unless you have a cold

LuisGarcia · 19/04/2013 23:56

sorry, if you have a cold

StuntNun · 19/04/2013 23:58

I'm intrigued PR, what is the French for shart?

I was right, Tesco here doesn't sell papayas so I will have to venture to the glamour of Sainsburys. J is sick a lot though so the pear, parsnip and papaya might be best for him when we start weaning in earnest.

MM it doesn't matter when you stop breastfeeding you will feel the same way. My DS2 self-weaned at 9 months, he just lost interest in milk. I tried to keep going for another week but he wasn't bothered. But it was for my sake that I persevered not his. And I remember being devastated about it.

LuisGarcia · 20/04/2013 00:55

It was a joke post, not an imperative, you know that, right?

Ok, who wants to play words with friends with me? 14th virus at chez garcia in one month is boring. I am Luis g 2005 and will accept any incoming games

GTbaby · 20/04/2013 02:23

Sleepy dust to all x

Kyzordz · 20/04/2013 04:50

Why the merry fuck is that reply there again?

Is there a 5 month cunting regression nobody told me about?

stunt now you've made me think of a list of words to ask pr about the French versions of. Childish ones like wobbly.

Tired. Tired tired tired and struggling to keep up with Fred. Suppose being awake at almost 5 bastarding am might help with that.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 20/04/2013 05:44

I am so not keeping up.

Did anyone read the end of the teen x box flinging thread. I didn't read the responses but I read her updates pretty inspiring.

O is has woken the whole house.according to DH is because he slept much yesterday. How he knows this when he wasn't with him I don't know. No pointing saying anything as he has made his mind up. I just am nw praying for a massive fuck off tooth to transpire to prove him wrong.

I hope everyone is ok.

kirrinIsland · 20/04/2013 06:26

I take a day out and come back to a whole new thread!

Not too bad here. n took ages to settle into her cot again but then slept 23.30 - 03.10 - 06.10. Might even get another hour or so out of her now!

I haven't caught up, sorry. Hope everyone is ok.

Shock

Sorry, didn't have time to check in. Cacacaz you have pm but it may be completely irrelevant. Good luck!

Afaik, flopping one out is totally normal in Spanish countries. I live in vests/shirts so maybe big loose linen/silk/cotton would work?

Luis, i play. Will fr you

Donnadoon · 20/04/2013 07:04

Sophia No I haven't read the end yet..off to have a look now...'twas good reading.

MissMummy1 · 20/04/2013 07:14

8 - 1 then 1.30 - 6.30. If I'd known we would get these results, she would have been on formula 3 months ago!

QQ Those who bottle feed (and sorry if this has already been covered) when going out for the day what do you do? Take premade cartons? Ready made bottles to heat? Or just the powder in a bottle to add water too?

Also, do you make bottles up for the day in the morning? They can last 24 hours in the fridge, right?

Oh this is such a faff.

Slightly irrelevant but I need want a new changing bag. I love mine but it is too small, spesh now we are bottle feeding. Does anybody have a pacapod? Are they as wonderful as they look?

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend Smile

Kyzordz · 20/04/2013 07:14

Morning all. Making it my aim to keep up today so if I succeed you're all stuck with me i'm afraid!

Clarella · 20/04/2013 07:16

bad mummy. Sad lo slept a full 2 and half hours propped on dream genie. I know it's not right but he couldn't any other way. so I slept too. which is good but so bad Sad

xbox thread is amazing!

Clarella · 20/04/2013 07:17

wow mm! amazing! is that a special formula?

Jims · 20/04/2013 07:41

mm i have a pacapod. I do love it but it doesn't hold that much stuff, mine's never shut and has muslins etc overflowing. Maybe i just take too much stuff though!

clarella f was on prophelactic antibiotics for 3 months as he had 2 infections when he was v little. He's had all his scans now and everythin was ok so he is off them now. Once they're over 3 months, they can have oral antibiotics for an infection rathe than go to hospital which i think they factor in. Although it's prob not what you want to hear, we've been struggling with thrush the whole time. Just tried fluconazole after he stopped antibiotics and still not cleared it from me. Am now hoping it might clear up a bit when he eats more and feeds less from me.

Another one here with a very shallow bath time. He loves splashing and wriggling. When he can sit up, i'll start doing the boys together.

kirrinIsland · 20/04/2013 07:41

Same here mm We gone from waking up every 2 hours or so to once or twice a night!
I use cartons when out and about. Haven't ventured into making up bottles in advance yet. Guidelines say not to but I'm assuming it's fine if you chill quickly and store in back of fridge?

ValiumQueen · 20/04/2013 07:53

Morning all x

J slept 8-6 so I did not have to give a night bottle thankfully. 30 hours since last feed, and I have cried a lot. End of an era, and ended far too soon for my liking, but he is so much better for it.

Great idea about the bacon. He says it is a conscience thing. He and his father were slaughterers. Perhaps he has a point.
