I think we've managed 5 or 6 child free nights out since j was born - including the night I was in labour with Lilla! Smile Rock and roll! But then our babysitter is a single mum so it has to fit with her child free time and I don't want to dump kids on her too often when she's getting a break.

Wanda I'm with you on the missing Mum thing Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks . More so she could meet my kids as help me out. I do feel they've really been robbed as she was such an affectionate, gentle, creative / let's make things / let's go and explore the great outdoors kinda Mum - she'd have been such a lovely Grandma.

The 3 week old has a snotty cold from her brother Sad Is there anything I can do to help or will it just blow over?

Pikz · 16/10/2014 08:07

Take her in the bathroom when you shower YW

Am feeling a bit murderous.

Had a entirely shite week at work and we roll into cycle 11 of trying for number two. Have had a little weep and now for a day with my awesome little boy.

MsJupiter · 16/10/2014 08:11

Pikz I know how that feels. SadThanks to you

YellowWellies · 16/10/2014 08:46

Pikz, Jupiter sorry for newborn chat - thoughtless of me Sad . Fingers crossed for you xx

PetiteRaleuse · 16/10/2014 08:59

yw have her sleep at an angle head up, you can also get the saline nose spray and use that to clear out her nose, with a snot sucker if you have one. If you don't you just turn her on her side, squirt up the top nostril and let it flow out the other side, and repeat on the other side. It's perfectly safe for new borns and might help her feel more comfortable. Might also help prevent it from developing into anything nasty. Happy memories of de-snotting babies.... Also steam and you all know how much I love my humidifer...

RSA outbreak here at the moment - I am assuming this is why DD1 has such a shitty cough and why I am so ill. It had better fuck off by Saturday.

Pikz and Jupiter I am so sorry it must seem like everyone is either having a baby or getting knocked up. Took ages and ages for me to have a successful pregnancy, Well over a couple of years, though we had to have a break while my back was healing. It was very hard for DH in particular as he was just gutted every single month. I remember back then pretty much everyone I saw in the street was pregnant or carrying a baby round. It really sucks Flowers

Right, I am off to secret santa, ho ho ho. I will be sending the messages out by FB to everyone I can.

Lily311 · 16/10/2014 09:02

I'm murderous too. Let's kill it.

Lily311 · 16/10/2014 09:03

Hugs pikz and jupiter, it took us 3 years to conceive O and pretty much having a chance for a second child currently is 0. And yes, everyone is pregnant. Or had babies. But than we are lucky to have our November babies I say.

Lily311 · 16/10/2014 09:03

And ho-ho-ho for secret Santa!!

isles7 · 16/10/2014 09:05

Sorry for whinging about my mum. Equally thoughtless of me Sad

Passmethecrisps · 16/10/2014 09:23

Can I offer [cuppa] and Flowers and Cake all round?

I would give you all a big kiss and hug but I have a cold sore and lurgy offers a self indulgent whinge

Elizadoesdolittle · 16/10/2014 09:26

pikz and jj Thanks and wanda and yw Thanks

In fact fuck it, Thanks Wine Brew for everyone.

We all have our various problems, ups and downs, life issues to deal with. But equally we are all awesome and here to share and offload and hopefully make each other feel a hell of a lot better.

Off to get E weighed this morning. She hasn't been weighed for 2 months, the longest gap she's gone for.

Pikz · 16/10/2014 10:13

YW never apologise please. As Eliza said we've all had our challenges in different ways. We are here to support each other with all of them.

Massive hugs Jupiter Thanks

Now let's murder this thread! Stab stab stab

Lily311 · 16/10/2014 10:24

Stab from Hungary!

Lily311 · 16/10/2014 10:25

I do study as well. But murdering a thread is very important.

Lily311 · 16/10/2014 10:25

Actually I could just bore the thread with my study material. I certainly feel like dying just by reading it.

Lily311 · 16/10/2014 10:26

Or I could hit the thread with my books. They are heavy.

Lily311 · 16/10/2014 10:26

Or let's just stab the thing.

Lily311 · 16/10/2014 10:27

Anyone joining me?

Lily311 · 16/10/2014 10:27

No one?

Lily311 · 16/10/2014 10:27

O is obsessed with horsey horsey don't you stop, listening to it over and over again. It's a slow death.

PetiteRaleuse · 16/10/2014 10:38
Lily311 · 16/10/2014 10:47

Stab faster pr

Lily311 · 16/10/2014 10:48

This thread would look much better on the other side

Lily311 · 16/10/2014 10:49

Oh, just read the new title. I need a Halloween costume for O. She might be dressed up as a ghost.
