Night all.

Luis, I had Abigail delicious dinner and should be full to the gills but your cooking is making me salivate. But poo for the knees though - is it at all helpful to feel what's going on outside the pain relief, to work out how much strain they're taking. Also Shock on your sleep, you are some kind of superman. not supermarket as my autocorrect would have it

Pidj - FFS that is a shit situation. I hope it gets rectified.

Fuckit, I can't scroll back to respond to rest of posts. I hope you're all fast asleep. Someone mentioned a wriggly crocodile - I've got one here. Not willing to put her down awake as she's in her cot for the first time and it could go all pear shaped. She is damn beat wrenching my arms off though.

MaMaPo · 25/04/2013 03:32

Autocorrect strikes again. Fucker. (I missed sweary Wednesday.)

Bryzoan · 25/04/2013 03:43

Fuckballs. It's still sweary Wednesday till the sun is up, right?

Luis - That dinner sounds amazing. How you have managed that on broken knees and under 3 hrs sleep I have no idea. My hat is properly off to you. The knees sound awful and I am really sorry that there will be no quick fix there. Sudden thought - have you tried a sports physio?

So glad nursery is going well for J. R is also at a preschool she adores (and I also love - I spent a long time there in jan settling her in). She does 2 mornings a week with 1 to 1. Salt etc go in too as well as coming here. Her keyworker is fabulous and does makaton with her and also with the other 2 yr olds. R is very fond of her and she understands R well and definitely cares about her but I begin to suspect r is now starting to edge ahead of her in makaton, (though I send in r's word lists which I hope helps). I also wish r could integrate just a bit more with the other 2 yr olds (difficult when she isn't talking or walking yet and mainly ignores them when they play with her still). I am really pleased though with the way she is coming on at the moment and am sure her preschool plays a big part in that. Do many of the kids sign at j's nursery and is it mainstream? We tried r at a sn nursery but she just didn't get on with it screamed blue murder. She loves where she is now. All the staff and the other kids are lovely and they have loads to play with that she really enjoys. She goes to the door signing car (and now saying 'tar') as soon as she is dressed in her uniform, which makes my heart sing. And she barely waves goodbye to me once we are there - she gets so focussed on playing straight away! Know what you mean though about growing up - she still feels so young to me but will be 3 in July so we need to start thinking about schools and statements to apply in the winter for sept 14. It's a minefield.

PurplePidjin · 25/04/2013 04:18

Pig i don't know who you've found but it ain't me! I play under my real name through fb, and yes it's compatible with mobile users :)

ValiumQueen · 25/04/2013 05:24

Bryzoan · 25/04/2013 06:56

Oh dear stunt, vq and pidj. I take it this morning you are thankful for washing machines?

MaMaPo · 25/04/2013 07:21

I'm thankful Detective has a sleeping baby, as this gives me hoped little troll won't forever wake up at 5am farting.

How old is your LO?

TheDetective · 25/04/2013 07:26

Sup chasing??

Well Oscar had broken out the swaddle when I went in with his bottle. He wasn't caterwauling, instead casually flicking his cot mobile interspersed with a bored kinda cry. You know the, I'm just letting you know I'm here type of cry!

Picked him up, offered feed to which at first he seemed non plodded about. Then it was if he remembered he was hungry! He grabbed the bottle off me and took the whole 8oz feeding himself. Shock

Where has my baby gone and what have you done with him!! Is this giving anyone hope?! They can do it! Eventually!

TheDetective · 25/04/2013 07:28

Haha crossed post ma!

He is 21 weeks.

Please keep the good work up O!

StuntNun · 25/04/2013 07:28

I am thankful that Pass sorted me out and I have a luvverly new tumble dryer so I can wash and dry J's bedding today. I am not thankful for orange vom due to sweet potato dinner.

I am also thankful for Words with Friends, my new obsession even though I'm getting thrashed by Luis and Fruit.

I am thankful but also a bit scared that the architect is coming to look at the shittip house regarding an extension today. What if he says it can't be done?

Hello all. We're back from our little mini break. Fuck me it was hard work. The 5am starts to the day at home are bad enough but when we were away it was positively painful - trying to keep screechy baby and noisy toddler quiet in appartment was impossible, and there was fuck all to do on site until about 8am. Apart from that,we had a lovely time.

bigpig sorry to hear of cat woes.

luis am drooling at curry burger and chips. Mmmmmm.

eliza rubbish about house move. Hope it all gets settled quickly.

detective Envy

DS still doesn't really get food. Although he will now open his mouth for the spoon. Can't remember who had problems with this up thread (was it fatima before hol?) but DS has just suddenly started opening his mouth for the spoon. Still spits it all out, but small progress. However, he properly loves toast. Went for breakfast on hol and popped him into high chair with toast soldiers in vague attempt to eat breakfast without bouncing him on knee. He fucking loved it. Gummed it all to death. Not sure he swallowed any, but seemed to really enjoy himself. Lots of cooing and screeching and smiles.

Lily311 · 25/04/2013 08:04

Hugs chasing. Do you want to be my let's get rid of the 3 o'clock feed buddy? I gave 6 oz at 11,she had 5 and gave her 3 oz at 3. I am going to try 2 oz tonight. Also decided to offer water if she wakes within 3 hours of waking.

I had friends over for dinner, was so nice. Though went to sleep at midnight.

BigPigLittlePig · 25/04/2013 08:18

Thankful for my wonderful baby, even if she has decided once again, that sleep is for wimps.

Apologies if any of you were woken by a loud clunk last night, it was the sound of a big fuck-off penny dropping. Feeding F whilst lying down used to cause trapped wind and projectile vom. And what have I been lazily doing for the past week or so?? Shall be dragging my sorry arse to an upright position from this point on.

Luis bad knees suck, I hope you can find a cocktail of drugs to help soon, or, even better, find a cure for the sleep dodger Hmm

BigPigLittlePig · 25/04/2013 08:19

So pidj the person I started a game with the word poo, is not you? That's highly embarrassing no wonder they haven't responded

FatimaLovesBread · 25/04/2013 08:25

detective Envy that is all wish it was sweary Wednesday

M wasn't too bad. She did more than 3 hours at one point, just, 3 hours 30 mins. But it's progress. Woke at half 10, half 2 and 6am. Then I woke at 7:50 to the sounds of her doing a huge poo.

Off to get ready and then shopping we go Grin

LuisGarcia · 25/04/2013 09:07

Did I just refuse a game against someone here? Sorry if so. Please try again
