ledkr Although I am jealous that you are losing weight, I am not prepared to give up my wine! I had two beers last night and was a bit dehydrated this morning. Heaven knows what I'll be like on Sunday morning!

mizk C sounds so cute with her sharing. R will only share things she doesn't really want herself. Hmm

ponyo I hope A cheers up soon. Must be hard without DP too.

Agh. Page has moved and I can't remember everything everyone has been up to.

jane I hope your official wedding went well and that tomorrow is everything you have dreamed of.

R is currently climbing all over me in her PJ's. They had to wear them to nursery today for Children in Need - v cute but am amazed she hasn't pooed on them! Oh, and you've all made me feel like a mean mummy, I'm sure R's sleeping bag is only 1 tog and she goes to bed just in her pyjamas. The room is always at 18 though and she never complains. She has a blanket on top of her sleeping bag though but usually kicks that off after three minutes or so!

Hi folks, just wanted to say I have posted a thread in car seats, as I am totally confuddled about what to do next, so if anyone has any words of wisdom, please let me know!

Dx

ILovePonyo · 18/11/2011 19:38

How do, well I won;t be missing dp too much longer MizK, he is coming home tomo, they are leaving on the bag that is draining fluid (eww) but said he'll go back in next fri to have that removed so can come home. Who wants to bet how long it'll be before I am moaning about him Grin

ledkr that is good about the lack of vino, I enjoyed mine t'other night but usually don't bother b'cos I hate the feeling when I have to get up in the middle of the night or early morning. I am not losing my belly fat however Angry

MizK Cass is so cute! A either grabs her food in both fists or throws it disdainfully on the floor Hmm She is also a neglected looking snotty child, I have the choice of wiping and putting up with screaming and crying, or leaving it and having a grub for a baby Grin

choco A did cheer up but she was either crying or laughing Confused Weirdo. R must be a warm baby! You're not a mean mummy though Wink

Thinking of jane today - hope she is having a fantastic time!

ILovePonyo · 18/11/2011 19:39

delia am off to nosy at your car seat thread as am clueless too :)

ledkr · 18/11/2011 19:40

delias I just broke my car seat by leaning on the side to rewach into type car Shock It was 2nd hand from a mate but hadnt been in any crashes. Will have to fork out for another now grrr.

Can i also say,i havent totally given up a drink but "weekends" were becoming Thursday-Sunday or Monday,i was feeling ratty and shit in the mornings too even after just one or two vinos.
The other thing is that i was eating okish but not shifting any weight and my gunt tummy is flabby and vile.I have amate who is very skinny but drinks a lot and always has a big fast middle so i figured id try it.It hard at first but id rather give up booze than yummy food.

Am hoping to keep it up until Dh's xmas do when i will need a drink cos ent actually that partial to coppers Grin big headed bigots most of them and the women.dont get me started, they seem to wear lots of foundation troweled on and a bit of mascara Hmm a pony tail and some 80's clothes and bobs your uncle. God knows why the infidelity rate is so high in the police force Confused They hate me with my blonde hair and drunken antics. So i shall have to partake on that occasion Grin

wigglesrock · 18/11/2011 20:00

ledkr really glad D is on the mend and back to ruling the roost Grin

I had sinus pain (I think) last month, I can't take anything like Sudafed, makes me hurl, but I rinsed with salted water and it seemed to make a difference, I also kept necking the co-codamol Grin. But I have had terrible gum pain the past few days - have emergency dentists appt for Mon afternoon and my work got arsey when I mentioned I'd be leaving 30 mins early Angry I get such terrible hangovers now after even two drinks that I can't be arsed anymore.

ponyo glad dp is on the mend and I'm sure he'll be under your feet home soon.

NeedTo glad things are going postively xxx

I feel like a bad Mummy Grin, all of mine just sleep in a vest, babygro/pjs and a cellular blanket. I only ever used a grobag with Olivia and it was not a huge success.

Oh God meant to say Olivia has a new idol - she came home from nursery singing a song, Mr W and I had a minor disagreement about the song, anyway it was Swagger Jagger by Cher Lloyd - Olivia just kept singing the opening two lines Shock I found in on Virgin on Demand for her and she insisted on watching it 3 times before bed Shock.

ledkr · 18/11/2011 20:26

at cher Lloyd being any little girls idol,my dd's prefer Germaine Greer Grin I hate all the skinny girls the girls fawn over altho els is a skinny mini herself, not sure dills will be tho.

She has begun to resist bedtimes. She used to always fall asleep on the bedtime bottle but has recently been struggling to stay awake and then sits up and starts squirming and moaning, shes so tired tho.I normally have to grapple with her and force her to go off but tonight she was awfull, really hurt my boob scars,i felt fuming and had to get dh to have her quickly. Am probably going to have to do a bit of cc at bedtimes soon cos i cant be having it when dh is at work and ive also got Ella to sort out.
Obviously cant do much at the moment tho.

Btw, d has lots of blankets and a bag.

janedoe25 · 19/11/2011 00:06

Yay I am now mrs B GrinGrin proper eddying day tomorrow though, I am shitting myself and slightly tipsy. Grin

tadjennyp · 19/11/2011 00:47

Congratulations Jane! Have a wonderful day tomorrow too! xxx

wigglesrock · 19/11/2011 06:33

Anna and I up for work Shock Grin

jane raising a Brew to the new Mrs B, have a fabulouso (courtesy of Olivia) day today, ps I can still remember the nerves at my wedding (oh so long ago) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Grin

ponyo hope you get dp home today.

grannyapple is Nate on the mend? Hope you got some sleep.

deliaskis wasn't ignoring your thread - any carseat thread I've ever read plummets into a bunfight after about 10 mins Grin. I have Anna in a front facing seat (up to 4 years one).

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend.

wigglesrock · 19/11/2011 07:38

deliaskis had a nosy at the thread, no bunfight Grin, of course that may have been due to the calibre of the lovely posters on it! I know that rf seats are recommended especially for protection in head on collisions but when I was looking at seats for O, the protection for rear/side shunts was variable. As I sit in "school" traffic a lot or more honestly I have reversed twice into the man across the roads' car since Annas been born Blush I went for forward facing , obviously the fact that we have 3 car seats across our back seat made a difference as well.

janedoe25 · 19/11/2011 08:49

I am getting married today GrinGrinGrin so tired though I have been awake most of the night ( Borg you should have let me sit Nate last night!). Dad is making me brekkie then it's systems a go! I get married at 2 for those who want to know. Speak to you all laters Grin

Emski76 · 19/11/2011 08:55

Jane all the best my lovey lady. Enjoy enjoy xxxxxxxxx

americanexpat · 19/11/2011 17:21

jane - I hope your wedding was absolutely lovely. You and your new DH deserve every bit of happiness.

L is sick, had a fever last night which seems to have gone but he has a cough and runny nose now. Friends are watching him tonight while DH and I have our very first night out alone. Shock I warned them about him being sick but they said it was fine. We shall see.

ManCrushedToDeathByALift · 19/11/2011 19:51

Quickie cos we have friends (Shock) over but CONGRATULATIONS MRSJANE!!!!! Grin Grin Grin

wigglesrock · 19/11/2011 20:23

jane and Mr jane many many congratulations - hope you are both shaking your asses on the dance floor. jane you can have a night off to enjoy your maritals Grin but we want a long post with all the details at some point in the next 48 hours or so, or God not detail of your maritals - of the day I mean Grin. Every happiness sweetheart xxx

reastie · 19/11/2011 21:21

Thanks all for the sleepwear advice. I don't think a blanket would work for us at all as alice craawls around the cot crying alot before she sleeps

Hope everything went smoothly for mrsjane and she is boogying to summer nights from Grease as I write this (oh yes jane I remember how much you love grease esp dressing up as a pink lady Hmm Wink )

american healthy vibes to L and hope you enjoy your night out

ledkr how was D tonight getting her to sleep? Well done on the no alcohol btw.

Well, I've still got a poorly baby and still not sure if it's teething, a cold or both. She's really struggling to sleep at the minute . We had a PIL visit this morning and I came away feeling Angry and manipulated as I'm 90% sure they lied about something in order to visit (too tired to be bothered to go into details) and felt annoyed the whole afo.

hubbard86 · 20/11/2011 14:50

happy birthday jane and congrats on becoming mrsjane. I hope you have had a fab few days.
Reastie freya is the same. I think it's a bit of both. She is a bit off her food but drinking lots of milk so not too worried.

americanexpat · 20/11/2011 15:11

reastie - L sleeps in a sleepsuit and 2.5 tog sleeping bag during the winter (no vest). During the summer, only a sleepsuit because his room faces south and gets warm.

We had a lovely night out, L managed to not completely destroy our friends' flat. He was sleeping on the floor when we picked him up, he heard us talking, raised his head and crawled over to me to be picked up. :) He's really congested today and was up 7 times last night, just wanting a bit of comfort and be rocked back to sleep. He's hardly touched his food or milk today.

ILovePonyo · 20/11/2011 16:54

Hello all, nurse Ponyo here Grin dp is ok but still shuffling about like an old man. A was up a fair bit last night too, even a bottle didn't send her back to sleep Confused
Had a bit of a scare today, she was crawling and slipped and landed on her face, had a big scream then went to sleep, when I got her up there was blood all over her mouth and chin, she had a tiny cut on the inside of her lip so nothing major but it was a shock seeing her with blood on her face! Shock

Anyway jane how is life as a married woman?! And happy birthday, good memory there hubbard Wink ooh I hope we get to see a couple of piccies :)

reastie I don't know if A is teething or what but she is not right either, poor babies must be that time of year. Hmm to pil, hope you're ok, feel free to vent later nosy Oh my plan is to put A to bed in her layers and grobag and then put a blanket on her when she is settled, well thats the plan anyway...

wiggles hope work is/has been ok for you.

ledkr Grin at use of the word 'gunt', made me chuckle. Have you and Borg been watching walking dead? I had a scary zombie dream last night after watching the last 2 episodes then got a bit freaked out when I was getting dd's bottle ready at 3am and it was all misty outside

HI everyone else, A is currently asleep next to me on the settee after she fell asleep with me stroking her hair Shock
