I bought a padded bath mat with fishes on. LO lays on that and goes bonkers. He outgrew bath seat at 8 weeks.

VQ your DH is being a twat. Imagine life without wine gums and bacon. Twat. He definitely gets daddy led weaning

Fuck me banana poo is gross!

VQ I am also sad about our sudden end to bf'ing here. I am rationalising it as the next step to weaning but I have cried more in the last week than I have in the last year. Sad

I just told DP that if he became a vegan he would have to move into the garden. His response: "I eat vegans" Hmm

cacacaz I had to do numerous presentations on elements of child care as part of my degree. Prezi is your friend (google it, just tell them you are a student teacher and it's free!)

Izzy I meant, could you not wear just a vest top, and when you need to feed, pull it down, but use a thin scarf to cover up? Nicer and less obvious than a muslin, I've found. Not at all Envy at thought of being too hot. Today was lovely in the sun, our garden is proving to be quite the sun trap Smile

I put enough water so it is up to his ears to clean the bloody things out! GT. So probably about 3 inches? There are lots of those bath seats for when they can sit up on the facebook selling groups here. TBH I had one for DS1 and they were shit. He got his tidgy widgy jammed in the sodding thing. Didn't look comfy! I'm just going to get a bath mat, and he can splash freely!

VQ sorry he's being a cunt. Do you think he is being a cunt for a reason? Or is it his time of the month? I'm sure he'll get over it. I was veggie for a long time, but bacon always tempted me it was chicken wot dun it in the end!. I'd just tell him he will have to live on lentils. That you won't be cooking or buying separate meals for him. Tough shit!

Fucking hell PR. I think each quicher should send you a piece of bubble wrap. Then you can build a germ barrier for your house! Perfect! Seriously, illness needs to DO ONE NOW! Do you hear?!

Please don't all abandon me tomorrow. I will probably be here whinging about being tired. Whinging about my sore fanjo. But mostly worrying the fuck about leaving O for so long. Am sure he will be fine now. He loves MIL well her scarves and jumpers anyway! and you can see he recognises her. It will just be me. Feeling guilty. I've only ever left him for 2 hours.

Oh MM Sad Does she definitely not want the boobs anymore?

Report
TheDetective · 19/04/2013 22:01

MM It is normal to cry. I cried for 2 days solid. But I made the right choice for me, and I knew that at the time. I probably cried over knowing it was the right decision too!!

It is hard, because we love the little sleep stealers so damn much, and every decision we make for them or they make for themselves! we wrack ourselves with guilt over.

Think of the Wine and feel proud at what you have achieved!

Sympathies PR I had 6 months of recurring sinusitis. It's horrible. Can you lay with a hot water bottle on your face to help?

Oh yes MM Think of the Wine and the dresses you'll be able to wear I've got 20 dresses cluttering my attic now Envy

Ah msjones what a lovely thing to say, thank you. DD1 nearly had a meltdown on the way to the car but I managed to rescue the situation for a change. She was saying in the car she wants to see you again tomorrow and the first thing she said to DH was daddy, we met a lady with a new baby and a green pushchair. DH isn't inebriated and both girls went to bed no problems so a successful end to a lovely afternoon. Hope we can do it again. L is a little (well not so little now) treasure.

Hmmm just realised how bad the comment about DH being inebriated sounds...will only make sense to Msjupiterjones

Right, DH has E tomorrow so I had better get everything sorted for him. Hope you all have good nights.

I use feeding covers and love them for their easyness izzy but they may make your LO hot and they don't suit all babies. ds1 and 2 liked being under there but Y isn't as keen. try and get one off eBay and give it a go,.then you are not spending much if it doesn't work out.

look on the positive side vq, you will only be cooking for yourself, the girls and gorgeous J. your DH Is being a nob.

we still use a bath seat but it won(t be long before we get a bath mat so Y can lie down or sit in the bath. never had one of those sit up bath seats.

Okay, so does such a thing exist? I want some knickers. Seamless knickers. But like cycling shorts (not as long though!). Basically something which will not have anything to rub on my scar. I've had to wear nothing on my bottom half all day. And I'm fed up of stuff rubbing on it the rest of the time.

I usually wear short type knickers anyway, but they are no help.

detective o will be fine tomorrow.

And me? I can handle sinusitis. Better the germs get me than get the girls. It is so much easier when I am ill. Except the bastard flu back in March. That knocked me for six and made me incapable of parenting, but when the girls had it made them easy to parent iyswim..

Not that I want the bastard flu back. Or any of the other grubby bugs we've had.

Dandelions in the garden, spring is here and both girls have been healthy for, dare I say ot, more than a week. Rahhhh. Whoop. Yippee. Ouch my poor face.

Random fact for you, I hate bacon, and ham. Yuk. Never eaten gammon of lamb in my life. Been vege for years.

But just going vegan will not last. If he's cooking he'll soon get bored.

izzy I'd prob wait. Or start on holiday if you're doing blw.

Right he's in his own room!!!

fatima that must have been awful. As I said yesterday, this pain is worse than when I broke my back and worse than the c sections. It is constant nasty face ache. Ugh.

Something similar to that - but minus the seams. And shorter Grin.

Will scour M&S! Thank you! I have a £25 voucher for M&S thanks for reminding me!

TheDetective · 19/04/2013 22:46

Damn you M&S you can't claim to be seam free when there is obviously a fucking seam in the gusset. Twunts!

Detective I have some seamless ones from Debenhams, but then that have a little diamond of fabric sewn in to the gusset. I'll check them tomorrow though, see if they look like they'd rub

J has just been put in cot. Have swanky New baby monitor set up so maybe if I get to him quicker than usual he won't wake so much and settling will be easier!?!

He's ended up in our bed last two nights and I don't sleep well with him there and I pee loads so disturb him numerous times as well.

Have a friends 30th tomorrow so me and Mr buzzy going for dinner then on to that. Very excited, not for dinner or alcohol or seeing friends but the fact that my crazy parents are taking J and E overnight!!!!!!! J doesn't sleep and wakes loads and they're still taking them!! Complete nutters!! So I'm looking forward to going to bed and sleeping in a chunk rather than 2 hrs at a time!! Who wants to bed I demand to leave night out so I can come home to bed!!!??
