jaampire · 11/10/2006 07:18

Hey there Stopppin!! Can you hear the thunder and lightening here? Just waiting for it to wake up DD1.
Had a fab day at the farm yesterday for A's birthday. Think she was suitably entertained. Thanks for all the goos wishes. Now just need to sort out the party on Sunday.
Sending D sleeping vibes, mummyhill...ooooh there goes the lightning and I've got to drive to Tamworth this morning...
(BTW mummyhill- your "song" made me cry! [soppy emoticon]

mummyscaryhouseonthehill · 11/10/2006 09:49

mummyscaryhouseonthehill · 11/10/2006 09:51

D's got his pcv today poor love will hate me.

WereWABBITT · 11/10/2006 12:50

Hope D's ok with his vaccination... reports on how he's doing afterwards will be welcome - C's going for his next week (as long as I can get him booked in)

Hello to all

So, no sleep again MH?

C was much better last night

Simplyred · 11/10/2006 14:05

Hello all!

mummyscaryhouseonthehill · 11/10/2006 14:17

Hi all D was ok having the jabs at 11.30 this morning. Has started to get a bit grizzly now as he is overdue a sleep. Have given him a shot of calpol and will keep an eye on him just in case but he seems to be ok at the moment.

He has his MMR on the 1st and I am more worried about that as N had a bit of a reaction to that one.

Simplyred · 11/10/2006 19:57

Hello!

Rachel was due her mmr last week - but I cancelled it - I must rebook it. Dh took ds for his mmr as I was really upset by all that was in the papers at the time - but ds was fine.

WereWABBITT · 11/10/2006 22:20

Oh yes, the MMR - Ex P is adamant that we go for the single dose option [rolling eyes emoticon] His boy's potential mental 'un-health' will be far more affected by his actions so far, than administering a multiple vaccine! (doh)

Hope people have good nights sleep xxx

mummyscaryhouseonthehill · 12/10/2006 00:18

Just got in from work. D has been an angel all night and is sleeping well so no nasty side effects so far!!

mummyscaryhouseonthehill · 12/10/2006 09:34

He slept straight through for the first time in weeks and is really pleasant this morning.

mummyscaryhouseonthehill · 12/10/2006 12:46

Just had blood taken to check thyroid levels again. Am going to make leek and potato soup for lunch then take d to baby clininc and get him weighed.

Simplyred · 12/10/2006 13:22

Hello!

Glad D is all good and sleeping so well after his injection.

Hope thyroid will be ok Mummyhill - I need to get my yearly check booked.

mummyscaryhouseonthehill · 12/10/2006 17:03

Thyroid results will be back tuesday. Fingers crossed that they don't have to change the dosage again.

D weighed in a t 29.2 lbs and is 81 cm tall. Hv is pleased with his progress.

IdrisTheDragon · 12/10/2006 21:06

hello

Been on courses at work and went out last night (to the cinema with 10 other mummy friends) so am worn out .

Currently snuggled up on the sofa in my pyjamas and with the duvet. May let DH in with me soon.

Have booked Alice's PCV jab for 14th November. She'll be having MMR when she's about 15 months - when I told the surgery they said they'd send me a reminder nearer the time (it is likely I would forget ).

IdrisTheDragon · 12/10/2006 21:07

NO idea how much Alice weighs - she was about 20lb a while ago. DS was 30lb at the same time - so there's probably not much difference between him and David .

WereWABBITT · 12/10/2006 21:32

Just about to go out - Woo Hooo

Not sure why I get so excited - just a bit of a change

well done D for sleeping through hope he does again tonight MH

Have a good night all

Mamama - I've yet to reply properly - only had seconds to spare for the Pooter these last few days... will reply xxx

Simplyred · 12/10/2006 22:18

Going out Wabbitt? - been out Idris!

I'm going out for dinner with 5 friends tomorrow!!

mamamaaargh · 13/10/2006 01:19

Hi Ladies

There seems to be lots of going out happening over there. Lucky you

Glad to hear d slept through, Mummyhill - maybe he could send good sleeping vibes to my ds - he's still waking up 3 times a night . Sounds like he's a bit scrawny compared to all your healthy babies - he's been so small at times, he's been off the charts - he's back on now though at just under 19lbs, yay!

Idris, what movie did you see? I haven't been to the cinema in aaages . In fact, have no idea what the last film I saw was!

Freezing over here and feeling a bit guilty because ds doesn't have any winter clothes yet did not expect SNOW in October! Must go shopping!

mummyscaryhouseonthehill · 13/10/2006 07:32

Morning all. He eventually settled at 11 last night and was up again at 6.

Wish I could stay in bed today. Not usually superstisious (sp) but have my disciplinary at work tonight. FIL is havigng an asasment with dr and psych nurses as he refused to go in to see them yesterday. All in all doesn't look like being a good day.

jaampire · 13/10/2006 08:23

Very at all of you going out! Mummyhill - if today goes badly you can always blame it on the date - tomorrow is the 14th!! Hope your disciplinary - what's that for if you don'e mind me asking - goes ok and at least FIL will get the help he needs. At least D isn't up all night!
mamama - I've not been to the cinema in yonks either! Enjoy the snow
Enjoy your meal out, SR!
I have no idea how much A weighs. Don't even have any idea ow much I weigh!!!!
Off to see the HMRC enquiry office this pm over flaming tax credits...not fun. DO you thin kthey'll mind if I bring DDs with me?????

Simplyred · 13/10/2006 12:35

Best wishes Mummyhill.

Snow Mama!

Good luck with the tax credits Jaamy.

WereWABBITT · 13/10/2006 12:44

Helloooo - I'm supposed to be working on an essay, but instead i'm here procrastinating and trying to divert my mind. ExP's taken C to see his dada (Grandpa) for a few hours - i hate it - I hate it - I hate it

Last night was fun - well, the return home in a posse of equally 'merry' friends was quite hilarious (and very noisy

Will get on with researching this essay now.

mummyscaryhouseonthehill · 13/10/2006 13:04

It's all over absence levels apparently you aren't allowed to be sick any more.

mamamaaargh · 13/10/2006 16:10

Oh, Mummyhill, hope everything goes well tonight.

Jaampire, good luck with the tax credits. I suppose that's something I'll have to work out when I get back - I have no idea how all these things work. It all seems very complicated!

Ds has his first outing with his Daddy away from me this weekend - usually H visits ds at home (where I feel like I can supervise from a distance ) and I'm very scared. No idea why...

The snow has all gone now but its freezing .

Well, ds has rediscovered the joys of pulling the books off the shelves, so I suppose I should go and put a stop to it!
