Hi Tink
Nope, he couldn't cope and the Mum had to bring him home at 1.00 am.
He's been in a right state ever since. We were supposed to be decorating dd's bedroom this weekend, but had to cancel sending the dcs to my Mums so that we could have as calm, quiet and normal weekend as possible for him.
Keeping him off tomorrow morning anyway, as we think he's developing asthma, he gets seriously wheezy and unable to breathe every evening and even worse at night. Dh developed asthma as a young teen, so it seems he might be following suit.
Lost one of our dogs today (the old girl) - I was beside myself. She got through our neighbour's broken fence (that we've been asking repeatedly for them to fix for nearly a year) and then straight into the park because they don't have decent fencing at the end of their garden either.
I was running around with a torch in the pitch dark in the park calling her (she's deaf and black, so it wasn't an easy task) and couldn't find her anywhere. Eventually had to give up and come home, called the out of hours dog warden service and thank God, someone local had found her and taken her in. They found her right behind our house, but she hadn't got a collar on because of her neck op earlier this year, so they didn't know. They also thought she was injured because she has a limp, and were gobsmacked when I told her how old she was because she's so active and playful.
Anyway, all's well that ends well, she had a lovely time playing with their own dog and three children and dh went round and picked her up straight away. I have sent the family a big box of mail order muffins to say thank you.
The Betterware thing sounds stressful and annoying Tink. How inconsiderate of her not to let you know she'd left and given you a new contact. Hope you can get it all sorted quickly.
