Housework???? Sorry, will need to explain that to me
AH!!!! mine is called Ania and she comes over on a Monday....lol

eenywifemum · 11/10/2006 21:57

Melsy dont worry about your email at all it was lovely. Thank you.

I am better today again, it is just UP and DOWN at the moment. I keep saying having Alex is like the most intense love affair.

Well I just bought 2 dvds off ebay, a Claire Sweeney workout one and a Carmen Electra STRIPTEASE aerobics workout!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How about that? Sal will think he has died and gone to heaven! I want to shift some pounds and thought it would be a fun way to do it.

Hope you are all well, lots of love

ScreamandYellowFeathers · 11/10/2006 22:15

Eeny, lol at the Carmen Electra dvd
Lucky Sal Glad to hear things are brighter now with Alex. You've gone 2 thirds of the way with the Colic so just think not long now before it weans away.

I've got this one
Its really good as it builds up your exercise times and has 3 different levels for you to work up to. Would recommend it.

Mels, I know we've chatted this eve but I'm sure you'd look lovely in a black bin bag. Dont get down about it
I'm showing off my paunch with style
I remember going on a night out when dd was 6 weeks old. Some arse of a man (wouldn't you know it) made a horrid comment about my figure. Soon shut up when I told him I'd just had a baby and I'd like to see him give birth via his penis and look as good as what I did 6 weeks after!

Not much to report here other than the windows didn't get done due to us having a set of real fairies for window fitters and wouldn't put them in because it was drizzling. FFS. So they're coming back at the weekend to do it. They'll also be getting my central heating bill for leaving gaps around the door and window they fitted last week and us having to have the heating on full whack.

PinkTulips · 11/10/2006 23:43

noooooooooo, don't start talking about excercise please, i'm depressed enough about my buddha belly without you lot getting all thin and gorgeous on me.

lucky sal eeny, must be a good incentive to actaully do the excercise if you can have fun with him doing it.

lol at your useless window men feathers, i'd have heldt ehm hostage til they did it!

Hey I never said I was exercising! Just because I've got a dvd doesn't mean I'll be using it.
Eeny obviosuly wants to have a bit of fun. Good on ya gal

Well I survived my first night on my own last night! Can't say it was the most pleasant experience of my life but I've got to do it at some point.

Ellis must be having a growth spurt atm cos he's woke at 4am the last 2 mornings. Having said that he's not settled after feeding and thrown up both days now so I hope it passes quickly and he goes till 6am again!

Has anyone heard from Dreamy? I have got her number but don't want to pester her. I'll send an email if shes not been in touch with anyone just to let her know we're thinking of her.

SnowFrightBoooooo · 12/10/2006 10:14

Well dh survived coming home late from the pub pi**ed! Was gonna lock him out and make him sleep in the car but i just couldn't be arsed...

He paid for it this morn thou. Ds1 decided to get up and pester him with his manic ways thats ma boy!!!

Exercise? Oh maybe i should think about that....Or not. Haven't enough time in the day to fit anything else in!! Can i invent another couple of hours??

Very excited today. My devil wig and teeth arrived so will be prancing about like a nutter this eve in full devil outfit with red fishnets!! (Its for my Halloween party, i'm not really a fruit loop!)

MrsRecycle · 12/10/2006 10:54

Hi SnowBoo!! How are you? Do you fancy meeting up one lunchtime? How about Costas in the High Street? Let me know what day next week is best for you.

SnowFrightBoooooo · 12/10/2006 13:03

OMG!!! Thought you'd fallen off the planet!!! Erm...let me see. I drop ds1 off at 12:30 so can be at Costas by 1pm. Will need to leave at 2:30. That should be enough time. Any day is good, stuck in all week every week!!!!

Hows baby doing?

eenywifemum · 12/10/2006 13:40

god knows when i will have Alex free time to exercise but i want to try! I want to lose weight but dont want to eat or drink any less so I figure more exercise is my only chance.

I havent heard from dreamy, I'm worried about her. Will send an email too.

Yellow sorry about your windows, what a pain! Also how dare any man make a commenet about your figure! What an ass.

Snow are you a big HAlloween lover? I am too but my main thing is xmas, I become the Sugar Plum Fairy every year

pucca · 12/10/2006 13:48

Hi not been on for a while as i feel a bit funny coming on but will tell you my news

George is now 9 weeks old and 14lb 8oz lol, doing very well, has been sleeping through the night since being 3 weeks old. I have booked his christening for 29th Oct so been mad busy organising everything.

Hope everyone else ok.

pucca · 12/10/2006 13:48

Oh forgot to add, George had his 1st lot of jabs today.

SnowFrightBoooooo · 12/10/2006 13:49

I love any excuse to get dressed and wear a wig!!! Gonna be Mrs Claus this year. And prance about all day long....

And then New Year i shall be a 60's chick with a short black wig....

SnowFrightBoooooo · 12/10/2006 13:50

Y feel funny pucca?

Wow, he doing well. And well done with no night waking!!!! Am jealous....

pucca · 12/10/2006 14:04

Snow..Dunno just feels like i intruding as seems to be the same people on here who know each other really well iykwim lol.

SnowFrightBoooooo · 12/10/2006 14:06

Not at all! Just do what i do and waffle on....i'm sure the rest think i'm a bit nuts anyway

BigHotMama · 12/10/2006 17:53

Hi everyone! Feels like its been ages since being on here am definately getting a pc before xmas.

Jackson is just over 7 weeks now and coming on lovely, he weighed in at 10lb2oz last week at 6.5 weeks clinic closed this week so couldnt weigh him. He started smiling bang on 6 weeks and we are constantly trying to make him giggle and he started mimicking me sticking my tongue out the other day bless. Some of his 0-3 clothes still huge on him but has outgrown some of his smaller babygros. He wakes every 3 hours during the night for a feed and during the day he feeds anything from 1.5 hour to 3 hours so can be quite demanding.

Sorry if tmi, Jackson's poo is very much like a double helping of curry sauce and he gets it everywhere...my mil thinks he must have the diarrhoea but i assume its because he's breastfeed? Am I right?

I got a letter from work and am being made redundant in February 07 but it actually works out in my favour as I wasnt going back for a year but they've offered me a fantastic package if I go back for 4 weeks in Feb I basically pick up 5 months wages and 3 are tax free yippee!!

Eeny dont you worry about your weight hun, it sounds like your dr is a bit of a twat with no idea of how our bodies change during pg. My belly is like an empty kangaroo pouch with a smile type scar from my CS and my hubby still loves me as I've given him the most precious thing in the world. Am sure Sal loves you for who you are and that's all that matters isnt it? TBH I'm still stuffing myself silly with chocolate so there's no way I'd be able to lose any weight at this rate.

Hope everybody is ok and the baba's are growing stronger by the day and cant wait for this meet up x x

PinkTulips · 12/10/2006 18:39

bhm, yup thats bf poo alright. theres no containing the stuff, it oozes everywhere and is the most obnoxious yellow colour. it goes firmer once they start solids..... although not much firmer in dds case!

pucca, don't be silly love, we just come on here and babble on like lunatics. nothing to do with knowing each other!

i'm dying to get caleb weighed again but have to have patience til the 24th.

how did george take to the jabs pucca? hope hes ok poor little guy

i'm on a mad baking rampage at the moment, doing the xmas cake set me off and i've been doing cooies and scpones every day since. only problem is i'm eating them all too! going to attempt proper bread with yeast in a minute

eenywifemum · 12/10/2006 19:58

Pucca dont worry!! I love hearing from you. I know what you mean though, I dont chat to everyone on msn anymore b/c it stopped working on my computer and sometimes I feel a bit out of the loop but I still get loads out of chatting to people on here. Anyway we have all had babies we dont have as much time to sit on the computer as we used to. At least I dont, I am lucky if I check in every day. Hope George's jabs went alright, Alex had his last week and I was so upset!

BHM that sounds like Alex's poo as well. Thanks for saying that about my doctor, he is an ass. But I just have to lose weight I hate the sight of myself. Its not good I know but I just cant cut myself any slack.

Pink, I get Alex weighed every Tuesday - its so much fun!!! I love baking as well but there is no way I would have the time to do any now with Alex the way he is.

sarahlou1uk · 12/10/2006 21:28

I thought I was having fun with the dark green poo from bottle feeding! (glad I'm not breast feeding!!) Hope everyone OK.

Pucca - I don't get on here either as often as I'd like, but with 2 kids it's near on impossible sometimes. If it's not one, it's the other one, or its' dh!

Anyway, finding time to do my revision for my reflexology course is taking some doing. The practical side is fine as I've got people queuing up to let me loose on their feet - it's the reading and all the medical info that goes with it. Oh well, got to persevere as it's going to be my job (hopefully) when I qualify next year!

melsy · 13/10/2006 08:51

Oh I do hope dreamy is ok ,anyone had an email back ??

need to get the follwing out and then I will read posts more.

Thats it , cannot express anymore , its making me explode by the evening. Ive cracekd openthe formula, have been doing half formula half ebm for 11 bttle, now its gonna be all formula at 11. I need to wean dd2off me as dont want to do it past 4mths. I need some freedom for my mental health. Sucha wierd thing , as part of is upset at the though of drying up soon, part of me thinks ahhh I can go out for the evening and not explode. I have enjoye it soo much; the closeness the ease of it. Yet I feel I have to justify myself .

melsy · 13/10/2006 10:07

Impressive sarahLou doing that work with 2 kidlies. Im a head case some days trying to juggle stuff. Good on you , wish u could practise on me too !!

Welcome back Pucca , woudl be great to catch up with you, dont be silly , just come on here and natter and waffle with the rest of us. Hows george and the jabs fairing? Dd2 got her next week eeeeeeeeeeeeek.

glad u were ok with my email eeny big ((((HUGS)))). Silly arse of a doctor.

Oh and with cradle cap , I used to massage olive oil in, leave it for a while , then use a plastic comb and kind of massage it away. DD1 had really long hair , so had to wash it off otherwise she was a greasey mess!!!!

MrsRecycle · 13/10/2006 10:28

Still here - although I do feel as though I've dropped off the planet at the moment. Ds1 is having a scan on Monday and 1st lot of jabs on Wednesday so can do Tuesday. So shall we say Tuesday at 1pm in Costas then. I'll be wearing a red raincoat and will have an blue checked pram (old fashioned 3-in-1 style).

Baby is fine thanks - breastfeeding well and sleeping from 8pm to 4am. He doesn't poo much but the doc said that was normal with bf babies who have a lot less waste to get rid of.

See you on Tuesday!

PinkTulips · 13/10/2006 17:13

o dear, i've just seen 2 teeth in calebs mouth. only just broken through the gums. dd did this too and they disappeared and she didn't get a single toot til she was 11 months. the 2 that cameearly have only just reappeared and shes 20 months. apparently dp did this too and he has terrible teeth so was hoping they wouldn't both take after him!
