Cinnamon grace is in pj's too now and she has a duvet. She didn't like having a pillow though cause it made her head sweat. I got her duvet, pillow and the duvet/pillow cases from ikea for about £15, bargain!

Ollys going to be in babygrows till he's 18!!!!! I also realised thathe's only 6 weeks younger than ds1 was when he went in his big boy bed!!!!! They're growong up so fast!

So, buggy boffins! I need a new buggy! I've jammed the brake on on mine & have been using mils maclaren. I love it! Its so easy to push. I can push it one handed & even get it up kerbs with one hand! I'm being a bit of a snob about it tho cos its very old & dirty and I want a nice new one! Anyone got a maclaren??

So, 1st period since i fell pregnant with olly! Not sure whether I should be pleased or cross! My tummy hurts, my back hurts & I don't like it!!!!!

1st period lumpy? I'm so jealous I went back to normal 6 weeks after grace was born!

I've never had a maclaren but only cause they seem to be expensive. I do love them though! And I agree that they are growing up too quick, I spent an hour last night looking at pics of grace from day one to now and I was almost in tears at how grown up she is now. I even for the briefest moment considered having another but I'm so not ready yet!

I went on the injection when he was 12 weeks so that stops them! Came off it in jan!

I've just bought a maclaren! Put a WANTED post on a page on facebook & within 10 mins had a reply! Its black & lime! DH will hate it but its not him who uses it the most! I'm picking it up tomorrow. Sooooo excited!

I was looking at videos of ds1 when he was ollys age! they're so similar!

There's never a good time to have another newmum you'd have to change your name tho!

OP posts:
newmum001 · 30/03/2012 21:24

I need a new name anyway, give me ideas people!

I really do need to wait till grace is at least 3 before I think of having another. I had severe hyperemisis (sp) with grace and was hospitalised twice and have been told there's a chance I'd have it again so can't risk being that poorly with a baby to look after.

Oooh I have new memory foam pillows and my bed is so comfy right now! Just thought I'd share that with you all, have a lovely weekend everyone!

MammyG · 30/03/2012 23:46

lumpy Phoebe had a terrible nappy rash while she was sick. I have an American cream desitin that is brilliant but that didn't even work this time.had to get canestan h. if the rash is fungal its the only thing that will work. let it dry in or use a little powder then put your regular cream on

Hellooo.
I'm very curious.
My ds was born at this time too. He has severe reflux.
Does anyone else have a dc like ds?
I just feel stuck.
X

newmum001 · 31/03/2012 10:38

Faz my dd had bad reflux when she was little, she was put on infant gaviscon and ranitidine by the doctor and they really helped a lot! Is your ds 18 months old? I would have thought reflux should have cleared up by now. Have you been to see a doctor?

fazsaeed · 31/03/2012 11:03

Hes had all the meds. Omeperzole is the only one that helps a little.
He's under gastric consultant.
He's going in for peg feeding tube put in soon.
I was just very curious if anyone is
In the same position as me.
X

newmum001 · 31/03/2012 12:14

Aww that sounds awful I hope he gets through it soon. Maybe start a thread about it I'm sure someone will have been/be going through the same thing.

fazsaeed · 31/03/2012 20:32

I have but all the dcs are younger than my ds so I thought I'd have better luck Here
Thank you anyway x

comixminx · 31/03/2012 20:52

Hi faz, sorry not to be able to help at all - no mention I can remember recently on babies on this specific thread having reflux. Good luck with the next steps in treatment - hope something works for you very soon.

Well folks, glad to say that the 20 week scan that we had yesterday was all fine and dandy! Everything as expected, no problems, all looking good. I can't scan the pix and put them up like JP did hers, as I haven't unpacked the scanner yet, sorry... there are some pics of Aphra on her little slide, though, in compensation! She's looking like a little person not a little baby any more, I know you guys are finding the same but it is lovely to see.

newmum, how about 'oldhandmum' instead?! Wink

lumpy good on you for your new machine. Hope you love it when you get it, too!

cinnamongreyhound · 31/03/2012 20:59

I don't have a scanner comixminx, I just took a photo of the scan pics. I take it as you didn't mention it you're keeping sex a surprise?

cinnamongreyhound · 31/03/2012 21:01

Sassy34264 I finally managed to run the whole 5k, did 5.25k in 38 mins! Now just got to work on pace!

newmum001 · 31/03/2012 21:39

Oldhandmum? Not sure I'm quite there yet comix lol! Saw something awful in town today, I won't go into detail but a dad really scared his son so much that he ran away from him in tears. I was so gobsmacked that I was litterally shaking with anger and everyone was staring in shock and commenting loudly about it. My sister got quite vocal about it and the awful man turned round and said "I can do what I want he's my son"! I have just sat and sobbed so much about it I think dp thought I was having a breakdown lol.

comixminx · 31/03/2012 22:16

Cinnamon, well done on the running! I could take a photo of the scan pix but last time I did that they came out wonky and I guess I'm picky... Grin yes, we're keeping the sex a surprise - we like that sort of surprise! It'll be good thinking of names for both boy and girl too.

newmum god, how horrid. Poor little (I assume?) boy.

diddlybop · 02/04/2012 19:58

Little wwyd for you lovely ladies! I bought a new car a week ago. Paid for it with my switch card. Its still not showing on my online banking! I'm going to give it a few more days but then the dilemma really starts. I have a reciept as proof of payment. Do I fess up & contact the dealer to find out whats going on or do i just ignore it & potentially walk away without paying?! The good girl in me with a conscience says ring them. The devil in me says its their mistake & its not like they would notice when the car I part exchanged will no doubt end up on their forcourt for twice what they gave me! Confused

diddlybop · 02/04/2012 19:59

Oh! its lumpylumps by the way! Fancied a change!

newmum001 · 02/04/2012 21:23

To be honest I'd ring them even though I really wouldn't want to. Purely because I'd be terrified of spending the money then not having the funds in the bank to cover the payment if they did put it through. They might just be behind with payments. What car have you got?
