stac I may have said something along the lines of - What the fuck are you doing, after about 20 mins of the toilet/water/cigarette shenanigans

needle, yes she must have seen something about wheelchairs on TV I think. Not sure what though. How's the dress coming along?

stac I put him down for a nap in bed yesterday afternoon, he woke up after half an hour so I went in there and fed him back to sleep but then I fell asleep too so we both slept for the next hour.
He was no different to usual, still had a meltdown around 5pm, I think its because he has quite a set bedtime now so he gets sleepy around the same time. If he only wants half an hour and hes happy with that then thats fine by me.

Had a good night last night, one wake up before 6, after that he wanted to get up really but I didnt so alot of wriggling around.

Shitty night here! R's been awake all through the night. Definitely think its more than a cold her throat sounds sore and her cough is terrible but she seems her usual self. My throat is now aching too. Better to get it this week than next.

dh maybe D has settled into his own routine. R's is getting earlier in the evenings and mornings unfortunately she doesn't sleep all the way through.

wss don't blame you Smile. Has a seen something on tv? Kids remember everything don't they?

Melissa my parents are going to Greenbelt this year, they'll be on a stall for a group called Festive (just in case you happen to walk past :) ) I've never been but my brother goes every year.

needle I started being sick at 6 weeks but if it's anything like the last couple of pgcies it should go by about 16 weeks. I hope you get something sorted re dress, I do a bit of sewing (dresses for L, curtains etc) and that would be one of my worst nightmares - the bit I hate most is the cutting pattern out bit, esp for a big thing!

stac I had a mini Grin too, you're always asking about all of us, you say 4 lines about you and apologise!

tsc eek! I'd be more worried about the festival tbh.

cake L's been a bit more of a pickle recently....come to think of it, S has been a frigging nightmare the last 5-6 days, must be something in the air.

mlic Confused hope there aren't any tense moments at the party.

Argh hg hope ur day improves too.

tsc good luck for the results and she'll be fine at Leeds.

Horrendous night as expected. L's ear has just perforated so another night of screaming and round of antibiotics. No date yet but hopefully soon. If I don't here anything next week i'll call the consultant. At least he should be in less pain for the weekend.

chul i'll look out for you parents stall

viks and cakes enjoy work.

Oh tense day in the tsc house! Looking forward to hearing how she does! and she will be absolutely fine at the festival! We've all been there but its just not so nice to be the parent in the situation!
Melissa the poor little thing :( have mu fingers crossed for you that you hear something soon
Hg :(. What a crap morning!
Stac E had a cough like that before and ended up on an antibiotic. I brought her into a steamy bathroom as well to help clear it.
Mlic i'm very jealous of your sleep! I have half my business plan done and i'm starting a start your own business course in september. It's 3 hours every tuesday eve for 8 weeks....my idea of torture. I have everything in place to do the rest of my business plan and have my MR done but just need to sit down for an evening and do it. Can you tell how much I enjoy this kind of thing Confused
Chul does dh get any days at home this weekend?

[materialises] Ok, I'm here properly! ... For now. This week has been a bit quieter than the mania of last week, but I've had to work a few stupidly long days in order to make back the time I needed to take off last week to deal with police/insurance companies/nursery. Then get home and continue to deal wtih all that stuff!

I'm pretty much caught up now though, so it should be business as usual in the Spirael household. [crosses fingers] I get to actually see my daughter tonight for more than 10 minutes of wolfing down dinner as a family before her bedtime!

On the plus side, my company is now looking into equiping me with a laptop so I can have the option of home working in the future. Grin Hooray!

I've done hobbyist seamstressing, Needle. :) Though my creations are normally costumes for Sci-Fi/Anime conventions or live action roleplaying games. [ uber-geek ]

I hate using fabric that has a pattern, as I'll inevitably get it upside down or back to front when cutting! My most impressive error though was spending hours making a cape for a costume, then promptly melting a big iron mark into it when I was finishing off.

Sorry to hear your day isn't going well, HotGiggity. :( I hope it improves soon and the problems get resolved as quick as possible.

TSC, I only live about 5 miles from Leeds festival and I'm around all weekend. Just send me a message if there's a situation where you need local information or a friendly body there ASAP.

There's a bad cough going around here too, Stac. For the past 10 days or so M's sounded like she's a chronic smoker. Confused The worst couple of days it caused her to vomit and was keeping her awake at night. It's finally faded now though. Hope R's improves too!

One thing we found that helped is to finally move M onto a 'big girl' pillow. Grin A full size pillow fits quite nicely across one end of the cot, and setting her half onto it keeps her head higher than her chest which seemed to ease the coughing.

She's seems so much more comfortable with a pillow and now she's well again has actually been sleeping even better than normal with it! Settling easier in the evening, lying in during the morning. :) (Disclaimer: I make no promise this effect is perpetual or universal for anyone considering a pillow upgrade!)

Anyway, I'm at work, so had better look busy for a bit...

She has bronchiolitis againSad. The usual calpol/ibrufen mix unless things get worse so I'm keeping everything cross. The doctor did say that she is liable to be asthmatic given this is her 2nd bout this year, al I could think at the time is you ought to meet poor fongs. So we've to keep an eye on her and do the steamed room thing you were talking about kk

Glad things are settling down spireal is your car fixed?
