hiya everyone.

did i tell ya that tweenie will be starting her preschool in october .....she so cant wait to make "friends". Everywhere we go, she shout out "MUM, THESE ARE MY FRIENDS!" Awww bless her.

And its very cute when i listen to my niece and tweenie having a conversation together (niece is 6m younger than tweenie) its ssooooo cute!

Well as its been gorgeous all this week....ive asked twice to tweenie for her to not to wear her pull ups or knickers (As she wear knickers over her pullups) whilst she is outside in the back, her face just dropped and said "No....pullups mummy!"

sorry to hear about your friend Kathh {{{{{hugs}}}}. Hope everything is going ok at home? Jbad...wow things are moving fast now arent they?... Cazzy - when i was expecting tweenie - i didnt know if i was having a boy or girl...i had a arm length of girls names and only one boy name that matched my partners name - it was Callum. cudnt think of any other!! maisie - did it look like a hose went off when he shook it! aww bless him!

maisiemog · 17/06/2007 23:14

Hi all,
I'm on holiday!! It's great, but we have just got back from week one and are about to depart again to the grandparents home for a few days.
I'll update my photos when I get back - so you can see that Alfie is now 6 feet tall with a beard.
Hope everyone is OK.

Biglips · 18/06/2007 22:03

im here too....on and off as im on myspace alot now. Well Tweenie can hold a brilliant convo with me now as i asked her yesterday if i can have abit of her drink and she replied "No Mum, its too tarty for you" lol!! (As earlier on that day she overheard me and Dp talking about the Grapefruit juice that i bought and it was VERY tarty!!)...hhmmm she doesnt miss a thing!!

Been to the playgroup and came home covered in gold glitter (as usual!) as Tweenie made a twinkle twinkle little star (about 20 of it!!) dunno where to put them but prob in her bedroom dangling off the high ceiling that weve got)

how is evryone getting on with the potty/toilet training? as mine is more on than off!

OP posts:
Biglips · 18/06/2007 22:04

ive put a few more on mine x

OP posts:
geogteach · 20/06/2007 19:37

Toilet training definately more off than on here. Geog is obsessed with his lunar Jim pants but clueless about the toilet or potty. He starts pre school in September and I really want him dry then.

maisiemog · 23/06/2007 15:13

Hi all, I'm back from my holidays now, so I'll get those piccies sorted out.
I'm on DP's PC - and he wants it back. Just wanted to say hi.

Biglips · 26/06/2007 21:34

well since last friday..Tweenie had not been wearing her pullups after weeks of me asking her not to wear them. Hooray!!....she only had one accident as she forgot she only had her knickers on...but when we go out she have her pull ups and bedtime is her nappy on

Moley went with childminder to look round playschool where he starts after the summer, dd2 had an induction day at High School where she goes after the summer hols & dd1 went to look round her new school (not quite sure what its techincal name is - where they go to do their GCSE's from 14 -16). All my babies are growed up

geogteach · 05/07/2007 20:29

Hi all
I would just watch the stammer for now cazzy DD had one at this age but grew out of it, they all have so much to say they just can't get it out in time
Geog is gutted that he is not getting uniform (DD is starting school in sept) I had to let him have a Bob puzzle from the charity shop in consulation. I took him to London to see Bob live at the science museum last week he was a bit over awed to be honest, but he loved going to play in the kids bit later.

Biglips · 14/07/2007 09:38

yes cazzy ...ill keep an eye on it for now if i were you. How long had she has this stammer for now?

Poor Tweenie got chicken pox!

OP posts:
maisiemog · 16/07/2007 22:44

Hiiiiii! Biglips!! Poor Tweenie.
Aaaah!
Has she got itchy bumps or is she OK?
Alfie had it a while ago, I think he was about 20 months, he was a bit under the weather before the spots came out, but was fine once they appeared. I did take him to the doctors and he reckoned it isn't particularly bad for young children, compared with older chidren and adults.
You have to be careful that she doesn't come into contact with anyone who is pregnant who hasn't had chicken pox because if they contract it the foetus can be harmed. I was totally paranoid when Alfie had it. Plus adults who haven't had it can develop shingles, which is pretty bad for them.
Basically, I think you have to really limit who she has contact with, just to be on the safe side.
I still haven't sorted out the piccies for my profile, I'll do that just now.
So rubbish.
I hope Tweenie is well again soon and has no itchy bits.

Biglips · 16/07/2007 23:19

hiya maisie - Yes she had got some itchy ones, one on each side of her body and esp loads on her head.....she had came out more today and got massive blisters but she had been off on her foods - even chocs!! - since Friday but managed to eat a small bowlful of food that she ate hooray!.

Hope youre doing ok with Alfie? Have u been busy??

Have some bad news...Toby died yesterday whilst we were on holiday without him. We came back as soon as we could. He was staying at respite and had eaten his breakfast, was a little sick (but nothing unusual), he then had a big convulsion and his heart stopped which they were unable to start again. Still dont know why as the coroner may investigate more. Got home at 11 last night from Ibiza. Will go and see him today sleeping peacefully.
Just wanted to let you guys know.

Biglips · 02/08/2007 08:36
