Oh and Grace's pressie did arrive in time, but I had to get my dad to drive to the depot as I was at work when it was delivered. the traffic on the A14 was terrible - they were supposed to arrive at 11 (the depot closed at 12.30) arrived at 12 and the traffic in Cambridge being so bad we arrived at the depot at 12.25! So she had her pressie - JUST!

cazzybabs · 08/10/2006 21:18

I am still bf Grace just in the morning and the eveing (and strangly quite alot today). I do want to give up - although it is the morning feed I miss, all sleepy and cuddly in bed. But Grace seems to not want to either.

lipsbite · 09/10/2006 20:15

cazzy - phew just in TIME!!!! i bet you were panicking...what did you buy anyway? and youre still BF...ooh i couldnt imagine me BF that far! (i only did it for the first 2 days till i was in agony!!) well done x

wweeelllll my little madam had climbed out of her cotbed for the first time as couple weeks ago i caught her dangling from her cotbed..ive warned her about in the morning but lucky she cant reach the door handle as its very high up

so whos next??

geogteach · 12/10/2006 19:34

Babygeog is on Monday

maisiemog · 13/10/2006 22:24

Cazzy, Grace is sooooo cute. She's such a tot, how tall is she? She looks the same size as Alfie. You can see she's a smart little cookie with the remote control, she seems to be concentrating on everything. Is she quite serious, she has a serious expression a lot of the time?
Now I want a little girl.
Alfie has started to say no no no no no all day long. It's awful.
It's funny how they come out with gingery hair, even if you have black hair.
What are you doing for LittleGeog, BigGeog?
Alfie has totally seen his trainset, so that won't be a surprise, but I want to get him a cabbagepatch doll. They have them on Ebay for a few quid?
I always wanted one, and they have such daft faces.
I did see birthnight, but actually thought it was a bit of a let-down, they really wanted to have 'birth-day' so that they could actually get a few live births. It ended up being a load of documentary type pieces, apart from that woman with the section.
Did you see those four girls, how cuuuute!
What about the woman with the two boys - they were such ugly babies it was hilarious. I mean ugly in a cute baby (cabbage patch) way.

lipsbite · 14/10/2006 10:34

maisie - to let u know youre not alone as mine is always saying No No No No and she even end up yelling at me and her face be bright red till i give her a warning if she carry on shouting im taking her to bed, so she suddenly changed her tune and whispered "no" ....

lipsbite · 14/10/2006 10:35

maisie - i did see all the 4 girls that were born and they are ssoooo cute..

i want a boy

lipsbite · 14/10/2006 10:37

how many are you all going to have (kids) ? as im sticking to 2 as ive always wanted 2 amd no more even though im ssooo broody but dont want to start trying for another one till dd is 3+ but will i stick to 2...does it actually work??

SOULGHOUL · 14/10/2006 10:55

Ahh the twos arent so bad...congrats.

Unfortunately then followed by the tantrummy threes, the foul fours, the fighting fives.....

maisiemog · 14/10/2006 16:41

Yes it's all downhill from here!
I would like two as well, it would be nice to have a girl, but I would be just as happy with a boy now, seeing as Alfie is so nice.
Having said that, he bit me today. He was mucking around with our hifi equipment and got in a strop with the tapedeck, breaking a bit of plastic. He then popped it in his mouth, I'm sure partially to hide it from me. So I gave chase and tried to fish it out, and he bit me so hard that my finger started to bleed a bit.
I told him I was very sad and that it was very bad to bite people and hurt them - you should have seen his face: very very sad, and he started crying. He was very tired.
I'll be a lot more careful where I put my fingers next time.

KathH · 15/10/2006 09:40

gold star for me please - started my Crimbo shopping yesterday!

geogteach · 15/10/2006 20:15

Babygeog is 2 tommorrow but he had his family bash today. He has plenty of bob the builder paraphanalia and bits for the train set and loads of presents left for tomorrow. He was very impressed with his choclate cake. He is increadably vocal and currently likes to lay the blame 'daddy did it', 'Alex did it' or if its something he's proud of 'I did it mummy'.He is obsessed with switching the oven on at the moment which is a phase I hope he grows out of soon.

maisiemog · 16/10/2006 00:18

lipsbite · 16/10/2006 21:58

whos next? (bday list)

well good news that DD's tooth is mega slowly coming back down but its abit twisted! so wondered if it will straightened back out again??

DD loves singing "Happy Birthday to you!" as she is forever going to all these parties (As we went to a first bday party yesterday) and she sang very loudly - aawwww! so proud!

maisiemog · 17/10/2006 00:31

Alfie isn't until 31st Wooohoooo! I want him to go Guising, which is an old Scottish thingy where you get all dressed up and go round houses performing in return for a reward. Unlike the yucky US trick or treat, where you get dressed up etc.. and perform in return for not tipping paint on the person's car or some other ghastly horribleness.
I feel as if I have already posted this, but if I have please just nod, and say 'mmmm' so I don't feel too dizzy.
I reckon the minute the person opens their door Alfie will run up their hall and start empyting their kitchen cupboards. Does this sound familiar at all?
I'm glad to hear that Tweenie's tooth is coming back down, that sounds a lot nicer than the alternatives. I'm sending vibes to make it descend fasterrrrrr {{{{{{vibes}}}}}{{{{descend!!!}}}}}}

Today Alfie had lost all of the shapes from his shape sorter thing, so he had to tell DP what the empty shapes were instead. He was pointing at where the house shape went and saying 'arse' (house in Alfieish)etc... I must find the shapes for him.
Has anyone had a card read out on Cbeebies??
I am making one, but I think it's going to be too late, so I thought I might send it in for his 'official' birthdate of November 18th. Alfie wouldn't know the difference.
Are there any top tips for getting a card read out?
