirements and I found some scary routines. It said if I didn't have one Alfie would become grumpy and stuff.
Can't say I've noticed him giving a tuppence for having his biscuit at 10:30. 'Mummy! Where's my biscuit!? It's ten thirty one!!'

jbadgirl · 27/10/2006 21:45

Hello all, big birthday wishes to everyone especially if your 2!!!! Tobys bday was on the 19th the day after dh! Busy month/week. Funnily enough toby was born on the anniversary of my mum passing away, how weird is that as he was a month early (through induction though). Work is going very well as im the manager of a day nursery!! Looking into starting up a baby unit as we only take 2-5 years olds atm.

Ds is getting his third tooth through.... a top front one!! The other one will be next im sure.

Have pead appointment on monday and we may find out the results of his last eeg (done in august!) Wont hold my breath though.

Been trying to arrange our flu jabs but of course the LOVELY accomodationg receptionists at the surgery are being sooooo helpful NOT..

Dh has been ripping down our garden shed to move it and get a new one, will give us more space and at least he is kept busy as he lost his job last week. His employers wanted to demote him and cut his wage as they arent doing very well. He could have accepted but he was lloking elsewhere anyway.

Enough gabbling from me x x

jbadgirl · 27/10/2006 21:46

Ps I managed to make Tobs a "dippy dinosaur" cake for his party!

Very proud of myself will try to post a pic!!

Happy birthday Alfie for tomorrow!

lipsbite · 30/10/2006 21:57

hello everyone

seems abit quiet on here lately..hope u are all ok? my dd is fine but was a horror this morning as i made her a lovely bowl of porridge as i asked her if she wants brekkie and she said "Yes, pls", i gave it to her in her highchair and she just blankly threw it on the floor like a 8 mths old child!!..i was shocked and i didnt say a word but she bursted out sobbing!!...then she bit my arm and then i took forever trying to get her dressed!! grr!

she did looked knackered this morning as we went out last saturday to teh Blue Planet Aquarium for the day but it takes my dd a week to recover!!!!! -

apart from this - she had been an angel!!

cazzybabs · 30/10/2006 22:04

Oh god Grace is an madam too when she doesn't get her own way - this is especially true for getting dressed/undressed - all has to be Grace!

But all is forgiven when she says "mummy big duddle".

lipsbite · 30/10/2006 22:07

cazzy - yeah thats true as my DD say a long "ssssoooooooorrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeee" and she ask for a "Cuggle"

maisiemog · 31/10/2006 18:15

I have posted on Jbad's Dippy Dinosaur thread by accident. What's wrong with me!?!?!
Anyway, he's two. Hasn't got a clue! We have had a really busy weekend with him, been to visit both sets of grandparents and he'a had quite a lot of being driven about and not enough sleep (especially with the clocks changing and ROCK hard guest beds).
I think by this morning Alfie would have been quite content to stay in the house, with no clothes on, playing with his train set and toy clock (present).
However, we had arranged to meet one set of grandparents for lunch (which he didn't want to sit through in the slightest) and then go on to another set of grandparents, which he has foiled by falling asleep like a corpse and refusing to wake up. So I think they are coming to us for a little while later. Good!
I totally relate to the ages dressing thing and the throwing stuff and being generally a bit difficult. Where is my lovely boy - he is still a little sweetie, but he's really asserting himself.
Oh and he chipped about a quarter of his tooth off. Did I already say that. (confused face)
I think it hurts a bit. Has this happened to anyone else. What does the dentist do for this type of thing - bearing in mind that Alfie refuses to let anyone touch his mouth/teeth?
Oh and HAPPY BIRTHDAY ISLA!!! Other Halloween baby.
Hip hip hipppyyyy!!!

lipsbite · 31/10/2006 18:30

HAPPY BDAY ALFIE !!

(about the tooth, it should be ok unless he really banged it like my dd did!! it slowly coming back down now - im still praying that she had her tooth back!!)

lipsbite · 31/10/2006 18:31

and also HAPPY BIRTHDAY ISLA xxxx
