tadjennyp · 16/11/2011 18:29

That last bit was to wiggles, obviously!

ManCrushedToDeathByALift · 16/11/2011 19:43

reastie 2lb is a lot, that's almost a whole bag of sugar! If you're feeling hungry all the time, try eating more but more healthy food, eg fruit, veg soups, eggs and quorn sausages, baked potatoes and beans. How many feeds does Alice have a day now? Is she starting to cut down? At this age Imy was having I think 4 a day.

wiggs Grin enjoy your night!

choc Envy 14 parcels!! anything for me?

ponyo let us know how DP is. Hope bedtime went well for you tonight.

Well my 2 were both in bed by 7, both knackered. Hard work clinging onto Mummy all day evidently Hmm

ILovePonyo · 16/11/2011 19:50

Hello all. Well A is in bed and asleep, am v grateful she didn't fuss too much! Mr Ponyo is fine, well very drugged up haha, the op went fine (I think, he didn't really say Grin) Me and A paid him a quick visit in hospital but didn't stay long as he was tired. He'll be staying in tonight and maybe tomo night too. Thanks for all asking and being nice, it did help when I was feeling a bit worried.

wiggles ladynoys Shock always reminds me of Alan Partridge (knowing wink to reastie)

Also reastie well done on the weight loss, its better than nowt and surely slowly and surely is the way to keep it off? ff lady sounds like a div though - bet you'd never thought of having a stir fry Hmm Hmm

Dolly thanks for posting about ledkr. Lovely to hear D is doing well, what a brave girl.

choco I was going to say I can't believe how much you got done, but post-baby I can believe it!! Well done you, also pleased to hear work is going well, always a relief. How horrible for your friends, definitely appreciate what you have doesn't it :)

Borg Grin at N staring creepily, thats what A does too, the only people she smiles at are the dodgy looking weirdos!

Hello everyone else I have a Wine in the fridge for me later, hope ledkr has some too!

ILovePonyo · 16/11/2011 19:52

What are ladynoys Hmm

x post deb ManCrushed thanks and def a relief bedtime went well. Grin at it being hard work clinging to mummy all day - have you been a human climbing frame today?!

Emski76 · 16/11/2011 19:57

Good to hear all went well today for Ledkrand Dilly, and Ponyo's oh.

Reastie, 2lb is good! The slower you lose it the easier it will be to keep off. And as for the ff lady, she needs to be told where she stick her advice!

Choc, you got loads done today. I always plan to do loads when the boys aren't around but seem to end up sat watching tv!

Sorry, I can't remember all the other stuff as tea is waiting for me and my tummy is rumbling. Will catch up again tomorrow

janedoe25 · 16/11/2011 20:01

ponypglad to hear do is fine, enjoy your wine,Grin

wiggles enjoy the ladyboys.

reastie 2lbs is fab don't let anyone tell you otherwise!

Well I am pampered and preened to an inch oft life. Only have to take stuff to the wedding venue tomorrow and that's is done! Only 3 more sleeps GrinGrin

chocoroo · 16/11/2011 20:38

You'll all be relieved to hear I am now slobbed on sofa with some malteasers (I shouldn't eat them, won't do my bonus or my waistline any good!). Am so happy with how much I got done, just our room and bathroom to sort on Friday. Don't worry emski I'll be mainly watching TV on Friday!

ponyo Glad DP is doing well. Hope it's not too stressful tonight with A. Is she whacked after nursery?

jane Three more sleeps.

mancrushed Would you believe I missed another parcel delivery while I was hoovering?! Sods fricking law. I'm trying to get most of Christmas done ASAP. I can't remember who half of it is for so some might be for you!

borg R has a deathstare too. Very dramatic.

Discovered the cutest thing earlier. At nursery they sing Wind The Bobbin Up all the time. We sang it to R after her bath and she clapped at the right points and put her hands on her knees at the end. I cried.

Could any of you tell me how much your LO's are eating at nursery? R is barely eating lunch at all and they asked if I want to send something in. I'm not going to because I think it's too early to say she won't eat nursery food but I wondered what others ate?

OP posts:
ILovePonyo · 16/11/2011 20:58

Aww choco I think I would've cried at that, how cute!! R is obv very clever. A laughs when dp sings the spongebob song which just proves we have the telly on too much Grin A seems to eat pretty well at nursery, its reassuring to know she's eating well but then annoying when shes a big fusspot at home! I wouldn't send anything in yet, give her a bit longer. Maybe its the consistency of the food - might not be pureed enough?

jane do tell what pampering you have had done, you glamourpuss Grin I have a lovely Wine now btw then bed soon :)

emski enjoy your tea!

reastie · 16/11/2011 21:11

aww choc that's so cute. The most excitement alice gets is grinning and giggling when I put the potiphar song from joseph and the amazing whatsit on - for some reason she LOVES it Hmm

Four4me · 16/11/2011 21:18

So glad to hear that Dilly and MrPonyo are doing well post-op. Will be back tomorrow for day 1 update.

hubbard86 · 17/11/2011 00:08

so pleased dilly and mrponyo are ok. Back tomorrow.

reastie · 17/11/2011 11:53

Has anyone got any more ledkr updates? Getting a bit worried that we haven't heard anything more....

americanexpat · 17/11/2011 12:03

Great news about D and Mr Ponyo. How long will D be in hospital?

reastie - 2 lbs is great, pat yourself on the back for it. If the FF lady is not being helpful and supportive, don't feel guilty about telling her to stuff it.

tadjennyp - our visas expire next summer, DH is job hunting and has an interview in VA soon. We'd planned to move back at some point but now we have no choice as to when, have to be gone by the end of August. Hmm

jane - is tomorrow the big day?

I know I've forgotten loads of people but L is finally having a nap and there's housework to be done. Sad

wigglesrock · 17/11/2011 12:28

reastie, well done on the 2lbs - as ManCrushedByALift said its a bag of sugar - better off than on Grin

I wouldn't worry too much about D and ledkr hopefully they are spending some time cuddling. I'm not sure how long D has to stay in for.

Chocoroo R is so cute, I didn't know Wind the Bobbin until Olivia started to go to her playgroup and she taught it to all of us, that was a long and noisy week Grin

jane OMG two more sleeps xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Mr W, Anna and I went into town for a nosy today, note to self never bring Mr W into Disney Store again, he kept buying stationery for the girls with the refrain "I would have loved this if I was 6"

Show was fab last night, really good fun. My Mum had some issues about the concept of Lady Boys but we got there in the end, she had soooo many questions Shock it was threatening to turn into an episode of Phoenix Nights but the dancing and wine and more wine helped her to finally grasp the concept.

wigglesrock · 17/11/2011 12:35

ponyo hope dp is on the mend and still enjoying the medication Grin

janedoe25 · 17/11/2011 13:08

2 more sleeps until the wedding but we actually get married tomorrow. We have the same civil celebrant conducting the service who done Zoe's funeral. However she can't legally Marty us, do we are going to the deed at the local town hall tomorrow .we ate only having 2 witnesses a
D treating saturday as our wedding day!

Hope dilly is ok, and mr ponyo c

ManCrushedToDeathByALift · 17/11/2011 13:08

Where the heck is everyone today? Eh? You can't be letting WORK get in the way of MNing SURELY???! Wink

Looking forward to hearing from ledkr, bet she's relieved it's all over.

I'm lazing around on my arse today, Imy's with my aunt and S is asleep. Really ought to do some housework but meh.

S's bottom is still not right and now she has a chesty little cough too and is a bit croaky. She's stopped whinging so much though so I wonder if her chest has been hurting her? I dunno.

choc meant to say I am v v v v impressed at R's clapping, waving, pointing etc. We tried to teach S to wave last night, she just grinned happily at us and bashed her beaker on the table!

ManCrushedToDeathByALift · 17/11/2011 13:10

x post jane how bloody exciting :) Now when you say Do The Deed at the town hall I assume you don't mean MN dtd?? Grin

reastie · 17/11/2011 13:18

deb Alice loves doing the beaker banging too (that sounds so wrong doesn't it Shock ). Hope S feels better soon - it's been nearly a week now hasn't it?

Alice is a whiner today - she either has a cold or is teething but either way is very sorry for herself and her snotty nose - i decided to stop counting when she was up for the 6th time last night Confused . She's finally sleeping so i've managed to clear away the breakfast things at last! I feel rubbish today too and think I'm coming down with a cold myself Sad

wiggles I'm sure you're right re dilly and glad you enjoyed last night

jane hope all goes well tomorrow. It'll be a lovely little service for you, and on the plus side you get 2 wedding nights [wink wink nudge nudge]

reastie · 17/11/2011 13:19

xposted by deb and massive Grin to jane dtd at the town hall

MizK · 17/11/2011 13:40

jane yay so exciting! Can't believe your wedding is finally upon us :)

reastie eek to your bad night, hope you feel better soon.... try to relax when DH gets home, let him spoil you a bit!
ponyo hope you are being a good nurse to DP....haha :)
wiggles you are a better woman than me, cannot imagine the things my mother would come out with if confronted by ladyboys.....
deb enjoy your skive....
ledkr just checking on you and little missy, obv I'm sure you won't have time to post but you will see when you come on next we have all been thinking of you both lots and lots.
Went to baby singing today and had a bit of a judgey moment. There was a boy of around two being boisterous, all fine....HOWEVER. He was making a beeline for the littler babies and shoving and pushing them. He smacked the baby next to us in the side of the head, then turned to Cassia and grabbed her around the waist so I pulled her away. What p*ed me off was not so much the boy but that his mum sat like a lemon, letting him do all this without a peep. It really annoyed me and I so had to bite my tongue not to say anything to her, grrrrrrrr! AIBU? maybe a little?

hubbard86 · 17/11/2011 15:51

am so frustrated and mad. I have been on the phone all afternoon trying to find out whats happening with freyas appt. Keep being passed from one lacky to another all of whom don't know their head from their arse. Turns out xray haven't recieved referral from consultant and my stupid gp has not marked her referral as urgent. I can't even get through to the consultant keep leaving messages and no reply. I think if the dr has not marked it as urgent than the consultant will think she can wait. I just want to know. If there's nothing wrong than whats wasting 10mins on an xray that puts everybodys mind at rest and if something is wrong than it can be sorted out and with ddh the sooner the better. I'm just going out of my mind. I need to know. Just want to cry and forget all about it and can't as it's on my mind every second of everyday. sorry for the rant

Emski76 · 17/11/2011 16:02

Have been lurking but had to reply to Hubbard. I think we'd all be feeling at the end of our tether like you, your doing fantastically and being do strong. Is it worth ringing GP to talk to doctor and get them to call consultant to let the know it is urgent. How could they not think its urgent?!
I really do feel for you. Don't really know how to help except yo let you know we're here and listening.

No more news from Ledkr?

reastie · 17/11/2011 16:02

hubbard I can feel your upset in your post. Have a Brew and a Wine if needed. This has been going on for what must feel like ages now for you Sad . I completely get the need to know thing and I think we would all on here be exactly be the same. If you need the GP to refer urgently to get the apt then I think my next step would be back to the GP for an urgent re-referral. Make an urgent appointment tomorrow morning if you need to - I think if you wait for a regualar referral it might take longer than the GP doing it again urgently. How frustrating for you xx

ledkr · 17/11/2011 17:14

Hi girls. i just had to pop in and update you,i was going to do it tomorrow but i can see you were all a little concerned.

I am sooo proud of my little baby. She has been so brave even the nurse last night couldnt believe she was so well.
We arrived on Wed at 7.30 with a Dilly who had been fed at 3.30am so was touch and go as to if she'd last out.

She was in theatre dead on 9 and went to sleep like a dream.Of course i cried when we left and then felt bad cos dh was supporting me but his eyes were teary too. We were told it would take 3 hrs but one and a hlaf hrs later we were sent for.She was being nursed by a male nurse who was carrying her around singing to her,she was sleepy but didnt cry much just snuggled up on me.she had some bottle and managed about 30mls and didnt seem in too much pain.
We then went back to the ward where she slept on me for the afternoon having bits of milk when she wanted to and even some yogurt.
By 3 she had a little go in the playroom but then had some morphine and a long nap.
We both had beds by her cot and a little bay to ourselves with a tv so we were quite happy also chinese night in the canteen where we got staff discount . she slept her usual times really not of course forgetting her 3am bottle Hmm and not before she had ripped out her canulae and had agood play with it and all the blood that came out all over her cot Grin

This morning she trashed the playroom and we were allowed to go home by lunchtime.Everyone was remarking on how well she was doing.

When we got home she had agood old crawl around the house whilst grinning like a cheshire cat.Is now having a bath and we are braced for what ever she decides to do tonight. I have a cracking headache from lack of sleep cos it was so noisy there and i made friends with an autsitic boy who asked me questions all night "lady! what your girl doing now?" "lady, can i drink some coke now?" His name was Dom and he made me laugh so good luck Dom and thanks Grin

Early night for me after beef stew and dumplings nom nom.
