OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
WeAreBorg · 15/11/2011 22:05

ponyo good luck for DP, I know you mentioned he was having an op a while back, must be a worry for you, sure he'll be fine.

tarlia Grin I just meant you know lots and I'm very appreciative of your helpful advice. I'm pleased you got in touch with the docs. Speaking of know it alls, where is class boffin byron?

oh gotta go, N crying, will be back in a bit.....

Grannyapple · 15/11/2011 22:06

Hi ladies...just back from emdoc...n's temp was 39.1 & he has tonsillitis apparently...got some penicillin for him so hoping it kicks in soon. Am shattered...was up 5 times with him last night after dh, feeling it now. Into work tomorrow & hopefully working from home on Thursday to relive dh of babysitting duties. And so it begins.....

wigglesrock · 15/11/2011 22:06

xposted with ledkr - good luck sweetheart, a big hug for all 3 of you and Ella Grin

ILovePonyo · 15/11/2011 22:16

ledkr hugs for you and D, can't believe its tomo tbh. It will be horrible seeing her in pain but the main thing is that you will be there and she needs you and dh the most.

reastie A says bababa and da but has no teeth so Confused Grin

granny poor N, not surprised you're shattered, hope you have a better night and he gets better soon.

Got to go A is coughing and moaning. See you tomo peeps xx

hubbard86 · 15/11/2011 22:21

now thats one thing freya can do is babble. She's so noisy has said mama dada nana and tata(tomtom) genius all at the right people. Only when she wants to though. She can also wave especially at old people and gives them grins so they then coo over her. We've decided that if she does need to go into a cast we're gonna have to do some serious fundraising as she'll need specific equipment and we can't get any money until she's been having treatment for 3 months. Just a carseat for a child in spica is over £250.

deb go you. Grin at s getting trapped in the table legs.
Freya is definatly going to be the last to crawl. Oh well she's just a genius and can't be doing with the menial tasks such as moving.

WeAreBorg · 15/11/2011 22:36

hubbard yes you mentioned you were going to try ringing the consultant again on wed. I have no clue about any of this but it really sounds like you need to know what's going on. I didn't even think about special equipment, really hope all is okay, and thinking of you both. She does sound like a genius, and massively cute. N never smiles at strangers now, he just stares creepily at them, it's embarrassing when they're cooing over him and he's giving them evils.

granny poor N, hope the penicillin kicks in soon, and hope you all manage to get some rest.

ledkr good luck!!

n mewling again, back later......

tadjennyp · 15/11/2011 22:50

Good luck for tomorrow ledkr and ponyo.

Poor Nate, granny, I hope the penicillin kicks in soon and you get some rest.

Glad O was brave, wiggles, A was excellent too and she can continue to go to school now!

Well done on the weight loss deb - you are really taking it off!

Do you know when you are going back yet american? Is it tied to the visa or just when you decide it's convenient?

Hope everyone gets a decent night tonight.

tadjennyp · 15/11/2011 23:00

Sorry x-posted and then S wanted another feed. I hope you get something sorted for genius Freya soon, hubbard.
I hope Nate gives you some peace too Borg!

MizK · 16/11/2011 09:49

Am out using my phone so will be quick, just popped on to wish ledkr and D huge good luck and will be thinking of you lots, hope everything goes smoothly. Also to ponyo hope Mr P's op goes well and that you are OK xxxxx will be back on tonight to check on you both. Hi to everybody else of course....

janedoe25 · 16/11/2011 10:14

ledkr Thinking of you and little dilly today.

Sorry folks too bust to catch up properly, I will be nervously checking my phone all day for updates of Dilly.

chocoroo · 16/11/2011 10:46

So, I've kinda caught up (I'm off work today and R is at nursery so am tackling the dump that is our house). Big kisses and hugs to ledkr and Dilly and Mr Ponyo I hope everything goes well for you all.

I don't think I can remember everything but deb/Man I LOVE the new name. I keep meaning to read more about the Mitford sisters. I gew up near Chatsworth so the one who ended up the Duchess of Devenshire is legendary round my way. I think she's still alive although her husband is dead.

jane You must be so excited. I hope everything goes well, and I'll be thinking of you on Saturday. I'm out that night with my uni girls so I'll raise a glass or two as well!

tad You've been through so much. I really respect how strong you are, I always think of you as totally sorted.

hubbard Keep hassling for that appointment. You'll soon know what you have to tackle.

Who was asking about pointing etc? R waves and claps on demand - we say "Romilly, where's your clapping?" etc and she does it. She waves bye bye to people leaving and ransoms in the pub shops. She has just started pointing but only at people she recognises, not really at stuff she wants yet. Lots and lots of babbling, we hear regularly about Bobobobobobobob and also Dadadadadadadad but I ignore the second one! She has also started standing on her own and will walk with a walker. I'm not trying to boast though! Honest!

God. I'm afraid I can't remember anything else. Was it granny who had a poorly Nate? I hope he's on the mend. And 4for I hope the ear is sorted. Agh. Am rubbish....sorry!

Had a really good start back at work. I do feel a bit guilty, but I'm loving it. I'm doing a different job which is exactly what I want to be doing and already have some juicy projects. R is settling in to nursery although her eating and sleeping are a bit wonky. She's sleeping like a trouper at night though, which I won't complain about.

I had quite a lot of bad news recently too. An old friend from school has cancer, and he's really not well and three friends have had pretty late miscarriages, two at 20 weeks and one at 12 weeks - they all found out at scans. It's really making DP and I hug Romilly all the more.

Well shock of shocks I'm actually going out tonight with my sister - off to see the LadyBoys of Bangkok, their show is beside her work and she has tickets. Oh but that's not all who's going, my Mum and ashtray aunt are also coming!! Sometimes there is not enough alcohol in the world, but wait I'm driving I'll have to do it all sober (where the feck are my sneaky smokes Grin)

chocoroo · 16/11/2011 13:38

Thank you dolly, I'm so pleased all is going ok so far.

wiggles So far I have scrubbed all the downstairs floors, sorted out six boxes of paperwork into categories, polished, cleared the dining room table of crap, cleaned the kitchen (including oven!), done two lots of washing (and turned the heating up to 25 o dry it) and collected and opened 14 parcels from Amazon which are Christmas presents. Oh, and watched Don't Tell The Bride, Sorority Girls and My Tramsgender Summer.

Who knew you could get so much done without a baby around! Next stop....upstairs!

Any one heard from ponyo?

ManCrushedToDeathByALift · 16/11/2011 14:24

Well done Dilly and ledkr, so glad it's done at last. Here's hoping her recovery is quick and easy.

ILovePonyo · 16/11/2011 15:00

Hello all, just a quick one from me as am at work but have been lurking all day looking for baby D?s news, so pleased to see she is out of theatre and doing well

Also thought I?d let you all know how dp is as you?ve all been so lovely asking, he was only one in for surgery this morning so went straight in, I?ve rung and they said to ring back at 3pm. Am feeling nervous and v nearly bought some cigs earlier, I?m sure he is fine but its the not knowing that is making me twitchy. He?s staying in overnight so hope dd is good for me later! I miss her tbh, am looking forward to picking her up from nursery.
Back later you lovely lot

WeAreBorg · 16/11/2011 15:10

Lurking in the shadows today, just popped on to see how Dilly and MrP are. Glad D is doing well, and hope all is okay for your DP ponyo

wigglesrock · 16/11/2011 17:28

ledkr hope D is well on the road to recovery. You take care of yourself as well, please sweetheart, try and get something to eat as I know you won't rest. Much love to all of you xxx

Okey dokey - off to watch a troupe of ladyboys with a pregnant Mumzilla and two post menopausal tipsy women - living the dream girls, living the dream Grin

reastie · 16/11/2011 18:18

ledkr hope things continuing to go well and that Dilly is being a star

ponyo did you ring again? How is he?

choc 14 parcels?! Poor postman!!

Well, I had my weigh in today and lost 2 lbs. Before you get excited though I'm still more (just) than I was a couple of months ago so alot of hunger for nothing really Sad . Stupid ff lady annoying me though Angry - useless advice and attitude did you know that it's better for you to eat a stir fry than a deep pan pizza? (not that I ever eat deep pan pizzas anyway) Confused

tadjennyp · 16/11/2011 18:28

Thanks choco Blush Glad you are having a lot of fun at work.

Glad Dilly is doing really well thanks dolly. Hope Ponyo gets good news from the consultant.

No, reastie, you need to celebrate that you have lost 2lbs while breastfeeding, or you will think, 'what's the point?' and then it will be for nothing. You did well!

Have fun with the ladyboys!
