I must admit that being of an art background and also a primary school teacher I am a terrible hoarder and all you describe my dh tries on me

however I'm already looking at how ti get rid of toys that have been offloaded on to us Grin

Clarella · 22/04/2013 13:46

ok weird child. genuinely finding a muslin over his face the most amusing thing ever. quite capable of removing. when I lift it he's grinning and laughing beneath. legs kicking frantically. maybe I don't need a jumperoo after all!

MsJupiterJones · 22/04/2013 13:49

MaMaPo - pramsuit! (I undo it once he's asleep)

fruitpastilles · 22/04/2013 15:57

Gosh it's quiet on here this afternoon. I hope this means mummies and babies are all off having a lovely time somewhere.
I was supposed to be making a dent in the housework today, but things haven't quite gone to plan and I'm still living in a mess shit tip dp best not moan about it when he gets in!

ChasingDaisy · 22/04/2013 16:03

I'm here, pinned to the sofa by a sleeping baby clinging onto my hair. Poor sod has done a lot of crying today Sad Think he is still poorly from jabs, teething and very tired. Having a quiet few days with him to help him recover.

Aww chasing poor O, he hasn't been well for a few day now has he bless him, I hope he perks up soon. At least you get extra cuddles though Smile

ChasingDaisy · 22/04/2013 16:26

Stingy eyes here too Grin

fruit he's been off since his jabs on Friday, only managing an hour awake before getting very tired. He is teething too and not sleeping well. Poor little thing. He's managing smiles when awake though and enjoyed nomming cucumber while I ate lunch Smile He cried when I took it away Hmm

PetiteRaleuse · 22/04/2013 16:36

I've been doing laundry and ironing. Exciting stuff

Kyzordz · 22/04/2013 16:40

I'm here, running round like a tit in a trance trying to get things cleaned. Fun!

Poor o chasing hope he feels better soon!

Clarella · 22/04/2013 16:44

oh poor o chasing - g has been off after every set of jabs. but I remember how crap I felt after the wc jab and the flu jab together so poor babies must feel rubbish. I'm really failing with house work today!

ChasingDaisy · 22/04/2013 16:50

Housework? What's that then?

MsJupiterJones · 22/04/2013 17:01

Is it this one VQ?

I also thought it was meant to be cooled after boiling so as not to kill the nutrients. My formula instructions say to boil 1 litre of water and then leave for 1/2 an hour at which point it will be 70 degrees. I do this pretty religiously but have occasionally used a cafe's coffee machine if out.

GTbaby · 22/04/2013 17:08

Lol clarella. My bubs is the same. Will pull muslin onto his face. Kick his feet. Shake his arms around n laugh when I take it off. He loves it.

BigPigLittlePig · 22/04/2013 17:11

Ha! I've been here too with stingy eyes but thought you'd all think I was a sad act if I was the only one who posted. Chasing F has started to pick up today post jabs, so hopefully O will follow suit - I think his were the day after?

She has napped today, on me, then the sofa, then we had a bit of a snooze together just now. I unceremoniously dumped her on the sofa and legged it to the kitchen to put the oven on for tea - she's still sound asleep now, 20 minutes later Grin. I wonder whether she'll sleep better or worse for all her napping today...

There's so much conflicting information about formula, isn't there? It seems like the most confusing thing in the world so does weaning which is why I'm ignoring it for now

BigPigLittlePig · 22/04/2013 17:13

Have just had a little snigger about the thought that there's a bunch of us, lonely, pinned to the sofa, searching Fred for signs of life and failing. Not how I imagined maternity leave - I had visions of being out and about having leisurely coffees whilst by baby slept in her pram

PetiteRaleuse · 22/04/2013 17:27

:o

Glamourous innit this maternity leave malarkey.

ValiumQueen · 22/04/2013 17:28

JJ yep that is the one. It is fab.

What is making everyone's eyes stingy? Have I missed something?

J has not been happy today. It cannot be the formula as the only think left for him to react to is soy. He cannot react to that to surely? He was spectacularly vomitus at his first feed, then reluctant to feed again and clearly having stomach pains. I took him up for a nap and his bottom lip went when I put him in the cot. Never done that before. Broke my heart and I brought him downstairs again. He napped in his bouncer briefly, then the pushchair from 3-5. He did a horrendous poo at lunchtime. Green paint again. So stinky too. He seems a bit better now, but earlier cried when my mum started making animal noises to try to entertain him. He was bereft!

MissMummy1 · 22/04/2013 17:46

I have spent all day appeasing velcro baby and dealing with sodding enterprise. They were onoy 2 hours late picking up the car but that is the tip of the iceberg. I am awaiting a phonecall fromthe regional manager to discuss my complaint Confused

I will also be complaining to tommee tippee. I kmew those formula instructions were wrong Angry

Seems I am giving M a run for her money for biggest whingebag today Blush

ChasingDaisy · 22/04/2013 17:49

VQ tis MN reading making everyone's eyes sting.

pig that describes my life perfectly! Tomorrow I promise to post when I am pinned to the sofa all day instead of constantly refreshing the thread and my heart dropping when I see nobody has posted and obviously has a better life than me Grin

ChasingDaisy · 22/04/2013 17:50

MM I think Detective complained to TT about a similar thing....

BigPigLittlePig · 22/04/2013 17:50

VQ stingy eyes from looking at a screen MNing for too long.

BigPigLittlePig · 22/04/2013 17:51

Hahahahaha chasing that sums my activities up entirely!! Poise the mouse over the refresh button and every so often click, and try to pretend I'm not a little bit gutted when nothing's changed twat

ChasingDaisy · 22/04/2013 17:54

Grin pig. Tomorrow we shall post!

PurplePidjin · 22/04/2013 17:58
