Ok here is the new thread. Quite impressed that I managed to do this as I usually fail miserably.

We had a lovely time wabbitt. We will deffinatly be over to see you again soon. Hope N's cold gets better soon. D slept most of the way home. Will come with out DSIS if a walk is on the cards though a I don't think she can manage that atm. But she was sooo glad not to be stuck in the house with just the cats and the telly for company.

Laptop has come back .

25th is fine with me and I too like the idea of a field somewhere . Do you think the Queen would let us picnic in the grounds of Windsor Castle ?

Beatie · 07/07/2006 19:17

25th is Ok for me except A has an eye appointment in the morning. I think I could get there for midday though.

Shall we find out who can make it for sure and then move negotiations to email? For some reason I feel a little nervous broadcasting to everyone and anyone who chooses to stalk us here when and where we'll be meeting. Especially since we use the first names of our babies.

Beatie · 07/07/2006 19:18

At least we have a general area planned. I'm sure a little research will turn up the perfect meeting point. Maybe there is a countrypark somewhere in that vicinity. There must be. Anyway - we'll discuss exact location on email if some of us are really up for meeting. I am

Simplyred · 07/07/2006 19:38

Sorry can't make 25th as its a Tuesday and I'll be at SW club - but I'll be thinking of you!

The computer suffered a power surge due to lightning it sparked a white flash and it shut down refusing to come back on - we needed a new transformer and router/modem. All seems ok now!

bubbles2904 · 07/07/2006 21:27

Hi all, sorry, i have only skimmed through all the posts, i haven't even sat at a computer since the last time i posted in may i think.
Well, lots of news here, and not all great, as i told you all last time, i'm buying a house. well my tenancy ran out today on my house and the one we're buying hasn't gone through yet, so we are officially homeless, LOL, if i don't laugh, believe me i WILL cry. staying at pils for what we hope will only be a couple of weeks.
Now for some great news, Mia took her first steps last wednesday, and now she can take 4 before falling over, bless her.
You'll never guess where i went last night. Anyone????? no???? well i went to watch the Jeremy Kyle show being filmed!!! i love jeremy kyle i love him i love him i love him. i'm going next thursday too, am borderline obsessive now. i went on the 1st june and the show is on tv on monday morning, i'm dreading seeing my ugly mug on tv .
My depression has got much better for all who are interested, not possesive and jealous anymore, well maybe just a little LOL
Anyway, enough about me, hows everyone keeping? hope all are well, definetely not broody, and don't think i ever will be again, mia's birth still haunts me and i still find it so hard to talk about.
Mummyhill, hope you're feeling better now, sorry i wasn't here will send you a HUGE cyber hug now {{{hug}}}

Glad you are feeling better - I'll look out for you on Jeremy Kyle! Are the people he features real? - I always wonder if they are acting - some of the storys! Take care

bubbles2904 · 08/07/2006 12:23

hi simplyred, they're definetely real, no one can act that stupid LOL. how can you look for me, do you know what i look like?

Beatie · 08/07/2006 19:24

Hey people interested in a Windsor meet-up. Would it be at all possible to postpone it until August? We're on holiday end of July for two weeks and I relaise that I have so much to do before now and then. I'd rather do the meet-up without all this other stresses hanging over my head.

ych · 08/07/2006 21:03

Hi all, welcome to the new girls. I'm YCH, I have 1 DS, Joel, he'll be 1 on 13th Sep. I'm 30, will be 31 in Dec and married for 5 years to DH who is a firefighter. I work for a bank and have just recently moved jobs and am now part of the fraud squad! Which is also the reason I've not posted for a while, I've been doing full time for a few weeks while I'm being trained, but am returning to doing 3 days in a couple of weeks. I live in Fife, Scotland.
NLSTM - didnt realise you were having twins! That's great news about Noah walking. Joel is now walking if you hold his hands, every days his wee legs are getting faster!
Simplyred - that's shocking, I hate road rage and I don't even drive. How dare he...
PC - hair sounds lovely. I've just had mine cut and coloured last week, it was badly needing done.

wabbitt · 09/07/2006 00:06

Beatie - that's absolutely fine for me... I'd just love to make this a meet-up of as many 2005 mummys as possible

Windsor early August Girls??? Please say yes!

Been to Classical Music and Fireworks evening at Stoneleigh tonight - fabulous company, I went with Conrads (betrothed!)well, her Mummy and Daddy - Matilda was there herself but slept for the fireworks!

It was quite cold but the wine and port and ameretto (sp) flowing took much of the chill away - and i always love to see fireworks

Bubbles and YCH - lovely to hear from you again xx

mummyhill · 09/07/2006 09:18

Had a lovely afternoon out at Hatton Farm Village yesterday. DD loved all the animals and fun stuff to do. DH was happy watching the falconry displays and DS though the swings were the best. (not much else for a baby to do to be honest). The shops were good too.

Yes - Windsor in early August - any day except Tuesday if possible. xxx
Hello ychx

and bubbles - No I don't know what you look like but I remember the person holding mia in the photos you posted had straight dark hair -collar lenght - was that you? - I'll laugh it was your aunt Dot!!!

mummyhill · 09/07/2006 18:04

WOW DS is actually cutting a tooth, can feel it when he chomps the spoon at feeding and can just see it when he yells at me. Nearly 9.5 months and finally after screaming since 4 months the tooth is finally here.

PiccadillyCircus · 09/07/2006 20:10

Early August fine - preferably a Tuesday or Friday but can do another day as I have lots of holiday to take .

Argh - I am going back to work tomorrow .

Simplyred · 09/07/2006 22:16

Best of luck for tomorrow PC xx

Its all horns and fireworks here - with a large Italian community - you'd think they'd won the world cup!

Simplyred · 09/07/2006 22:18

Well done D on your first tooth xx

wabbitt · 09/07/2006 23:15

Oh all the very best for your first day back PC xxx

A Friday in early Aug then? as SR can't make Tuesdays I'll get the old diary out later.

Lovely fireworks 'do' with classical music last night. Was a little chilly but the company and liberally flowing wine kept us warm

Well - looks like i'm going to have to sit another year at Warwick without residence - the examination board have not erred in my favour. Hmmmm, such a drag. Another year at the same snails pace in my attempts to qualify myself

Simplyred · 10/07/2006 09:05

I'm really sorry to hear about the exam boards decision.

wabbitt · 10/07/2006 09:17

Had a brainwave last night though - I could use this year to get some voluntary classroom experience - there are two Prep schools here and I'm quite interested in getting my foot in the door... Working as an assistant in a classroom might open up training opportunities for me

I've just got to make things work for me rather than against me...

mummyhill · 10/07/2006 13:35

Go wabbitt

NLSTM, wow, twins i don't think i could cope, hats off to you, and noah is walking??? by himself or when you hold his hands?

Simplyred · 10/07/2006 21:36

Bubbles - Was there a close up of you and another lady early on in the programme? I remember blue with plaits! Ps do you think the mum and that poor womans husband were really at it behind her back!!!

Feeling very drained it was ds's sport day and I was over competitive mum - enough said - at my age!
