pass good news about the formula! I will probably burn myself now. I do find the lid pops off sometimes when I am shaking it made with boiling water.

ValiumQueen · 25/04/2013 11:45

kyz beautiful pic on FB. I am not broody at all

PetiteRaleuse · 25/04/2013 11:46

Congrats to kyz mum Thanks

Are you going to pass on congrats from randoms off the web?

BigPigLittlePig · 25/04/2013 11:51

I love anzac biscuits. Am making do with malted milks at the moment, but may have to make some later then eat them all

ChasingDaisy · 25/04/2013 11:51

Yay well done kyz mum! Thanks

Good news about formula pass, that'll save me some time.

If you want to feel good about yourself, play WWF against me..

I have two thankfuls:

I am thankful that O was born before his due date and thus becoming a November baby, allowing me to join this sanity and life - saving quiche.

I am thankful that O finds dribbling on my face so funny that he laughed his head off for five minutes.

StuntNun · 25/04/2013 11:53

Squeeee Kyz, congrats to your mum. So E has a baby auntie!

Architect reckons there would be no problem putting a two-storey extension on and would cost less than half what it would cost to move to a four-bedroom house in our road plus we could have another en suite.

Elizadoesdolittle · 25/04/2013 14:36

Yay huge congrats kyz

Happy 6 months to Valiumprince. Time flies eh.

Today I am thankful for the lovely weather, and the fact E's pox are scabing over.

fruitpastilles · 25/04/2013 14:43

I am thankful S is asleep and I can eat my crunchie and play wwf in peace.

BigPigLittlePig · 25/04/2013 14:54

Just gave F a spoon to play with, she snatched it from me and shoved it straight in her eye mouth.

I am thankful for the big pillow wedged underneath her whilst she feeds so I can have my hands free to play games which are stimulating my grey matter once I can find it

Kyzordz · 25/04/2013 15:34

On our way to see the little miss, thanks for the lovely comments and well wishes, I'll tell mum :)

She is thinking of Poppy, or Merida for names.

Kyzordz · 25/04/2013 15:48

Ok, we aren't, apparently I can't take Eric in because 'he might have germs and the newborns won't cope'.

If that's the case they shouldn't allow any visitors?

ChasingDaisy · 25/04/2013 15:50

Children aren't allowed on the post natal wards here either, unless they are the newborn's sibling.

PetiteRaleuse · 25/04/2013 15:59

Anyone allowed to visit here. From 12-8. We are in rooms with just two beds but at one point there were 15-20 people in my room. And my only visitor was my DH when there was the most people (theILs popped in and out with dd1). I ended up begging a mw to suddenly need to examine me so they would all go. They waited outside so she stayed with me for an hour until they buggered off. Horrible the day after a c section.

Anywau, is there a six month growth spurt?

Brockle · 25/04/2013 16:03

I am thankful for my mum who knew I was feeling down and took me to her house after shopping which cleared the cobwebs away and really cheered me up. I am also thankful for my three boys who are giving me a peaceful teatime for once

Merida would be apt for a red headed beauty like that Smile

fingers crossed the doctors see sense this time vq

Brockle · 25/04/2013 16:07

I don't think school dinners is going to work with my DS's. ds1 had sandwiches. sodding sandwiches! I could have made him them myself. ds2 had mash for the second day running and cake. I am yet to find out what else. back to packed lunches it is Smile

Pikz · 25/04/2013 16:55

Awwww congrats to team Kyz!

Am broody!!! She is gorgeous

Happy birthday valiumprince! Thanks

BigPigLittlePig · 25/04/2013 17:04

PR that sounds bloody awful. We had to battle to get dsd into the ward to see F when she was born - because she wasn't my child, they were very arsey about it, which was a bit harsh given that she is Fs big sister. They were strict about numbers as well - definitely no more than partner + 2 more so glad for that though

Brockle dsd has school dinners. Her dm picks her meals out in advance for her, but I don't imagine for one minute that, just because roast dinner is put on her plate, she eats roast dinner would be a miracle Packed lunches all round in this house! Mash and cake sounds nice though Hmm

Kyz lovely names, she is a bundle of cuteness.
