or see that I am right and he is very wrong Grin

TheDetective · 01/02/2013 19:03

Erm. I think it was the teats Confused. DP did him a bottle with size 3 teat and he took 5 oz, straight off, no fussing, and in 10 minutes. New world record in the detective household. I am eyeing him suspiciously as he now snoozes on me.

--I covered myself in towels in case we had a vomplosion!-/

Damn it. I only have 2 of the teats. Gonna have to mess about sterilising overnight!

GTbaby · 01/02/2013 19:14

Exhausted. FH drink lady night so little sleep. Huge yelling match this morning. Still had ikea draws to put together which has taken ME all day. As FH thinks he is ill hung over. He came n hugged me just now. Said I did I good job n he was sry for bring a pain. Rather then launch another attack on him (along the lines of i hate u, u fucker) I hugged bk. I'm now in bed. He has LO downstairs. N I think mil has gone to bed so HE has to look after LO. I could fall asleep. But must not as ill b up all night.

TheDetective · 01/02/2013 19:18

I couldn't sleep last night, as I was worrying about the mammoth task of feeding, school runs, shaving legs, getting emergency tampax from Tesco (yes, this idiot was planning to go swimming mid period. Forgetting about said period. I haven't used tampons for years. Now I remember why...) and getting to swimming on time with a fed and rested baby.

I slept 2-4. That is it. Yet I am not tired today. Strange. Very strange. Especially after swimming. Swimming always makes me tired. Even if I haven't actually moved a muscle!

Keeping up with these threads is my hobby.

TheDetective · 01/02/2013 19:36

LIKE!

Catbag · 01/02/2013 19:44

Ha ha, it is starting to feel like that for me too blonder!

Catbag · 01/02/2013 19:53

Forgot to mention- do y'all remember a while back I was talking about the Homestart volunteer that the health visitor was pushing me to accept a referral for? I was a little reluctant, mainly cos my sister told me it was a terrible idea Hmm Well, I bit the bullet and met with the area coordinator yesterday. She was lovely. Hopefully there will be someone comng around for three hours a week by the end of the month! Muchos excitement for me. I may well start being able to be house proud a bit again! I am so looking forward to feeling like I am back on top of things Grin

MissMummy1 · 01/02/2013 19:55

M and I managed a bath together tonight. I'd say it was a success, but she pulled my glasses off before we got in, and I managed to stand on them getting out. FFS, and these were my spares! clumbsy bugger . I have no contacts with my current prescription and they are pretty mangled. Guess what I'm doing tomorrow! (if I can find anyone to drive me, I'm struggling to see the screen on my mobile) Sad Sad

Catbag · 01/02/2013 19:56

Aside from DH, I don't have any adult support. My sister moved back down south and most of my uni friends live 40-60 miles away. This will revolutionise the general state of the house of cats!

Catbag · 01/02/2013 19:58

mm There must be something in the air- I managed to stand on DH's glasses at 2am this morning while trying to put the radio on so I had something to listen to while feeding the babies. They were on the floor though Hmm

Elizadoesdolittle · 01/02/2013 20:05

Boobs feel like deflated balloons. That is all.

Catbag · 01/02/2013 20:06

I fixed them this morning as they just needed screwing back together (once I had found a small enough screwdriver).DH returned from uni this evening with them bound up with sellotape Hmm Seems I had not tightened the screw enough and they exploded apart in his seminar Blush He has fixed them properly now!

MissMummy1 · 01/02/2013 20:08

At least I didnt stand on her Hmm

My mum is going to have her for an hour on sunday night while i go to a fitness class with a friend. It's a bit of a trial as she's going to be having her a few hours a week when I start working for my new client in feb (literally 2/3 hours max). My mum (and dp) is the only person I think I would trust with her, I've never been away from her yet so feeling a bit Confused

Catbag · 01/02/2013 20:11

The first time's always the worst mm. The worst bit for me is going out in the car without the baby/ies and forgetting that they are not there. Cue momentary cardiac arrest when I think I've left them somewhere I shouldn't have!

Catbag · 01/02/2013 20:14

Ffs, I have had six emails from the Flylady since 4pm

PetiteRaleuse · 01/02/2013 20:40

A ha ha ha ha. Jst watching Room 101. Cilla Black is on there complaining about low grade slebs who are narky and do the do you know who I am thing. Ha! She is well known for being the nastiest piece of work around when it comes to slebs dealing with plebs. Ha! I you ever fancy a wander into a cabin crew and pilot forum, there are whole threads devoted to her awfulness.

Dmn it, she got it into room 101. She is the worst culprit for it hypocritical whatever. Allegedly.

Just saying. As you were.

PetiteRaleuse · 01/02/2013 20:43

Ooh one of Mel and Sue is doing parent and toddler groups.

PetiteRaleuse · 01/02/2013 20:45

On room 101 that is

blonderthanred · 01/02/2013 20:48

I am watching PR. Did you see the thread on overpronounced foreign accents recently? In aibu. Made me laugh.

PetiteRaleuse · 01/02/2013 20:55

Ha. According to my mum I say Manchester with a French accent. Not sure hw that happened. Being a born and bred northerner.

PetiteRaleuse · 01/02/2013 20:56

How did your jabs go yesterday? LO a tad niggly today but otherwise just slept even more

BigPigLittlePig · 01/02/2013 20:59

I'm in cluster feeding hell tonight Sad

Evilwater · 01/02/2013 21:11

I went to a NCT baby group, it was great. I felt very relaxed, and the toys were nice. It's a shame that N didn't want to play.

N has been teething, the drool went everywhere. He has also suffered with wind but no where as bad.

Big I hope things get better for you.
Evil

PetiteRaleuse · 01/02/2013 21:29

Might not be teething. Dd1 started drooling and showing signs of teething at three months and the first one finally came through at 8 months. Which is late. So LO's signs now am taking with a large pinch of salt.
