Rubbish kitty, have a nap when they do at lunchtime. Did you watch the MM DVD last night?

How are you feeling fizz? fingers crossed the early night sorted you out.

Today is messy play day at the community centre - hurrah! The theme Is potions. Ds2 is beyond excited about it and ds3 will come back with his clothes covered in lord knows what. He bimbles from activity to activity getting as filthy as humanly possible.

Have a good day Aprilites Smile

Kittycatcat · 21/02/2013 09:16

Hi. No we watched alan Carr instead. It was hilarious. I laughed a lot, amd ate an indecent amount of tiramisu!

Hehe. Sounds like messy fun!

Kittycatcat · 21/02/2013 09:19

Ps we have moved A's crib into S's room.

GlaikitFizzog · 21/02/2013 17:18

UBW he has my tenacity and strong teeth! My party trick used to be opening beer bottles with my teeth! His is doing the same only with tommee tippee cups!! If he starts challenging us to down pints of milk, we might have a problem!

Working week is over! Still feel rubbish, but I have choir tonight. People better turn up or I will be hacked off.

Heading north tomorrow for my friends birthday. I am not planning on a repeat of my escapades a few weeks ago, but its a at the gold club that sells big measure for small money! A lethal combination!

Kittycatcat · 21/02/2013 18:18

Have a great time fizz

Kittycatcat · 22/02/2013 08:52

It's our first Aprilites 2nd birthday. Happy birthday Conor!

JKSLtd · 22/02/2013 11:35

Happy Birthday Conor Smile

GreenFirefly · 22/02/2013 16:43

happy birthday conor.
DD is currently having a stop because she can't physically hold 6 happyland people at onceHmm

Kittycatcat · 22/02/2013 18:15

They get annoyed over the silliest things don't they.

JKSLtd · 22/02/2013 21:00

Oh yes they do!!

Kittycatcat · 23/02/2013 08:40

So A has woken with a black eye. We had to go into him about 4 times last, and after the nappies I had yesterday I suspect he's got teeth coming. I reckon he may have head butted the crib? Just as well aware extending the 'Austin powers' crib to cot size today. Poor thing. He likes to pull himself to the top and put his head against the bumper.

Kittycatcat · 23/02/2013 08:49

There is also the possibility he did it head butting me... He does this often... Like just now for example.

msbossy · 23/02/2013 09:36

Kitty, did you see your HV yet?

I've not posted on the april babies thread before but DD2 was born 2/4/11 so the thread caught my eye.

The way you describe how you are feeling could've been me when DD2 was 4 months Hmm. I put up with it (and DH and DD1 did too) for months before getting help. My HV sent me to the docs and she explained that I needed to take care of myself (my scores on that questionnaire were pretty bad). I have been taking a low dose of SSRIs for just over a year and I'm now in the process of coming off them. It changed my life. Two little kids is still hard work but I spend a lot less time crying and shouting!

You sound lovely and I hope you find the right support for you Grin

Kittycatcat · 23/02/2013 09:42

Hello and welcome msbossy Grin
We are a lovely bunch even if I do say so myself, and you sound lovely too. I haven't seen the hv yet. I keep putting it off after a few good days. I've talked to dh and some close rl friends and that really helped too. I'm glad you are coming through it. Tell us about yourself...how old is dd1?

GlaikitFizzog · 23/02/2013 10:17

Hello msbossy! The story I am about to tell is not a regular occurrence, although is may seem like it after my night out a couple of weeks ago! But it isn't! I am practically a nun usually!

Line dancing ladies night with my mum last night! I dusted off my killer heels. Killer being the important word here! Played bingo (rock and roll) took part in the longest ever raffle where the white a green tickets were so close in colour women were fighting over the prizes. Star prize was a half stone of fish from a local monger! :o I won a wreath of chocolates! It weighs about half stone!

Jd was had, dancing was done, I avoided the buffet as I wouldn't be able to follow the 4 rules of Paul McKenna. Got home to my mums, killer heels intact. Just finished saying, I can't believe I still have these shoes on, when Sod's law struck. Arse over tit outside mums neighbours house. I have a scraped knee but more worryingly I can't put any weight on my left foot!

I'm a doofus.

Kittycatcat · 23/02/2013 12:13

Ooooo fizz. Rest up. And send me chocs pls. Sounds like a good night.

TwentiethCenturyGirl · 23/02/2013 18:46

Oh my goodness. A wreath of chocolates sounds amazing...and possibly worth spraining an ankle for. Mmmmm!

We're having a crappy weekend. DD is full of something and we've all had no sleep. DH and I have been snapping at each other and DD is just feeling sorry for herself. Urgh.

Hello mrsbossy - welcome Smile

UnderwaterBasketWeaving · 23/02/2013 19:34

Hello MrsBossy.

Well done on the injury, Fizz! I am impressed! Grin

20th, sorry to hear your having a tough one. Hope you're all feeling better soon.

F is being a terror this evening. He's refused tea again, and didn't eat much for lunch either. He's been flinging his tea around, and generally being unpleasant. He's developed a really entitled/indulged "no" whine and scream. It's infuriating. He's currently refusing to lie down and is breaking books and throwing toys around.

We picked up a multivitamin for him today, since he seems intent on surviving on only breakfast and biscuits. Hopefully that'll do something for him.

Think I'm going to have to eat a whole packet of chocolate digestives...

Kittycatcat · 24/02/2013 05:13

Aaaaaaaaaaaargh. S woke A up. A won't go back to sleep even with an alcohol fuelled boob. I want my cosy bed.

TwentiethCenturyGirl · 24/02/2013 05:19

Feeling your pain Kitty. I'm up too. DD is boiling and medicine isn't bringing her temp down. No sleep here either Hmm

Kittycatcat · 24/02/2013 05:38

Hugs twentieth. I've handed over to dh cos I was losing patience but still can't sleep.

TwentiethCenturyGirl · 24/02/2013 06:38

I can't sleep either now. Hope you get some shut eye in the end.

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 24/02/2013 08:08

How were the choc digestives UBW? Grin

commiserations to those with poorly and non sleeping children Brew

How's the ankle fizz? I have no stamina with heels anymore. I can't believe I used to wear them day in day out and find them perfectly comfortable. Now they feel like torture

Not much going on here today. It's flipping freezing though. I love winter, but the cold is wearing a bit thin now. Roll on Birkenstock weather .....

Kittycatcat · 24/02/2013 09:20

Dh got him settled. And got up with them both so I'm just getting up. I keep having strange dreams / nightmares so I'm not sleeping great. Feel a bit eugh this morning. Hope its just hunger. I HATE being cold and it was freezing last night.

Did you get any sleep 20th? How is the lo now?

GlaikitFizzog · 24/02/2013 10:51

Impressive bruise has appeared! And I can sort of walk on it without excruciating pain. Still painful enough to have dh run around after me!!
