So, I've kinda caught up (I'm off work today and R is at nursery so am tackling the dump that is our house). Big kisses and hugs to ledkr and Dilly and Mr Ponyo I hope everything goes well for you all.
I don't think I can remember everything but deb/Man I LOVE the new name. I keep meaning to read more about the Mitford sisters. I gew up near Chatsworth so the one who ended up the Duchess of Devenshire is legendary round my way. I think she's still alive although her husband is dead.
jane You must be so excited. I hope everything goes well, and I'll be thinking of you on Saturday. I'm out that night with my uni girls so I'll raise a glass or two as well!
tad You've been through so much. I really respect how strong you are, I always think of you as totally sorted.
hubbard Keep hassling for that appointment. You'll soon know what you have to tackle.
Who was asking about pointing etc? R waves and claps on demand - we say "Romilly, where's your clapping?" etc and she does it. She waves bye bye to people leaving and ransoms in the pub shops. She has just started pointing but only at people she recognises, not really at stuff she wants yet. Lots and lots of babbling, we hear regularly about Bobobobobobobob and also Dadadadadadadad but I ignore the second one! She has also started standing on her own and will walk with a walker. I'm not trying to boast though! Honest!
God. I'm afraid I can't remember anything else. Was it granny who had a poorly Nate? I hope he's on the mend. And 4for I hope the ear is sorted. Agh. Am rubbish....sorry!
Had a really good start back at work. I do feel a bit guilty, but I'm loving it. I'm doing a different job which is exactly what I want to be doing and already have some juicy projects. R is settling in to nursery although her eating and sleeping are a bit wonky. She's sleeping like a trouper at night though, which I won't complain about.
I had quite a lot of bad news recently too. An old friend from school has cancer, and he's really not well and three friends have had pretty late miscarriages, two at 20 weeks and one at 12 weeks - they all found out at scans. It's really making DP and I hug Romilly all the more.
