At last!! Hello girls..Have missed you all..
..Since we reinstalled windows i've had trouble posting my messages. I get onto MN okay but everytime I click 'post message' it gives the message that the page can't be displayed. I even copied and pasted my posts after my last wasted epic but have had no luck from this PC - managed to get onto MN from mum's laptop but was no longer with me by the time i had a chance to post again - have missed you all and your news and I'm sorry i've missed yet another b'day - Happy Birthday Thomas!!!
Nice to hear GG and Beks have finally met - I know you were looking forward to it earlier this year. Diege - weekend sounds fabulous, what a lovely break. What about your work situation, I skimmed through what i could but am a bit lost - have you left work or in the process of doing so? Hope it all goes well.
Londoner - Hi!!! Thanks for thinking of me, I read your messages the other day, it was so frustrating being unable to post. We are all pretty well, DH, Z and I have a bit of a bug but are getting better. LO has been quite sick and has had some bad bouts of diarrhea but seems to be on the mend - is a good excuse for cuddles and plenty of one to one play time but needless to say I need the same by the end of the day! Last scan was great, blood tests - i braved them and was fine and am about 24 weeks now - sickness much better just finding the movements so strange having had them so much later with DS. What about you and yours? DS have a great time in France? 14 eh? Awww...
How's E? I do the same with fingernails btw.
Being a SAHM is very challenging, keeping on top of it all is an art! I take DS to three activities a week, the drop in centre being my favourite as i can actually sit down with other mums and have lunch/tea etc.. and watch the LO get busy without the usual 'no - dirty- dangerous- no!' banter. Our routine is going well but it really is a long day - i know this will all change again soon but so far at least we are managing cooked meals, clean clothes and plenty of playtime.
Working from home isn't happening at the moment, i did my last job a month or so ago and since then have been feeling the pinch - how do you all cope with your finances when only one of you is earning a wage? I have no benefits and as far as i know am not entitled to any. I also go rid of store/credit cards before DS came along - silly me!!
DS has come along way in the last couple of months and is very, very cuddly right now - there is nothing more precious to me than those chubby little arms going round my neck - unconditional love eh? It's great. Still cruises along, gets hurt, does it again, gets hurt and so on, my well preserved collections of books need to find a new home as shelving no longer appropriate, keep finding all my books on floor having either been part destroyed or run over by fierce walker. Stands behind stair gate shaking it like a wronged prisoner, spits out food in disgust shaking head, loves it when the plug comes out after bath and doesn't want to get out - the list goes on so in fear of boring you all will close here and once again, missed you all heaps, so glad to be able to post again.
Love to Rodeo, Nova, L&S, Brownie and anyone else I didn't mention but thought of. x
