Strikeout fail Blush

TheDetective · 24/04/2013 09:43

Not too bad here either. He woke as we went to bed, I assume we DP! must have disturbed him. Since the sleep regression started, he has been waking once, sometimes twice, and needing resettling in the first couple of hours after he goes to bed. So it was good that he didn't last night, and it was only us disturbing him that woke him. After a quick cuddle rocking and patting! he went back down.

So he did 8-6, fed, and back down til 7.30 when DP found him in the cot squealing his little head off. He had broken free of the swaddle, and had rolled up to the top of the cot, he was lying on his tummy and was only stopped in his tracks by his head banging in to headboard! He must have some skills to have managed that one! He was pissed off that he couldn't go anywhere else Grin.

Going to get a zip up swaddle. He's stronger than velcro now. Hmm I wish he would go in a growbag now he rolls. But he won't.

He's still asleep after the school run. Me and DP just realised O falls asleep at the exact same point on the drive every morning we take him (but not in the afternoon!). How strange!

He's asleep clutching on to his new toy bar! Looks so cute!

TheDetective · 24/04/2013 09:45

Oh pig how you have made me chuckle! Wonder what your neighbours must think Grin.

The things we do for some fucking SLEEP!!!!!

Titsalinabumsquash · 24/04/2013 09:45

Urgh sorry I'm not keeping up with the threads.

I'm in the middle of arranging to move house to a 3 bed with an extra bathroom and a bath!

I'm aching like mad all the time though, I really can't shake it. It's been going on for weeks, really weak, achey joints and muscles.

J is doing well, he is at that lovely stage where he rolls away when changing his nappy so I have o chase him around the room.
Still not sleeping in the cot, I might just wait until we move now o tackle it. He sleeps through but in our bed, kicking and turning in circles all night. Hmm

He's eating solids well in his high chair, he has 2 meals a day, he seems to have upped his milk intake again though, I'm not sure if that's a growth spurt or something else, my poor boobs re lookin forward to retirement though.

Jumperoo was the best purchase we ever made, he loves it, he really goes nuts in there having a bounce and a jig. Smile

BigPigLittlePig · 24/04/2013 09:49

Detective it's quiet where I live, so neighbours probably can't see. Unfortunately, there is a bus stop outside my house and there are 2 old folk waiting there, admiring my flowers. I'm not sure they know I'm in the car. They're going to get the fright of their lives when I start the engine up Grin

Clarella · 24/04/2013 09:54

I can see into the future pidj! cos I can't see anything else due to stingy eyes

actually I did mean to type good luck.

fucking sleep deprivation

Clarella · 24/04/2013 09:55

wwf??

TheDetective · 24/04/2013 09:58

Have you finished your breakfast now pig?! What did you have? Make me jealous go on!

TheDetective · 24/04/2013 10:06

My fanjo cream specifically says for intravaginal use. So why does it say right next to this in big capital letters FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY.

As far as I remember from A&P my vagina is INTERNAL!

Hmm
TheDetective · 24/04/2013 10:07

DP is taking O out this afternoon. I am stupidly excited about this, as I plan to sit on my ass eating shit, MN'ing and playing games all afternoon! EEEEEEEEEEEEK!

Clarella · 24/04/2013 10:07

gah I can't mn when feeding anymore as lo tries to lookBlush

Clarella · 24/04/2013 10:08

going to bloody darlington later so will mn in carGrin

YellowWellies · 24/04/2013 10:09

Since solids he's been waking 12, 3, 5 and 7. WT actual F?! His stomach is gurgling and he's uber whingy He's off solids for the forseeable. Gah he used to sleep through til 6am every night. Any old wives coming near me advising solids to help them sleep through will be in danger of defenestration.... Envy

Clarella · 24/04/2013 10:09

lol det!

Clarella · 24/04/2013 10:10

oh that's pants yw

will show your post to dh

Clarella · 24/04/2013 10:12

he reckons solids will help

this baby is too distracted

ChasingDaisy · 24/04/2013 10:24

Another farty pants baby at night here too, resulting in him flapping around his cot for much of the night. He usually poops first thing so think it is brewing overnight.

Speaking of which, I was irrationally excited to find broccoli in his nappy this morning. He actually swallowed some! He didn't choke! Or spontaneously combust!

Interesting WW discussion. I have the book and have found the basic principle behind it interesting. It has alerted me to O's developmental leaps and associated behavioural changes, but I take the timeline with a pinch of salt.

ChasingDaisy · 24/04/2013 10:46

Detective O always falls asleep at the same point on walks! No matter if I am walking to town or back home, he always falls asleep as we are walking past Morrison's Hmm

Catbag · 24/04/2013 11:03

yw defenestration is one of my favourite words Grin

clarella commiserations on having to go to Darlington. It is the nearest big shopping place to me so I have cause to be there more often than I would like!

Passmethecrisps · 24/04/2013 11:13

Big Wine for anyone who can get defenestration in WWF!

I have a baby whose new favourite thing is being poked with a foot while lying on the floor. That and trying to eat her feet.

ValiumQueen · 24/04/2013 11:14

I too love the word defenestration.

My favourite word is bollocks.

WWF is Words With Friends, a Scrabble type app.

QQ could missing one dose of Gaviscon cause baby to be unsettled for 48 hours?

Catbag · 24/04/2013 11:22

vq I was under the impression that IG had a cumulative effect that built up over a couple of days? If that is the case, it would seem unlikely that one missed dose would affect J for that long. I really know nothing though :(

Passmethecrisps · 24/04/2013 11:23

Unlikely VQ. Never say never but I would doubt it. A missed dose for P at worst made her a bit acidy for the hour or so after a bottle.

ChunkyChicken · 24/04/2013 11:34

Fucking fuckity fuck a duck bollocks.

DD is ill with a 40' fever AGAIN.

DH is away AGAIN.

DS is, however, still v v v cute, rolling around, lifting his bum trying to crawl, giggling when he catches my eye

So just thought I'd join for sweary Wednesday.

Wankbadger numnuts knobcheese smeghead cocksucking balls

ValiumQueen · 24/04/2013 11:46

Oh bugger chunky my DD2 is pooing liquid at the moment, but I think it is her teeth. She seems fine in herself.

About the Gaviscon, I figured it would not make a difference too. I think he might need something else on top to help the reflux. I am really nervous about starting solids again.
