Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
blizy · 29/05/2012 20:49

Ledkr- men eh? I had mine just off the phone telling me he is off on a night out on sat. Said he forgot we had plans ( its the sands balloon release and we are going for lunch and drinks afterwards)!Angry. He is into plums I he thinks he is getting any loving at the weekendWink.

It's a hypnotherapy app (virtual gastric band). I don't know if it's helping but unloved the hypnotherapy part, it's so relaxing.

Reastie- hmm tricky, I don't know what I would do about the job. I like wiggles suggestion though.

Don't worry about Alice, they all go through that phase. In fact my baby mindee is just like that at the min. His mum is racked with guilt leaving him. He stops crying about 30 seconds after she leaves ( it's purely for mums benefit, they love to make you guilty) little monkey!

Hi wigglesGrin

Waves to tad!

Ponyo- how are you doing? Hope you are managing to get things sorted.

reastie · 29/05/2012 21:36

ledkr I wouldn't call it head hunted, more knowing people in high places Wink . I agree with better the devil you know in this situ I think. I've thought long and hard and done lists re: what to do and I'm so tempted to go for an interview as in the long term this is the school I think I'd like to work at but for now it would be alot worse than I have it now - I'm just getting things under control at work and moving would be so much more work as there would be ten times the marking I have now every week and so much more paperwork as it's a state school which seems to love teachers doing tons of the stuff Hmm and I'm pretty lucky where I am - we have a great head teacher and I'm given quite free reign on what I teach and what i do. Btw - deep breaths re: dh Grin - does he know how you feel about all this? can you leave him one week end day and instruct him with a list to get everything done? My DH is a bit useless too - he looked after Alice this afternoon when I work and his one day a week he cooks dinner for Alice he forgets to put the fish finger in the oven for her Hmm

blizy how annoying re: mrblizy too. I've done the app for a few days now and v relaxing but also not sure how much it's helping as I can't remember any of it as I'm so tired when I do it

ledkr · 29/05/2012 21:43

I am in bed now with wine and doritos haha.He has just come up and said he is going to "make dinner" good luck with that then knob.

I have a little thread on aibu at the moment if you care to peruse,I cant be arsed to repeat the story.

WeAreBorg · 29/05/2012 21:58

Hi all,

ledkr what's grinning bum man? I'll have a look at your thread if N stays asleep, regardless of what the problem is YAdefNBU

reastie how nice to have a choice, sounds like you have made a decision.

granny I didn't realise they all did shows and things, they didn't do all that when I were a lad

I've added a photo my brother took at the weekend of N in a fountain, it's in poncy black and white. I took him to the beach today which I thought he would love, being obsessed with sand and water, but it turns out he doesn't like them both together Confused

NeedToSleepZZZ · 29/05/2012 22:11

Hello everyone Smile

Missed so much again, I like the sound of this virtual gastric band app and will have to have a look at your thread reastie. Not sure what to say about the job but be proud of yourself for being fab at your job anyway (otherwise they wouldn't have invited you for an interview) Smile Sorry but I have to ask; did DH give A a RAW fishfinger or none at all? Grin WHenever I ask OH to feed B he does cheese on toast Hmm

ledkr Agree with reastie about leaving DH a note and just going out for the day, hope he enjoys his uncooked prawns later Grin

Deb Woo hoo to your knickers! You flasher you Wink

blizy Is the balloon release a local thing? I'm Angry with your DH too on your behalf, sod.

Just started a new thread in chat here if you want to have a peek, I may be suffering from a sense of humour failure but really hate the term MILF.

Been to see the paed today and ended up spending most of the day at the hospital because of B's bowel problems. He had a blood test and hoping it shows what's happening but I really want him to have a scan/ x-ray to check but think I'd have to push for that. Does anyone else have any experience with bowel problems in babies/ toddlers? B basically cannot poo without extreme pain (sweating, screaming etc) whilst pushing for half an hour at a time and his poo is very soft/ not solid as he's on Movicol. Last Thursday a bit of his bottom popped out when he was pushing, paed said to take a photo of this when it happens again (one for the baby book Hmm). Getting a bit stressed about it now as it really isn't normal or constipation.

Glad to see that B isn't the only one refusing to wear a hat; I thought I'd get some of that Sudocreme sun screen foam and rub it into his head, might work.

Sure I had more to say but seem to have gone blank, probably due to no sleep. Sort of getting used to it now and having a nap in the afternoon when he does or I'd go mad but feels like I've gone back to newborn days....

NeedToSleepZZZ · 29/05/2012 22:13

x post there, will check out your thread ledkr and big hello to Borg, will have a peek at N too!

ILovePonyo · 29/05/2012 22:16

Hi peeps,

just watching the inbetweeners before bed :)

reastie go with your instinct re: job (which seems what youre doing Wink) God yes re: dh and doing A's tea, mine is the same, he would only realise shes hungry when shes screaming or when he gets hungry Hmm

ledkr grr re: your dp but also Grin at prawns for tea. I sometimes feel like I'm living with a bloody teenager too re: washing, cleaning up etc, for gods sake.

blizy hiyaaa, now please could you tell me more about the app, is it the £6.99 one? How often do you listen to it, etc etc.

Borg off to look at your pics now, hm N being contradictory, what next Wink Grin

Am ok but dreading Friday when I have to see ow with my sis to pick up some of my dads stuff, she is not wanting to give us certain stuff but we have insisted on it, especially as she has not been entirely open with us about other matters (don't want to sound cryptic but don't want to be blabbing on about it all online atm) so hope its not awkward. Just feel I/we have been taken for mugs a bit and its not what my dad would have wanted... anyway! positive thoughts for Fri please ladies :)

ILovePonyo · 29/05/2012 22:18

needto hiya, aww poor B and his bottom, such a horrible thing for you both. Hope he gets lots better soon and you get some sleep

NeedToSleepZZZ · 29/05/2012 22:23

Hi Ponyo, what a horrible position to be in. Really hope ow sees sense and realises what your Dad would want. Handholding and positive thoughts heading your way for Friday x

wigglesrock · 29/05/2012 22:25

WeAreBorg its a lovely photo, N looks very tall Shock When O was 18 months we went to Majorca, all excited we went to the beach, to say Olivia was displeased was a huge understandment. She had been on the beach loads of times here but she was not a fan of sand, sea and hot weather Shock Even now she'll play on the beach in freezing, cold, wet, windy weather but not fussed on the beach in good weather - contrary her? - surely not Grin

ledkr Grin, I am banned from matching socks together after they are washed! Mr W is bemused at my inability to spot the difference between a green and red trim!

Lots of laughs at the Wiggles today. Sofias school had an Olympics opening ceremony today- each class was a country and they had to do a little presentation, dress up in the flag of the country, play some music associated with the country, parade about etc. Anyhoo "Jamaica" played Bob Marley records - Sofia is now obsessed by Bob Marley, I dug out some old CDs for her earlier while Mr W was at work. Mr W loves music always has - music, films and Italian football - his big loves, but he dislikes Bob Marley with a passion that rivals my dislike of Tom Cruise. In the space of 30 mins Sofia had taught Olivia the words of "Three Little Birds" and Anna was "joining" in. Poor Mr W is in music hell Grin

wigglesrock · 29/05/2012 22:32

God it took me forever to type that post, x posted loads.

ponyo much love for Friday, just remember all the lovely times you and A had with your Dad before he died, it'll help you do what you need to xxxx

NeedTo poor B and you xx Push for all the tests/xrays you need, make a real nuisance of yourself in the nicest possible way Grin

NeedToSleepZZZ · 29/05/2012 22:49

Love the pic Borg, I am bucking the trend and going to admit to liking b/w photos!

wiggles you just made me Grin at the thought of a very indignant MrW with you all singing to him!

Have added some pics of B too, he's growing up too quickly now

wigglesrock · 29/05/2012 23:01

NeedToSleep they are gorgeous photos, I'd only seen the first few. B looks like a real little boy ifykwim. He's scrummy.

Are we not supposed to like b/w photos?, all my best ones are b/w Grin

Right off to bed "baby don't worry about a thing, cause every little thing..." aaggh bloody Bob Marley and his wee Wiggles devotees Grin

blizy · 30/05/2012 12:19

ponyo/ledkr I bought it when it was £4.99 this is a link to thwww.mumsnet.com/Talk/big_slim_whatever_weight_loss_club/a1462504-Virtual-Gastric-Band-Hypnosis-App#32055902e thread

I hope Friday goes well, and that the ow doesnt play funny buggers with you. If she does just set us at her!

borg nate is such a handsome little boy!

needto Poor ben (and you) I really hope they get to the bottom (sorry about the pun) of things. It must be so horrible for him.

ledkr Did dh enjoy his raw prawns? Grin

Grannyapple · 30/05/2012 13:11

Awborg N is soo cute!

needto B is gorgeous too! Can't believe how much hair these babies have...N is still bald by comparison!

reastie · 30/05/2012 16:06

Hi all

borg love the piccie, infact, I love black and white shots too - somehow they make my dodgy photography look so much better Grin

needto poor Ben Sad . How long till you get the test results? I assume if they come back normal they would do some more tests? [hopeful] . Don't forget to have that camera handy at all times to get the picture of bens bum Hmm maybe try doing it in black and white Wink . Hope you will soon get that illusive full nights sleep again - just as you think you've got them figured out they change all the rules don't they?

blizy how long till you get your blood results?

wiggles love how the girls are driving MrW's mad with bob marley Wink

ledkr Grin to the odd shoes

ponyo good luck for Friday - hope it comes quickly for you and isn't as bad as you're thinking it may be (IYKWIM)

Well, I've managed to wangle £15 a month off posh gym membership by asking work to see if they would contact the gym about setting up a corporate account with them Grin . Just debating as I'd have to sign up for a whole year and I don't know if my timetable would work next year with the gym - do you think I should do it?

blizy · 30/05/2012 16:19

Reastie- I have an appointment with doctor next Wednesday morning. Another while week to wait!Angry

Job would go for it with the gym membership. I wish I could afford to sign up, the gym near me is super expensive. Sad

Just waking on the kids getting picked up, I have them sat in front I the tv (bad childminder). They are really wild today
And full of carry on and the tv calms them down, it's only on for 30 mins though. Roll on home time!

blizy · 30/05/2012 16:20

Jeezo, just read that back. Sorry about all the typos, hope you can understand!Blush

NeedToSleepZZZ · 30/05/2012 16:26

hee hee reastie, you are wasted as a teacher I tell you! You should be running some major company with your deals and being headhunted etc Wink I missed the talk about the fees, just how much are you talking? It's a personal thing but I loved the gym with a passion when I used to be fit go, it gives you a real boost so I think do it and use it as a mood lifter as well as a get fit place (on the proviso you still have enough money for the mortgage that is!).

Hi blizy, I too would like to know what happened with the frozen prawns; come on ledkr!

Thanks for lovely comments about B's pics, we may have the most 'spirited' babies but they are also the most gorgeous IMHO Grin

Having a weird day, no sleep last night thanks to B and today feel faint and no appetite. Guess it's just tiredness so thank god OH is home tonight and will be 'on duty' (he's hardly been home the last few days due to flippin Aikido).

Forgot to mention this in my last post but, how glamourous is this? I have herpes on my collarbone Shock Doc said it's either shingles or the cold-sore virus and I'd left it too late for antiviral drugs so now I have a rather fetching decolletage Hmm So itchy but so painful at the same time, great.

reastie · 30/05/2012 16:37

needto for Alice and I to have a monthly contract at the gym here it would cost £100 a month (yes, you read that right Shock Shock ) but if I sign up for a year and do it via work it's £75 a month for us both Grin . Btw, I'm not considering Alice to bullk up in the gym btw - they have a lovely pool there Wink . Hope OH comes home soon - I feel faint when I get really tired but I just get hungry sadly. If you ate something it might help the faintness?? Oh, forgot to update on the raw fishfingers last night - Alice had beans on toast in the end Hmm . Sad to the herpes - I had no idea you could get it on your collarbone btw - have you managed a medical first?!

blizy another week? Angry

NeedToSleepZZZ · 30/05/2012 16:56

Shock Shock Shock Shock Shock I agree with wiggles in that for that money I'd want someone to do the exercise for me Grin. I still think that, although it's vair expensive, it is a very positive thing so if you can then do it!

blizy Hope hometime has arrived and you are relaxing now, how's Alfie doing? Will start wishing the week away for you now.

No medical firsts, apparently it can appear anywhere on your body at any time if you have the virus which i caught from my lovely ex at age 17 but is more likely to happen when you're stressed/ run down from, say, lack of sleep Hmm

ledkr · 30/05/2012 18:38

Ouch to the herpes needto poor you can imagine how painfull that must be.

blizy that is a long wait, you'll be pregnant by then Grin

Well I went to bed with my crisps and vino and he came up at about 9 and announced he was "cooking dinner" it would appaer he had made a "Stir fry" peppers and mushrooms and prawns Grin as there was evidence when i got up AT 5.30, Yes you Delilah Hmm We didnt speak until this morning when i kindly pointed out that if i paid a nany i would expect some light house work.
He agreed and has done a small amount of cleaning although to be fair D is very clingy today and weeps dramatically if you put her down Confused

Nans funeral tomorrow. Bro and fav auntie are back so its nice to see them.

debka · 30/05/2012 19:49

Well needto you're really living up to your name, you poor sausage :( Hope Ben starts sleeping better soon so you can catch up yourself. Everything's bloody awful when you're exhausted. btw are you sure you're not upduffed?

reastie bloody hellfire that's expensive. You'd have to be there twice a day to get your money's worth I reckon!

ledkr will be thinking of you tomorrow, have you prepared something to say?

Fecking knackered today, spent the afternoon at the beach, which was nice, with the pils, which wasn't so. Ho hum. Had a blazing row with DH yesterday too- well, he had a blazing row with me, I wasn't really in the mood. Didn't really get what he was so exercised about. Didn't really care either, which worried me slightly...

On the plus side I got my 6st award last night , lost 6st 2lb in total so far now, Everything is starting to look decidedly saggy though :(

blizy · 30/05/2012 20:08

Wow Debka that is something to be hugely Proud of! Are you going to start some toning exercises? I would have no idea where to start. Sorry you had a row with Dh, hope everything is ok?

Needto you poor thing, sleep deprivation is utter torture. I really feel for you, I haven't had a proper night sleep since Zoe died and im pretty much used to functioning (just) on a few hours sleep.

Ledkr- I will be thinking of you tomorrow. X
