Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Emski76 · 01/06/2012 20:12

Hi all
I have at last added a piccie of my new hair, Ben took the photo today, plus some of my boys.

Led, sorry about the late sleeper envy you had this morning, feel a bit bad now as you'd had such a rotten night with D. If it helps I ended up sleeping in Noahs room on the sofa bed on Friday and Sat night last week as he was so unsettled and wouldn't sleep without me being in his room!

Deb, ouch and ooh to poor Bean, I would have been exactly the same. Glad all seems ok ish now though. I too have been lairy mummy with Ben for the last few days. Poor thing. As a treat Im taking him to @Bristol tomorrow, just me and him. Mil bought us membership for Xmas so no cost!!

This weekend we are at church Sunday then having a yummy Sunday roast and chilling. Jubilee party at in laws on Monday and street party here on Tuesday. Am ever so slightly excited and have my union jack t-shirt, flip flops and sunglasses, courtesy of mil, at the ready!!

Have good evenings y'all

wigglesrock · 01/06/2012 20:43

Evening all,

debka poor S and poorer you - have you started necking the vodka yet? We had a bit of a crying/shouty afternoon here, I was hot and bothered after work, all 3 girls were absolutely knackered and crying and snivelling and snotty and lets just say in the end, I put them in the spare room, closed the door and had a few deep breaths and expletives were muttered, then all was good Grin

ledkr glad your Nans service went well xx

blizy you know you never have to explain on here, sweetheart xx

ponyo hope today went easier for you than you had thought, if not I believe debka is passing the vodka round xx

No big Jubilee plans here - quelle surprise Grin Although Mr W is on Olympic torch guard duty on Sunday Grin, I thought he was taking the piss but he is actually part of the standby team, tbh two toddlers taking part in a 3 legged race could outrun him but everyone else is on holiday so he's been bumped up Grin

I'm working a split shift tomorrow [poo], we are closed Mon and Tue but have to work Wednesday instead [double poo].

reastie have a lovely half term Grin

wigglesrock · 01/06/2012 20:46

emski loving the hair Grin and the photos

ILovePonyo · 01/06/2012 21:38

Hello just a quick one to say its over and done with, was v horrible but it's over with now and I do feel relieved. Thanks for all the good wishes and I'll be back tomo with a proper post Smile x x

Grannyapple · 01/06/2012 21:46

emski love the hair...& your boys are adorable!

reastie I think we live kinda close to each other...I'm trying to figure out which gym your thinking of joining at that price....is it Nuffield?! I got to virgin & Nate is also a member so that we can use the pool (& I can put him in the Creche once a week)...it's £68 for both of us there...I usu go at least twice a week for me & also to make sure I get some value for money at that price!

Well thank god the holiday w/e is here at last...it's kinda crept up on me, but am off to majorca for my SIL's hen w/e. at first I wasn't that fussed about going, but now it's here, I am soo looking forward to some sun, cocktails ...& a bit of peace with no worried about N & the next mealtime, constantly tidying etc Grin.

He was a wee monkey today...laughing & waving at me during nap times as I left the room...obv no intention of sleeping. He eventually did go this morning but only after using the cot as a trampoline & rattling the slats on the cot. Needless to say he didn't go down for one this arvo...was waving & running between the bedrooms each time I tried to settle him..oh well, tis dh's problem for the long w/e [gein]. Was working from home today too so only just logged off from laptop as was trying to get things done to make life easier for Wednesday, no thanks to N!!

Sorry, but of a me' post...hope everyone is having good start to the w/e....dh is snoozing on sofa now...mouth open & all...v attractive..Grin

Grannyapple · 01/06/2012 21:47

Sorry x post ponyo...at least it's out of the way now...hoping it might be easier here on in...

tadjennyp · 01/06/2012 22:17

Glad it's over and done with Ponyo.
Poor Bean! Hope she has a good night and forgets about it quickly.
Hope Dils sleeps well tonight ledkr.
Love the hair Emski and the jubilee plans. A friend sent me some bunting so I might stick a load up to compete with all the stars and stripes round here!
Hope you enjoy the weekend wiggles!
Have a great time in Majorca Granny! Sounds wonderful.
Hope everyone else is having a fab long weekend too!

ledkr · 02/06/2012 08:41

Im well jel of grannys hen do. Have fun.

deb gosh poor beanie, and poor you. I tried to run too but its too hot for all that milarky will go to gym tomorrow.

D slept better last night thank god. About 7-6.30 so fab. we were in bed by 9 it was lush I slept the sleep of the gods.

I am taking the girls to the jubilee celebrations in town today,im quite looking forward to it will be taking a picnic. Wont be dressing up etc as im not really patriotic, not proud of britain or the royals so am being a bit of a hypocrite in taking advantage of the festivities Grin

Have booked a nice campsite for few days next week,it looks lovely and we are so excited to try out our van,i hate packing though.

D is great today, she had bacon and egg for b fast and is now watching night garden whilst munching on some raisins.

NeedToSleepZZZ · 02/06/2012 11:32

Morning all,

ledkr I'm with you on the non-patriotic thing but feel as if I should take B to something for the free food so that he'll have a memory of it when he's older if that makes sense. I remember going to a Charles and Di wedding party at my nan's and enjoying it and I must have been about 4. Have fun camping Grin

wiggles you always bring a smile to my face with your tales of MrW Grin. Triple poo for work though!

deb How is Sabine today? Poor little sausage, bet you felt worse than her though! I would've been exactly the same.

granny Woo hoo to the hen weekend, hope you have a great time, am slightly Envy at the prospect of proper sunshine and time to relax...

ems Love the hair! Really suits you and looks like a very professional haircut unlike the one I've just given my mum Your boys are so adorable Smile

ponyo So sorry to hear it didn't go well, I hope you have some time to yourself today to have a drink wind down as it takes a toll emotionally. Thanks

tad even though I'm anti-royal, I love the idea of you hanging out the bunting to the bemusement of your neighbours and passers-by Grin When is the big trip? Must be coming up soon!

reastie I hope your MIL's jubilee party isn't too irritating, maybe Alice could develop a little cold and only stay for a little while Wink?

Well, the non sleeping one only slept for one night unfortunately It was great though, I felt like a new woman on Friday! I think you're right wiggs, in that you just get used to surviving on a few hours here and there. We've changes his bedtime routine so he's not feeding to sleep at last Blush. I have become slightly addicted to In the Night Garden, we watch it whilst he has his milk and it's very soporific!

No great plans this weekend, got my DB coming down today from the big smoke so looking forward to seeing him. I bought a new spotty midi skirt yesterday and now worrying that I look a bit like <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?um=1&hl=en&biw=1279&bih=679&tbm=isch&tbnid=MTrUPhD44ywX0M:&imgrefurl=www.willandkatedaily.com/post/Kate-Middleton-See-Through-Dress-SOLD-(To-A-Guy)-for-%2412587.aspx&docid=zkle2GivsaRImM&imgurl=www.willandkatedaily.com/Blog_Storage/files/2011/4/princess-diana-see-through-dress.jpg&w=295&h=443&ei=c-vJT9GwBcer8QOKxsXMDw&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=824&vpy=126&dur=1626&hovh=275&hovw=183&tx=99&ty=111&sig=105681193409134496408&page=1&tbnh=168&tbnw=120&start=0&ndsp=20&ved=1t:429,r:4,s:0,i:77" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">this as think it might be see through Shock

blizy · 02/06/2012 15:11

Needto- now that is a head turning look.Grin. I'm sure you will look fab though.

Was at the balloon release it was lovely, although fucking fil and sil gate crashed again! RageAngry. However, we ignored them and went off on our ownGrin.

ledkr · 02/06/2012 18:26

blizy why do they do that,as if they care? bastards.

Well ladies we have had such a fab day i had to share. Went to the jubilee fete in the posh part of town, face painting, punch and judy, bbq, fairy cakes, crown making,it was lovely. Then to the beer gardens for live music and a picnic,D was in her element dancing to bob marley with a sarnie in one had, nappy sagging from all the juice Grin me and dil just had beers and lay on a blanket singing along, was really good. D is in such a good mood today, she has really made us laugh.

reastie · 02/06/2012 18:33

needto have you got a slip you can stick under the skirt? Hope Ben decides tonight is the night to start sleeping through again and btw you were a little psychic there with using the excuse of Alice having a cold - she actually does have a cold! She's been pretty moany all day and am not looking forward to tonight as I don't think we will have a good night.

blizy saw the photos of the balloon release on fb Angry at FIL - he never learns does he Hmm . Would your DH have a word with him about it?

ledkr yeah to your night of sleep. I slept quite well too and woke up at 6:45 and couldn't believe my eyes Grin funny how what used to be an early week end wake is now considered a lie in isn't it

ponyo glad it's all over for you

deb yes no problem to meet somewhere else - do you have any ideas? We shall have to pm during this week to sort something out - if it's nice weather then outside somewhere would be good. Are you a national trust member or anything You're welcome here if you dare like Grin

I have my gym induction tomorrow and am a bit quivery about it Blush . They will do my weight and body fat on a posh machine they have so every month (or whenever I want it) they track and log my details so I can see how I'm doing and tailor a workout for me (this is maybe why I pay so much Hmm ) - I hope the gym is quiet as I'm a bit wobbly about being so fat at a gym full of slims (although I know no one will care hopefully ).

reastie · 02/06/2012 18:34

xposted ledkr sounds like a great time. Wonder if my infamous PIL tea party tomorrow will be so fun Hmm

blizy · 02/06/2012 22:50

ledkr Your day sounds fab!

No reastie dh won't say anything to him.

I was so angry. I was writing out a card to attatch to the balloon and sil was roaring and sobbing (all for show and attention) I was quite embarrassed, the place was full of bereaved parents and not one acted the way she did.

I had a nice night, i took my wee sis to the cinema to see snow white and the huntsman, it was ok. Chris Hemswort made it better though. Grin

I wonder what state dh will stagger home tonight/in the morning. I'm still pretty pissed off he went out tbh. Ah well at least I am getting all the Alfie snuggles.

NeedToSleepZZZ · 03/06/2012 09:05

blizy Angry at your fil and sil, glad you and DH got away from them. You're going to be so prepared with all this sleeplessness!

reastie good luck for tomorrow, tell the instructor you've just done the shred and you'll earn hardcore points Grin. Sorry about A, hope I didn't tempt fate their! Hope you milk it she's better soon .

Very quiet on here tonight, hope you're all having good Saturday nights!

NeedToSleepZZZ · 03/06/2012 09:13

Superb x post there Blush

stupid talktalk

ledkr · 03/06/2012 09:49

oh dear blizy sil sounds ridiculous,im always wary of massive outbursts of emotion around people more affected by the bereavment. We had to tell my dsis to tone it down a bit at the funeral because of Mum,some people are so ott. I want to think that its nice of them to come but you clearly know them better Hmm Next time id ask them not to come or to attend separately because you find their "grief" hard to deal with and you would prefer to be alone. Ill tell them if you dont want to Grin

reastie · 03/06/2012 21:22

Very quiet here tonight - anyone would think you actually have lives Wink not me Grin

blizy how are things now re: dh and family in laws turning up? What state was DH in?

needto hope you actually manage to sleep tonight

forgot to say before but ems love the new 'do Grin

Thanks for that tempting fate in the cold there needto [sigh] - Alice quite unwell with a fever and coldy thing - she just sits on our laps looking all pathetic with a face as white as a sheet and dark red eyes Hmm and screams when we move Sad . DH still thought we should take her to PIL tea party but tbh I think she would have been better off sitting quietly at home but didn't want to turn it into an issue between us so we went. Hoping she sleeps tonight but I doubt it - poor thing seems just too ill to do anything except babysign to watch in the night garden

debka · 03/06/2012 21:36

I'm here reastie, watching Live At the Apollo, you've gotta love Michael Macyntyre (or however you spell it!)

Poor little Alice poorly again :( Hope you get some sleep tonight.

Beany is fine now but The Plaster is still on. Whenever I mention 'finger' she shows it to me with an imploring expression Grin. One side effect seems to have been she's dropped a nap- since she can't suck her fingers to get off to sleep she's needed to be absolutely done in before she'll nap. Fine by me, much easier to get out and about.

Got my shapewear, forgot to tell you. I look a sexy beast in it, oh yes Grin. It does smooth my tummy down a bit when I'm standing up, but then I sat down and it went twizzle twizzle twizzle and rolled up into a sausage round my belly button Grin

wigglesrock · 03/06/2012 21:58

debka Grin I have had the same issue with hold in underwear, plus in my case the excess fat has to go somewhere usually I end up with something that resembles a fat back Grin

blizy poo to sil, fil Angry, but glad you and dh were able to escape and remember Zoe yourselves.

ledkr hope you have a great time with the van Grin

reastie poor A, hope she is feeling better soon xx Did you go to the gym induction?

All quiet here, we're not jubilympicing Grin, Mr W ensured the safe passage of the torch today so he is rewarding himself with some gin in celebration of her most majestic Majesty Grin He has started watching what he eats and started the couch to 5k last week and has lost quite a bit of weight already Envy

We are all off for a few days, Sofia has a party to go to tomorrow so am lazing about tomorrow and heading to the beach on Tue, which is the day its supposed to piss down here Shock

debka · 03/06/2012 22:05

wiggles doesn't it always piss it down there?

Night all!

wigglesrock · 03/06/2012 22:08

debka was lovely day fecking freezing but dry today, [sticks out tongue], great for all those street parties we weren't having Grin

blizy · 03/06/2012 23:08

Reastie- poor Alice, hope she is better in the morning. Dh was fine Shock he says he is watching what he was drinking due to ttc- I have him trained and he doesn't even know it!Wink

Wiggles- our weather has been much the same. No parties here either.

Debka- my pull in pants do the rolling down thing too, it's tres annoying!

ledkr · 04/06/2012 09:53

Morning all. Im loving these few days off to drink wine every night .

Dh has been working but is off tomorrow. We are out tonight to watch ds1 dj in a club, should be a great night (hic)

Im taking the girls to a st fair today in the posh part of town, vair naice. Then to the rougher bit for a pig roast Grin big contrast there see.

deb I did warn you to get an all in one suit, that way its just compressed rather than distributed Grin

Well i better get moving,d slept till 7 so i am feeling all bushy tailed Grin

ILovePonyo · 04/06/2012 11:08

Hello all, well A is sleeping after getting up at 6 and being a grumpy baby all morning because she was tired Hmm and dp is in bed with a headache. I'm feelig a bit rubbish after Fri (whihc was crap but won't go into it) I think that I thought I might feel a bit better when I had got some of my dads belongings (I have one of his jumpers) and also his ashes, however I its just sunk in more that won't see him again so am feeling somewhat rubbish. Boo :( Don't want to be all gloomy though Blush (stupid jubilee isn't helping though - I don't give a shite! And I know I'm not the only one on here Wink)

deb I bought a tummy flattening vest from m&s and it alsways rolled up when I sat down, annoying! Glad Beanys on the mend, I cringed when I read about her finger poor little mite. Grin at her doing an imploring expression, love it.

reastie hows A? Hope she slept well for you. Despite me moaning about jubilee I still think your house looked lovely on fb Wink

ledkr your day sounds good, well pig roast does anyway (yum)

blizy Hmm at sil, think ledkr has put it well and you just tell her that her grief is hard for you next time. I want to see that snow white film but is it for kids?!

Needto how is the spotty skirt?! I did Grin at your picture. Hope you've been sleeping more?

wiggles I am jealous of MrW losing weight in a week Shock Enjoy your lazy day.

Right better go, A's awake...
