VQ looked at the green "from birth to five" book this morning & it mentions 'toddler diahroea' whereby they get liquid stools (with visible food at times) for no reason between the age of 1 & 5, so could be that?

PetiteRaleuse · 24/04/2013 12:29

DD had toddler diarrea a few weeks ago. Lasted a few days then went. Once my bedsheets had been changed five or six times in a few days.

Kyzordz · 24/04/2013 12:43

Fucking belated morning all. Will be fuck all short of a fucking miracle if I get to cunting catch up on the Fred today

TheDetective · 24/04/2013 13:00

VQ One missed dose of Gaviscon gives us 2 days of disaster here. I think I've said it on the fred before?? We get vomiting and grumps for 48 hours before usual service is resumed. I've missed a dose twice, and had the same effect both times.

TheDetective · 24/04/2013 13:02

I am sat here. Childless! I've done two jobs on my list. I can't remember what the fuck else was on my list.

Duuuuuuuuuuuh.

TheDetective · 24/04/2013 13:03

Not as bad as DP though who has taken O to town. And forgot the things he was taking back with him. Hmm

ValiumQueen · 24/04/2013 13:09

I thought you had detective My logic is that other babies have a systemic medication that helps keep them comfortable. J does not. O does though, doesn't he? Apparently it can take several weeks for a baby to get the full benefit from a prescription formula. Or it could be teething, or a wee virus, but he seems fine apart from tummy pains and puking.

Yes. Toddler diarrhoea. The joys. Forgotten that little fucker. It wasn't the usual burning poo they get with teething so that makes sense. She did a little one in the night, and I checked her nappy and said there was nothing there. She said 'no mummy, I put my fingie in it' holding a little smelly finger under my nose. Sure enough, there was a small pooey patch in the nappy.

YellowWellies · 24/04/2013 13:15

VQ I fecking hate the reflux guessing game - it does my head in when symptoms worsen to try to figure out the cause. In my time I've regularly rooted through the bin to check ingredients of stuff I've scoffed. Had a close shave with some salami earlier (stop tittering at the back) which contained milk powder - I managed to spit before I swallowed (rude ladies, I see you giggling!!) meh I can't wait til I can stop fannying around with this diet.

I hope its as simple as a missed dose and the wee man is quickly back to himself. If not it may well be you need a change of meds - you've given IG a good run - next they'll suggest ranitidine, domperidone and lastly omeperazole - I think lots of us on the quiche can recommend each of these - you'll find the combo right for him.

There's no sign of teething or a virus which could have upped his symptoms?

StuntNun · 24/04/2013 13:22

Detective pharmaceutical-wise your fanjo is external. Medicines are only taken internally if they are ingested, inhaled or injected.

Tits I have sore, weak, achey everything as well. I put it down to some sort of hormonal whatsit as a result of breastfeeding.

Ok, quiche help please. O is tending to drink between 450 - 60mls during the day and having two night feeds of 120-150mls so he is getting plenty over a 24hour period. I would much prefer him to sleep longer at night though and feed more during the day!

What is the best way to tackle this? Do I offer less at each night feed? I would feel terribly mean doing that Confused

ChasingDaisy · 24/04/2013 14:03

That's 450 - 600mls during the day.

Titsalinabumsquash · 24/04/2013 14:34

Ladies, I need your advice/opinion.

I'm feeling like death, have been for 2 weeks now. Not unwell but just like someone has emptied any energy I should have out. Mood is fine, I'm not feeling low at all, just wiped out.

DP says this alone alone is a good enough reason to POAS, even though I'm on Cerazette and haven't missed a pill in 3 months, we've dtd about 8-9 times since J was born and only half of them were post pill and without a condom.
I'm still bfing so no periods to go by.

I can't think of any reason fr feeling grim and I can't seem to shake it but I'm not sure it's POAS worthy. Who is BU here? Grin

PetiteRaleuse · 24/04/2013 14:38

Could it be the cerazette tits ? I came off it as it played havoc with my mood and energy levels.

ChunkyChicken · 24/04/2013 14:38

Could you be anemic Tits? Could you get a 99p shop S to PO to shut him up?

ChunkyChicken · 24/04/2013 14:39

Why does Toy Story 3 always make me cry??!! Blush

Titsalinabumsquash · 24/04/2013 14:41

I've been fine on the Cerazette so fa, would it start playing me up after 3 months?

I used to be very anaemic but it was due to horrific heavy periods, could bfing the megaton baby of mine cause it? .... I should know this stuff I'm sure.

I'll have to get a chesty test tomorrow from pound land just to stop him giving me that look everytime I nod off on the sofa!

Titsalinabumsquash · 24/04/2013 14:42

Toy Story 3 is a lip wobbler here too Chicken, I am thankful for the dark 3D glasses in the cinema, I was wailing :D

fruitpastilles · 24/04/2013 15:02

chasing could you start with offering more in the day rather than less at night? He might not want as much at night then?

ChasingDaisy · 24/04/2013 15:07

fruit I offer milk a lot during the day but he won't feed unless he is starving. He doesn't feed much at all in the mornings.

PurplePidjin · 24/04/2013 15:15

Shitfuckarsewankcuntbollocktitsbastard

Tax credit fuckers are trying to make out that neith the surestart centre nor the CAB have ever contacted them re my change of circumstances. So they're processing me as a new claim. And according to them we're entitled to £100 a week when entitledto.com reckons £200. And fuck knows when they'll bother to doit,or if they'll backdate it.

One day I'll walk into a supermarket and just Buy Food.

Kyzordz · 24/04/2013 15:25

chasing are the night feeds at particular times? If so when are they? If one is early morning could you hold that one off with water?

Kyzordz · 24/04/2013 15:27

tits I'd probably have to poas just for my own piece of mind I think!

Erm...

pp That is BS! :( hope you manage to sort it, do you have any proof that you've been contacted ?

fruitpastilles · 24/04/2013 15:29

Or could you put a scoop less formula in and reduce it gradually that way?

ChasingDaisy · 24/04/2013 15:31

kyz they tend to be at 11/12 and 3/4. Maybe I should have a cut off point of 3am for milk and water after that?

FatimaLovesBread · 24/04/2013 15:32

Interesting tits I've been feeling pretty similar but I know for definite I'm not pregnant. I had wondered about anaemia again, or lack of sleep.

Right, going to look at starting packing for our holiday. I really have no idea where to start Confused
