Argh fizz maybe we can be buddies again?! POAS tomorrow!

If it doesn't happen this month we're restarting in late July short of an immaculate conception.

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 10/06/2012 21:06

Oooooh, keep us posted Frak . Am I right in thinking you must be moving soon? Excited? Scared? Crapping yourself about the logistics of it all?!

Gawd I feel knackered today, I have also managed to get infected with baby I's conjunctivitis. I have never had it before and it is rather unpleasant.

Kittycatcat · 10/06/2012 21:06

frak I had loads of negatives with kitten. [crosses fingers]

chillikat · 10/06/2012 21:43

Hope everyone who is POAS tomorrow gets the result they want.

None of that planned here just yet.

I'm finding M a delight at the moment - she's so funny and I think she's turned the cuteness up a notch. She's also learning loads of new stuff - finally getting the shape sorting and stacking rings. More amusingly she's learned to walk backwards and over the weekend seems to have started to courtsey Confused. I'm not sure if nursery taught it her for the jubilee or maybe it's a form of dancing but there's lots of knee bobbing going on here at the moment :o

UnderwaterBasketWeaving · 11/06/2012 05:57

Good luck with POASing this morning, folks.

Back to work for me today. Only 6 weeks till the holidays.

Frakiosaurus · 11/06/2012 07:51

Yep, ILTMI we are! Container leaves in 2 weeks. Flat is a bombsite. Definitely excited and crapping myself over logistics. Not scared other than over the possibility of doing the move in first trimester. To be fair I did realise this but DH went away 2 weeks ago for a bit (oh yes, we'll down navy, solo move here I come) and it was this month or late
July so given that I have no periods and the possibility was minute we went for it. I'm now scared it may have worked. Really inconvenient! No booze this summer, and EDD would be round my mother's 60th birthday for which she is planning a big party. Oops.

Any news yet fizz?

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 11/06/2012 08:30

This age is lovely isn't it Chilli? They're (mostly!) a real delight Smile

So much POAS action going on here. Fingers crossed people x

I hope you get some help packing Frak - pg or not.

I'm not sure there is ever a right time to be pg. There will always be parties, weddings etc.

I am off to the dentist this morning for some work to be done. A sodding great filling has fallen out and possibly taken some tooth with it. Ah well, they say you lose a tooth for each baby.

GlaikitFizzogKnitterOfTheRealm · 11/06/2012 09:44

Still no af. And I didn't buy a test at the weekend because I wouldn't have been able to wait. I told dh of my worryings last night and he was so great. As always. But said no use I. Worrying until we know.

Frak, exciting times for you. It will be fine either way. I'll get a test today and we can pee together?!

Kittycatcat · 11/06/2012 11:11

[holding my breath]

GlaikitFizzogKnitterOfTheRealm · 11/06/2012 11:32

kitty, breathe, not been to the shop yet. :)

Kittycatcat · 11/06/2012 12:17

Ok. Breathing. How are you feeling?

Starshaped · 11/06/2012 13:35

Do you know what, I'm a bit jealous of you POASers. We've agreed to not try for another 12 months but I would really like another.

I hope you all get the result you want when you test Smile

UnderwaterBasketWeaving · 11/06/2012 17:24

What?! Still no POAS action? I've been to work and everything.

Frak, I don't envy you the move. I hate moving!

GlaikitFizzogKnitterOfTheRealm · 11/06/2012 18:35

I've not done it. I'm delaying the inevitable I know, but I just can't. I've felt sick all afternoon, but that could be just nerves. I'm so tired too Anyway, enough of that.

Baby proofing stage three has happend in our living room. We have turned the expidit unit on its side so it is now the tv unit as B kept switching the tv on and off, changing the channel etc as the tv has those touch sensitive buttons. I had even tried putting masking tape over them but he could still do it. Ideally we would put it on the wall but the plaster is too soft and our telly is huge and weighs a tonne.

B has developed a fear of my little dyson. He screams even if I take it out the cupboard Confused so I can't Hoover now unless he's napping. He used to be fine with it and would even chase me around when hoovering , but no chance of that now. Don't you just love how they keep moving the goal posts!

ecuse · 11/06/2012 19:28

J is okay with the Hoover but hates the hairdryer and also any ripping noises. Especially the sound of sellotape being pulled off a roll. Has her in floods of tears, strange child!

Good luck poas-ers! I am selfishly disappointed not to have any news, have been looking forward to logging in to find out all day. Vicarious pleasure though as we're not trying again any time soon.

Urgh. The flat is a tip and I have no energy for cleaning.

Starshaped · 11/06/2012 20:48

Any news yet Aprilites? :o

chillikat · 11/06/2012 20:52

M hates our Darth Vader phone that plays the imperial march. I can't blame her really - it took me about 4 years of living here before I stopped jumping out of my skin when the phone rang. Fortunately not many people phone us any more but she cried when my friends DD pressed the demo button earlier.

DairyBeetle · 11/06/2012 21:09

Well hello ladies!

pulls up chair and awaits POAS updates, passes round Biscuit<

S is asleep, in his cot, and has been since 7pm!! This is the first night in WEEKS that I've had an evening. I had a cup of tea, changed the washing, faffed on the internet and ate Ben and Jerry's...oh the simple joys of having an evening!

Anyway, thought I'd better say hello while I had the chance. ILTMI S shared his conjunctivitis last time he had it, such generous children we have! Chilli it is a lovely age at the moment, watching S learn so much so quickly is brilliant (though we are getting the pre-curser to some epic looking tanturms >wibble

Kittycatcat · 12/06/2012 08:02

S woke at 1. Did what I usually do and put his music on from my bed and he went back to sleep. When I went to get him up this morning (ahead of work) he had been sick in his cot. I'm a bad mother Sad

ecuse · 12/06/2012 08:58

Ha!! I would totally do that, kitty. You're not a bad mother. If he were still unhappy he wouldn't have gone back to sleep, would he? And if he's a bit poorly then the best thing in the world for him is sleep. So actually you're an excellent mother. QED.

Starshaped · 12/06/2012 09:13

What Ecuse said.

I've had exactly the same situation Kitty (except we don't have any music, so I left P to have a little weep Blush). She went back to sleep pretty quickly though and was fine it the morning. I think it's just one of those things. Is S ok this morning?

Kittycatcat · 12/06/2012 09:17

Thanks ladies. Yeah he was grumpy at first, but was the same yest. I used to send him to his GP's in his pj's but they kept putting his clothes on wrong, Ie its warm so vest and shorts instead of t and shorts, and socks with sandals so i decided to start sending him dressed. So he is getting used to that. He was quieter in the car but still his happy self. He had wind the day before so perhaps he was just struggling and needed to get it all out. Have asked them to let me know how he is today.

Kittycatcat · 12/06/2012 11:50

FIl has just text. S has been sick twice more. Seems ok since having a sleep. I said to let me know if he is sick again so i can take him home earlier to avoid rush hour. But now i am worried cos they also have my dnw today, and he has an 8 month old sis at home.

GlaikitFizzogKnitterOfTheRealm · 12/06/2012 13:38

I have bought the sticks. Question is, to pee or not to pee at work?

BTW
Was sick again this morning. If its negative I wont believe it.
