Will catch up tomorrow. Just wanted to say fuck the fucking spider that was hiding in my fucking nightie. How the fuck I didn't scream the fucking house down I will never know. Fuck.

Fucking cunting spiders. I hit that one a good ten times even once I knew it was dead. Hopefully its friends and family will know not to screw with me. Twats.

Night all.

TheDetective · 24/04/2013 22:21

Sack the animals PR!

I mean why else do we put up with their slobbering, furry, vomiting, shitting, stinky selves for?! Grin

MsJupiterJones · 24/04/2013 22:21

Bollocky arsebiscuits Eliza. Very sorry for them but you are right, why should a couple of weeks make a difference? Hope it gets sorted.

Pass L also likes giving Ewan a good pummelling and kicking and then acts all surprised when he gets the Hoover. Or the beep-beep-beep which I translate as Ewan saying, 'help!'

VQ hope you can get J on the right medication soon. He is in my thoughts very often as are you. Thanks

ValiumQueen · 24/04/2013 22:30

Aww thank you JJ x

Thanks for the advice quiche. He is gonna get ranitidine tomorrow otherwise I am not leaving the fucking clinic.

I requested the 6 months plus Nutramigen last week off the Dr and was given the first milk. I questioned it on Tuesday and the receptionist said I needed a note from the dietician to prove he needed it. I suggested she look at his notes and check his birthday, and did she think I would lie about his DOB. Fuckers!

Elizadoesdolittle · 24/04/2013 22:32

jupiter I could understand if they want to delay the move by a couple of weeks but they don't. They still want to move on 31st May but instead of exchanging now, exchange on 6th May and still move on 31st May. Makes no sense. It leads me to suggest they are reconsidering moving at all as otherwise they'd just get on with it. ARGGGGHHHH.

Right, off to bed. Wishing everyone a good night with lots of sleeping babies.

ValiumQueen · 24/04/2013 22:34

I have Ewan hanging from the bars out of reach as per instructions on the box.

I have also yet to drop a baby, although I did fall down the steps when pregnant so does that count? Bet I drop him tomorrow for saying that.

ValiumQueen · 24/04/2013 22:36

A few years back the person at the top of our chain had the cheek to die. Bloody inconsiderate. The wife then could not bear to leave due to the memories. We had paid out for a full structural survey too. Bastards!

PetiteRaleuse · 24/04/2013 22:41

vq you've been through enough and had your quota of bad luck. You won't drop him. Falling down the stairs while pregnant definitely counts anyway. Things will get better soon as his digestive system matures Flowers

TheDetective · 24/04/2013 22:41

I knocked him over in the highchair. Blush

I tripped over the highchair leg as I turned the chair around to face me.

It was one of those slow-mo scenes, as I kinda had hold of the whole thing as we both went down like a sack of mashed spuds! He was fine. Just shocked.

He's a hard nut. Used to being bashed about.

ChasingDaisy · 24/04/2013 22:41

First feed already. Three fucking hours Angry. Is there a 5 month sleep regression? Do I have the worst sleeping formula fed baby? So much for it helping them to sleep. Feel like I've got this parenting thing all wrong as I've fucked up his sleep.

BigPigLittlePig · 24/04/2013 22:43

Chasing they fuck up their own sleep by being fartypants - Fs "long" stint tonight was 90 minutes

VQ Thanks

I'm off to bed now. I was going to have an early night - FAIL!

TheDetective · 24/04/2013 22:43

VQ Nothing seems out of reach of O anymore! No matter what I move, he's like a magnet for stuff. I'm going to be lowering his cot very soon soon as I find the fucking allen key.

Also. Velcro is no longer his nemesis. He pulls absolutely everything off! GRRRR!

MsJupiterJones · 24/04/2013 22:43

That is really inconsiderate VQ. Some people eh.

Hope you get some help tomorrow at the clinic. We have hosp appt to discuss weaning and so on. Hoping they will advise re formula after 6 months. They will also weigh him, it's been a whole month.

MsJupiterJones · 24/04/2013 22:45

Fuck I forgot to swear cunt bollox shit wank.

Night quichey fuckers x

Kyzordz · 24/04/2013 22:58

chasing you've not fucked o's sleep any more than I have screwed e's eating. Be kind to yourself, he'll get there. Hope he takes a decent amount and sleeps well

pr had to laugh at your post!

det o sounds such a character, would love to meet him one day!

Mum goes in tomorrow for elcs, so I have the kids for 3 days minimum. They arent babies anymore though, they are 18, 17, 15, 13 and 10! 13yo db has SN so will be staying in residency at his school until Friday afternoon providing he behaves, highly unlikely but am still hoping c section goes well and also that the kids behave!

FatimaLovesBread · 24/04/2013 23:08

Fucking feed time already!

Detective - tis I! Someone had stolen RocksInSocks Angry

I'm looking forward to my shopping trip with mum tomorrow, hope M is on her best behaviour. We're risking going by train instead of driving so she better be.

Izzybuzzybuzzybees · 24/04/2013 23:09

I'm trying a bottle of EBM at bedtime again in case maybe he will sleep longer. I'm trying anything these days!!

Do I try him again with poragey stuff tomorrow even tho he hated it???

TheDetective · 24/04/2013 23:12

Proper made me chuckle. Though I agree, cunts for stealing RocksInSocks. That would have made me roll of the sofa! And I'd of known it was you! Grin

GTbaby · 24/04/2013 23:15

Izzy my LO didn't like couliflower. Clamped mouth shut. I carried on tryin and I don't know if he likes it but at least he eats it.

I think I've heard the advice of leave it a few days and then try again.

I'm going to introduce porridge tomorrow. So far just done fruit n veg.

LuisGarcia · 25/04/2013 00:00

I've gone a bit mad in the kitchen. Blush

Does the facebook version of words with friends not work with the android version then?

Bryzoan · 25/04/2013 00:13

3rd waking here and he's wriggling like a baby crocodile. Not looking good,

Pp - arsehole tax credit people. Hope you get it sorted. Did you have an interview today? How did it fo?

Luis - do you.have more knee drugs and are they helping? What have you been cooking? And how is j settling at nursery?

Bryzoan · 25/04/2013 00:18

... Or did you go a bit mad in a smashing plates or shining sink kind of a way?

LuisGarcia · 25/04/2013 00:33

Bryzoan I think I'd built a resistance up to the codeine. I've been trying very hard not to take any for several days now to get the resistance down, and the gp has also given me a stronger dose. It felt like my knees were about to snap last night though. I'm also trying to be very careful about what strains I put on them.

I've cooked a curry for a big family do this weekend, but it's a curry that thinks it's a burger and chips. (The burger is a Benghali fried vegetable pattie, the bun is a sticky rice bun, the chips are spiced sweet potato chips, the ketchup is a kind of tikka masala sauce and the mushy peas are a thick curried pea soup. It looks like burger and chips with mushy peas, but it tastes like curry).

J is doing ok at nursery. It's a really good place, and we're really lucky it's our local one. They seem to be geared perfectly for him, in that they deal with the children on the basis of ability not age, but also have catch up stuff like the makaton leaders, so they push him on the stuff he's good at, but work with us and his SALT on his needs. And he seems to love it. Early days yet, but we're all happy I'm a bit sad he's growing up already

L has been a nightmare at night recently. I've averaged 2 1/2 sleep per night for the last few days, so I'm so sorry for all the stuff I've missed and not paid attention to. Congrats to you purplepidjin on the maybe promotion? Sorry to everyone with cat and or fanjo and or weaning problems.

FatimaLovesBread · 25/04/2013 02:49

luis have you been taking paracetamol with the codeine? Paracetamol helps the codeine to work so it works better taken alongside it either at the same time or overlapping

ChasingDaisy · 25/04/2013 03:08

Luis how the fuck are you surviving on so little sleep?! Can MrsG give you a break for one night?

kyz I have had the pleasure of meeting Detective's O and he is bloody awesome. (As is Detective obvs Grin )

Thanks kyz and pig I'm sorry, I shouldn't moan, its just quite soul destroying.

Second feed here so have just given a 3oz bottle. He seemed very hungry but stopped just before the end of the bottle so we shall see how it goes...
