Hales it'll be in her red book.

We don't vaccinate against chicken pox here.

Beef casserole for dinner here. Dd said she doesn't like beef so I told her hers was pork Blush and she's asked for seconds Grin

FandangoLaLaLaLaLaLaLaaaa · 04/12/2013 17:36

What a bitch Spotty, glad you got her details.

Well done Equibaby, I'm sure he'll be smilingly gorgeous.

Have fun Barbeasty, hope most of the madness is over now and you can get down to having fun.

I can't remember anything else anyone wrote!

Jamie is soooo much better today. He's eaten lunch and dinner, has had 3.5 h worth of naps and is currently clapping along with pointless Grin I love when he does that, he does this massive over smile that is almost too big for his face because he's so chuffed with himself!

We've missed baby groups this week and they've finished for Christmas now and then I'll be back at work. Sob!

Maryland2013 · 04/12/2013 20:06

Spotty what a cheeky cow!! I would have chased her too ;)

Equimum DS has done some photo shoots. My advice is take plenty of food and toys as you might be waiting some time. Make sure naps are out of the way as some of the babies get very grumpy very quickly. Also, start practising songs etc that make him smile on cue (!). We take a hand puppet as DS loves that and he focuses his gaze on it. DS loves having his photo taken and loves all the attention he gets at the shoot. The hardest thing now he's bigger is sitting still! Well done booking the shoot :)

Hales I always get DH to go to the injections appts. He's much less anxious and stressy than me and as a result DS calms down really quickly. My anxiety definitely transfers to him...

WLmum · 04/12/2013 20:09

Good work equi on all fronts!
spotty what an old bag. Go get her! If that was me I imagine I'd be pretty shaken up no matter who's fault.
willyou so glad j is feeling better.

My girls are def feeling better and T even managed to eat a whole scrambled egg for lunch! I know its not much really but at the moment it's momentous (loss of appetite is a symptom of whooping cough and she hasn't eaten more than a few bites for about a month).
Today I took T to a sensory room which she absolutely loved. I last tool her there about 6 months ago and the difference in her reactions was amazing. I'm booking it again for after the schools break up as I know dd1&2 will love playing with her there. utopoian you should check it out while you're still local. Let me know if you want details.

WLmum · 04/12/2013 20:11

Oh and they have been part vaccinated against whooping cough - it's in the baby ones and the final bit is in the pre-school jabs - I guess that's why dd1 didn't get it as she's had the whole course. It's called pertissus or something on the jab info.

utopian99 · 05/12/2013 03:13

Sounds cool wl, would love details!

Hurrah for the shoot and sleep equi, O would just go after the camera... Hmm

Good luck with the car spotty, and jolly evening beasty

O has forgotten about boob between 8am and 8pm recently, he seems to be self weaning a bit; although clearly not so much he doesn't fancy a 3am top up still!

2blessed · 05/12/2013 03:52

Congratulations nutella Grin

Hope you get what you're entitled to spotty

Hope poorly babies are getting better.

I'm fed up! Long story, might start another thread but nothing new really. Things have to change here for 2014.

R is still my delicious dream, only 1 wake up so far. F finding morning sickness and the tiredness tougher this time round, which I guess is obvious. Just feel that I'm in this on my own. Me me me time over now.

Maryland2013 · 05/12/2013 07:07

Oh 2blessed, why fed up? We might be able to help?

MrsNutella · 05/12/2013 07:12

2blessed sorry you're feeling down you know it's ok to be totally me me me here! It is the perfect place to vent, get a bit if sympathy and some support.

DS has started being more and more difficult to settle at night - I'm hoping it is teeth. And is often ending up cuddled up to me in bed. So I'm not getting great sleeps Hmm. DH is being awesome and letting me stay in bed for a bit in the morning when he can, but I really want a solid nights sleep!!!! Come on DS, you don't need two (little) bottles at night, you're a big boy now. Sleeeeeeep... Please!

SpottyChristmasCakes · 05/12/2013 07:12

We had a rubbish night. Ds kept waking up and crying but then just wanting to play Angry in the end I just left him to moan.

Hope you're ok 2blessed.

I just got dd's bead maze out of the toy boy and ds loves it (if anyone is stuck for presents for Christmas it's the £10 ikea one).

Hope everyone up North is ok, the weather looks nasty.

FandangoLaLaLaLaLaLaLaaaa · 05/12/2013 07:56

Sorry you're having a tough time 2blessed.

We have that bead maze Spotty, J loves it too.

I'm with you on the full nights sleep Nutella. J's okay in his bed until 3ish but after that we cosleep in the spare room. He had 2 full bottles in the night so I hope he's catching up on some lost calories from the last few days. He looks much better, has more energy and his stomach is adjusting to the Abs.

I think DP is on the verge of exhaustion Sad. He's working 12h/day, 6d/week on about 3h sleep a night. J sleeps well early evening and in the morning but is quite noisy/wakeful during the time DP needs to sleep 10-5:30 ish. I will try to give him the lie ins at the weekend but I'm weak and when he offers I always say yes when I've been up in the night!

SpottyChristmasCakes · 05/12/2013 09:27

Someone's selling a maxi cosi priori on fb said it was a spare in their parents car...£50 I'm debating buying it for my parents car....what's everyone's opinion on second hand? I don't know her but she's local so I reckon I know people who do know her

PurplePidjin · 05/12/2013 09:45

Morning Brew

FandangoLaLaLaLaLaLaLaaaa · 05/12/2013 10:56

I'm okay with second hand as long as it looks in good nick Spotty. I know you're not supposed to but my first stage seat was second hand.

I'm going to need at least 2 but as I'm hoping to have 2 babies in second stage seats at once I may buy 3.

halestone · 05/12/2013 12:09

I was advised not to buy second hand unless you were 100% sure that the car seat hadn't been in any car accident or bump.

2blessed, i hope your feeling ok. Like others have said you can tell us how you feel, we're here to support one another. Heres some Thanks to hopefully make you smile.

Willyou i'm glad J is feeling better.

Ddas i think i read on the fb page list that it was baby Ddas birthday today. I hope DD has a lovely day.

Morning PidjBrew

We had a ok night here Grin

I was going to take H to get weighed today, but that wind and rain has put me off.

OP posts:
Maryland2013 · 05/12/2013 13:41

The wind is horrific here!!

Spotty I wouldn't buy a 2nd hand seat unless it came from friends/family and they could guarantee it hadn't been in an accident it dropped or damaged..

Congrats to all the mummy's to be again! I'm far too shattered to even contemplate another baby!

BarHumbugBeasty · 05/12/2013 15:41

It's really windy here too, although I'm glad the rain held off until I came off site!

Last night was really good. It was a fantastic Thai tapas place. But a late night.

SpottyChristmasCakes · 05/12/2013 18:13

Not content with eating a whole bowl of spag bol and a yoghurt ds then finished dd's leftovers and proceeded to pester me for mine too Hmm

Dd said to me this morning 'mummy you need to stop eating so many biscuits or you will go pop and then me and F won't have a mummy' Shock

WLmum · 05/12/2013 19:53

Hope you're ok 2blessed.
That's funny spotty mine pay me great compliments all the time! I'm v jealous of all the eating -T is still hardly eating.
She's been trouble since she got up - I had to wake her at 8 for the school run (spewing all over me in the night must have tired her out!) but just as we were ready to leave she hit me with not one but two mega nappies (a mostly milk diet has made her a bit newborn!). We were late for school so signed dd1 in with the reason 'baby sister explosion'!
She refused to eat anything until after I let her feed herself a yoghurt on my lap - mucho mess. Then tonight she had a bit of a strange episode - she cried out then went silent and red and a bit floppy - I was expecting a fit and was just about to tell DH to phone for an ambulance. Then she was just really quiet and cuddly. When she'd recovered she kept pulling a really sad face but not crying. I've put her movement sensor back on and feel like I want to sleep on her bedroom floor tonight.

SpottyChristmasCakes · 05/12/2013 19:56

Oh god WL has she got a fever? Was she holding her breath?

utopian99 · 05/12/2013 19:58

Ha spotty! Did you tell her mummies need biscuits like plants need sunshine?

Hope you feel you can talk here if needed 2blessed, the venting keeps us sane and this thread has been a godsend to me since before O was born.

Had a great day work wise and may hopefully have two more clients, one on a dream job so don't want to hope too much. The flip side is that whenever I get more work I feel I'm letting O down as it's time away from him,, although the long term plan is for me to grow the practice so dh can ditch his job and join me and we all go and live in the country like something out of an E Nesbit story. Grin So it is all for our family really?

Dh came home and suggested once we get a bit more financially stable next summer he could go down to 4 days a week and have a daddy day with O though, which would be awesome as I could work all day and know they were having a good time. .

utopian99 · 05/12/2013 20:01

Just read your post wl - is she okay now? That would really scared me.

FandangoLaLaLaLaLaLaLaaaa · 05/12/2013 20:19

Oh WL is everything alright? I probably would sleep on her floor but then I'm massively PFB and proud.

That's you told Spotty! I am in serious danger of going pop myself. I am 4lbs heavier than I was the day after I had J Shock

BarHumbugBeasty · 05/12/2013 21:20

DD asked why I had a big tummy, amd said that eating lots of food makes your tummy big. Nice!

Hope your DD is ok wl

Fx for your dream job utopian
