S has just put a fist full of grass in her mouth, I didn't even know she'd picked it

Kyzordz · 23/04/2013 14:05

Thanks all, feel much better now and hopefully when we start back up I can start positively and go with what Eric wants :) we have a brilliant relationship chasing aside from dp she is my best friend and I don't think she meant to be so overbearing at all.

I hate days like that det we're having one here but it's quite mild in comparison to some whingy days, he has been worse. On a bad day we end up doing the things you've been doing with o, nothing is good enough for more than 10 mins, and on a really bad day naps and bottles go to shit, too!

I'm getting addicted to candy crush too, only I'm like pr, I try to avoid games because I end up addicted Blush I has a massive addiction to cityville and also bejewelled blitz

TheDetective · 23/04/2013 14:11

What are you lot playing?!

I'm not usually in to games, but this last week has seen me getting candy crush and gin rummy. I blame my dad. We played lots of games on his ipad while at his boredom. Now I'm addicted. D'oh!

I am absolutely fucking furious with DP. I've given all hope of leaving the house to get dinner now. Am even going in Pj's to get DS1 from school!! I don't need to leave the car, and a coat over will hide. I'm now stuck on the sofa rocking a car seat thanks to DP. He facebooked me while O was asleep asking was I there. I said yes, as in I'm here on facebook. So he rang me. It woke O up, who was furious at me, and screamed his head off. I've spent 40 minutes rocking him to no avail, and now he is in the car seat and is asleep but if I stop rocking with my foot he wakes. My lunch is burned. And DP you are a cunt. You know damn well that the phone will be in the cot with O as he usually naps at this time. Why would I respond on facebook if I have't responded by text I wonder?! Maybe because I didn't have my fucking phone.

I've only just turned it off silent after always keeping it on silent, because he fucking nagged me to. It's gone back on silent now. Serves him right if he can't get hold of me in an emergency! No one else rings me!

TheDetective · 23/04/2013 14:12

fruit O put his nappy in his mouth when I turned around to put wipes away. Dirty bugger! Note to self: get rid of nappies before anything else. He'd rolled to it as well. He's fast when it suits!

ChasingDaisy · 23/04/2013 14:20

O's New trick is trying to put his nappy in his mouth too!

TheDetective · 23/04/2013 14:39

So tired. Need to wake O. Or his feeds will be fucked.

Today is super shit.

ChasingDaisy · 23/04/2013 14:45

Was just about to post to say how tired I am too Sad

I need to get O to feed more in the day but I have no fucking idea how.

Lily I'm sorry, I can't think of a solution to your pram problem. Could you try her in it in the house to get her used to it again?

fruitpastilles · 23/04/2013 14:48

We are playing words with friends det hmm think I'd rather grass to a nappy haha.

TheDetective · 23/04/2013 14:57

Where will I find said game?!

We just tried baby rice. Much happiness from O. Thank fuck. No choking.

fruitpastilles · 23/04/2013 15:00

It's an iPhone you have isn't it? It's in the App Store

TheDetective · 23/04/2013 15:01

Just found it!

fruitpastilles · 23/04/2013 15:02

Start a game with me if you want hayley_85

TheDetective · 23/04/2013 15:11

Have done! Is it just scrabble?!

Oh my word. I gave O some baby rice, then he took his bottle, all of it. And more baby rice. He seems delighted with proceedings. Fat gannet.

He had a good go at feeding himself with the spoon! And best of all, no vomit yet after the feed.

I've just introduced him to his pram toy. He's delighted and is sat back in the car seat playing with it.

I'm still not getting dressed through... Hmm.

Chill out for the next hour til getting DS1! He's got maths class after school and I didn't tell him hah for preparing him for his SATS.

ChasingDaisy · 23/04/2013 15:14

I have downloaded it too! UnnaturallyBlonde is the name.

I am buying baby rice on Thursday along with my veg for purees. May try this weekend.

fruitpastilles · 23/04/2013 15:15

Yeah it's scrabble, it's so addictive though, well it is for me. Loving the username Grin

fruitpastilles · 23/04/2013 15:17

Just started one with you chasing
S is less than impressed and keeps trying to grab the phone out of my hand

TheDetective · 23/04/2013 15:17

Some bastard stole TheDetective!

fruitpastilles · 23/04/2013 15:18

How rude, you should demand they be removed, there is only one detective!!

TheDetective · 23/04/2013 15:20

I think I will go with traditional weaning for O if this is what works for him. Will do baby rice again tomorrow if all is well. And then on friday I'll add a little veg to the baby rice. And build up from there.

I think my puree wasn't pureed enough yesterday, given how well he just took that.

I wanted to wait for the dietician, but the appt is when he will be 29 fucking weeks! What use is that?! So I'm gonna have to go on a wing and a prayer, and just hope for the best. Which has pissed me off.

Been looking online for advice when weaning reflux babies, but all it says is about early weaning. I want advice about foods to avoid etc!

ChasingDaisy · 23/04/2013 15:24

I'm thinking of traditional weaning here too. With some finger foods to nom on.

TheDetective · 23/04/2013 15:24

Ahahahahaha I just got a text from DS1. Why mum.

I'm going to be in the doghouse for sending him to maths class haha!

He'll thank me one day. Hmm

TheDetective · 23/04/2013 15:25

O is happy. For now. Kicking about the swing laughing at himself. Phew.

BigPigLittlePig · 23/04/2013 15:27

Back on sofa - at least there were a few pages on MN to catch up on!

I invited one of the mums from baby group over for lunch, so F and her boyfriend had a lovely time on the playmat together her bf kept grabbing her thigh and lifting up her skirt haha Then at baby group, F rolled over! Front to back, without getting stuck and wiggling like a worm.

The sky is blue, so when this feed is done, we're going to sit in the garden Smile

fruitpastilles · 23/04/2013 15:27

I'm quite disappointed, I thought giving S baby rice might make her sickness not as bad, but she just brings the baby rice back up as well, I seriously have never known a baby as sick as she is. Maybe she will get better with the veg purée, I hope so! I'm sure the thicker the foods get the better she will get clutches at straws

TheDetective · 23/04/2013 15:27

fruit I will warn you. I am very juvenile. Blush
