oh dylth really sorry to hear that. how are you doing?
kk such a relief that it wasn't something that needed surgery. hope the poor darling is feeling better and you get some rest tonight
we are a bit food-obsessed here aren't we mlic? never clicked before!
talking of which - those triple choc cupcakes i did the other day were divine. best i've made. i'm having a toss-up between doing them again or the apple muffins tomo.
vik totally second what trudy said about not feeling guilty about having another baby. it really won't be long until you look at them playing together and realise it was the best gift you could have given D. i had one of those magic moments yday watching my two holding hands and singing row the boat together.
just heard from tsc that they're in a&e with F loving all the attention he's getting from smelly drunks
tbh mlic it's thought to be quite hard to be protein deficient if you're eating a varied diet as so many things contain protein. you're probably eating lots of things (baked beans? milk? peanut butter? humous? eggs? peas? oats?) which contain it which you're not thinking of. if you're weight training, lots of exercise etc then you'd need more but otherwise you're probably cool. most of the western world have too much (animal) protein if anything and it's possibly linked to an increase in various illnesses and possibly calcium loss.
had a mad day at work today but starting to feel a bit more on top of life/home/everything at last. I got a great appraisal from my manager on thurs too which was a bit of a surprise tbh but it's made me realised i'm handling things better than i thought i was.
F was sooo cute on the way home from nursery today. we went via waitrose and i said he could choose a treat and he chose a strawberry soya milkshake to drink as he walked. halfway home he said 'thankoo [sic] mummy. it's so lucky to be able to have a milkshake, isn't it?' melt
