trudyla yep, skin and all, just peel it when you or little one needs a snack. They go a bit black and yeuch-looking, (in fact very black) but the inside's fine. You can't defrost them and use them though, once they're frozen they've got to be eaten frozen or they turn into soggy mush!

Glad your dh is back memphis, you must have been worried sick. well done for making him eat your roast Grin I'm jealous actually, been craving a pork roast for weeks but if I cook it I won't be able to stomach it!

S loves the little doll we have, L has never liked it, to the point of shoving it to the bottom of the box and crying when I found it. S however carries it around lovingly and talks to it. DH was most perturbed when I told him Grin

I've just had a 2.5 hour nap...bliss, unfortunately so did L so no bedtime for her tonight.

chulita mine was lovely I did it in a giant yorkshire, dh's pork looks like leather and it took him ages to chew it but it serves him right it was ready when he went out but he said he would eat it when he returned!

chulita i've just started getting sick since about week 12 and its horrible. We've lived on soup.

We're short staffed today, so instead of visiting my friend and her baby and getting on with making my dress for Saturday, i've had to squeeze myself into a bloody frock and wait tables. Not happy at all.

Evening ladies

Had r in at nursery for enrolment today. It used to J's nursery so know loads of the staff. Anyway after hearing all your prices for nursery I was bricking it. But as I'm a student it only costs me £18 per week for 5 afternoons, its fantastic. I haven't put her in through the holidays as I'm off anyway but will have the chance of a full time place when am looking for work. We got to take her into the baby room so she could meet her teacher and the other kids which was great as she used to be J's Grin.

Sorry this is all me, ¥e,me but I am so happy things are going right for a change.

memphis glad dh is ok. How's his friend?

mlic not a nice situation. I assume your not bothered. Good news about your gp's.

melissa how's L's ears?

kk how's things with you?

chulita hope you get a sleep and L's tired out too.

viksam how you ? Are you going to brum for a break?

trudy how's M been? What date in october are you due?

Ok. I'm so stupid. I know none of you are seamstresses, but i've been such a moron- i've spent hours cutting out this dress, only to realise that i've cut half of it upside down. The left half in fact, so on one side the print goes one way and on the other side all the little pears on the fabric are upside-down. Someone slap me please.

I love u stac u always ask about everyone else and only write a few lines about urself. £18 a week!! Wow, thats amazing! Great that u know everyone too.
Im ok, just struggling at work really. D decided to be unsettled from around 5 this morning, we got up just after 6, so its been a long day! We went in the newly slabbed garden when we got home and he fell over and smacked his head on a big pebble so has a lovely grazed bruise on his eyebrow now.
Hiya Needles, how are u feeling? Have u had any sickness/uber tiredness etc? I take it u had ur 12 week scan?
Hi HG, good to see u back.
Bed!! Long day tomorrow.....boo!

viksam I agree about stac. and yes, £18 for nursery is brilliant!

poor d's head. Not looking forward to J walking, hearing about all these bumps - at least from crawling he doesn't have as far to fall!

Hi viksam, yes 12 week scan was fine thanks, I'm meeting my homebirth midwife next week too. How are you doing?

Congratters about your course btw stac, what are you going to study?

Had enough fabric left to rescue the dress, but I'm so fed up about it. I was going to use the leftovers to make a dress for g.

woods I forgot how tiring a walking child is J won't be long.

viks forgot to mention Ds head hope he's ok.

kkfairybrains · 24/08/2011 22:50

Would you be able to use the material that you done wrong to make G's dress needle?
It was absolutely brilliant stac. I love irish music anyway so it was just lovely! had E in at a lot of it and a couple of nights out too!

Report
Needle · 24/08/2011 23:00

KK, unfortunately not, I had enough leftovers originally, but I've had to use them. I'll be able to something with the cuttings, dolls clothes maybe.

Yep all ok here, dh went to a work do yesterday and came home a bit pissed, no probs, then he woke up at 2 and was pissing around for about an hour going to the toilet and going for drinks of water and cigarettes...so that woke me up. Then G woke at 4.30, who knows why (and wouldn't go back to sleep).

And I'm trying to give my house a massive clean as it's a mess and A is wheeling herself round in a doll's pram saying "My legs don't work very well...I need a wheelchair...", I have no idea where she got that from...

Report
Needle · 25/08/2011 01:06

Hit another snag: I have 4 sewing machines. Not one of them works properly. I'm clearly not meant to go to this party.

wss how odd! I wonder if she saw something on telly that gave her the idea?

stac your course sounds fascinating, how exciting for you!

[Blush] I have times when I write that I think I've just went on about me or forgot to ask about someone.

melissa poor L and you, any idea when his op will be?

wss I need to do a massive clear out for starting college as I will be out all day so want to be on top of it all. Did you kick dh's ass for being noisy?

needles that's a bugger, is there another dress you have you could alter or accessorise for the party?

kk that sounds fab, irish music is brilliant. Bet E had a ball.

Well I'm still wide awake as R has a very bark like cough so keeps waking up. She's had the cold for a couple of days and I'm hoping it doesn't turn into tonsilitus again. Dp was plagued by it when he was younger and I still get it. Suppose I better try and sleep. Night all
