I'm back, she's in bed!

ledkr dd is in her own room and has been for about a month I think? Just tried to look but the thread doesn't go back that far! We only put her in her room early b'cos the cot wouldn't fit in our bedroom, I was a bit worried about it but think she sleeps better b'cos we're not disturbing her (and vice versa). I still have to go and put dummy in if/when she cries but think thats more to do with not being swaddled than anything? dd manages to wiggle around her cot loads and ended up with her legs stuck in the bars the other night Hmm

Hm that was long.

ahh at wiggles and Sofia being all grown up :)

MizK glad the eldest 2 likes the cherries, am sat here having cherries and strawberries after having chips for tea Hmm naughty, I blame dp and his craving for fish and chips.

Am off to watch the progs I have recorded - britains next top model and desp housewives, thats my evening sorted Grin

40Weeks · 08/07/2011 20:01

Yep Mikey has been in his own room for ages, it's right next to our room and was fed up of not having any room in my bedroom because of his crib. Plus we all sleep better and I don't sleep with my eyes screwed shut thinking "Please don't cry, please stay asleep, please don't cry" etc

suzym1984 · 08/07/2011 20:10

H is in his own room and has been for ages, since he outgrew his basket. We use a breathing sensor alarm and just leave bedroom doors open so I can hear him.

reastie i cant see your pics?

H is in bed and has been since 7pm, sp lets hope for a better sleep tp prove ledkrs theory! He was unsettled fropm 5-6am today, but then slept til 9am!

Got a KIT day on Monday and Tuesday, booooooooooo!!!!!

Tarlia · 08/07/2011 20:29

Thanks ladies, I don't know what I'd do without you lovely lot.

ledkr Z not in own room, but poor deprived baby doesn't have one. We really need to move!

Urk, restie what a pain! Lots of lovely big salads. Mmm @ Cook. I've been thinking about your fab business idea, perhaps you could play on your background and go from a nutritional angle and make fun healthy food? Most classes make cakes, biscuits and pizza - perhaps you could make, ummm, hummus, bread and soup? Or themed classes, Mexican day, Italian day, Christmas etc etc

Sounds like everyone is making cakes at the moment - yum!

So sorry I can't remember anything from other page and as on iPhone I can't check. Hope you are all having a happy Friday though!

What's everyone decided about the MMR?? Was looking at the vac book this morning as need to book Z's 5 month jabs!

americanexpat · 08/07/2011 20:30

L is still in our room, in his cot, because he's still up half the night and I can't be arsed to walk to the next room 4 times a night. And we've still not sorted out the nursery yet [hblush], still full of boxes from the move.

He fussed from 4.30 this morning and was wide awake at 6. [hangry] I'm trying ledkr's strategy of a late nap so hoping he sleeps later tomorrow morning.

Sorry to hear there's a few suffering from PND/feeling down/etc. I think these months are challenging in a different way (ILs not withstanding) - I'm a bit bored, the drudgery of it all is setting in.

I've bought my first lottery ticket so I'll update tomorrow with what it feel like to be a millionaire. [hgrin]

40Weeks · 08/07/2011 20:37

Ooh American I love that feeling of 'it could be me' good luck

I think Owen, aka ds2, now has the pox :-( or should it be [hsad]

Good luck with kit days suzym I am sure it will b better than you thought, what do you do?

tarlia fwiw ds1&2 had the mmr, are you worried about it? You can pay to hav each jab on it's own but am not sure if it's as effective. Am sure ledkr will know more with her nursing background

40Weeks · 08/07/2011 20:39

And what are 5m jabs? M doesn't have any more til he is 1

wigglesrock · 08/07/2011 20:41

americanexpat The lottery let both debka and I down this week, and I had such great plans for us all Grin

Tarlia Anna's getting the MMR, the other two got it, although they have moved the age up from 15 months to 11 months-1 year.

Finally got the mini Wiggles to bed, well Sofia is pretending to sleep and I'm pretending I think she is Grin

janedoe25 · 08/07/2011 20:47

So bored! It's T in the park weekend and im Sad im not there! I missed last year as i was pg and we didn't get tickets for this year because we thought Zoe would be here and i didn't want to leave her for the weekend. I used to go every year made it to 10 in a row!

suzy good luck fro the KIT day.
Yay for sleepy mini wiggles!

debka · 08/07/2011 20:57

S has been in her own room since about 6 weeks. Before that she was behind the sofa in the lounge. The only time she has shared with me was when she was in my tummy. Grin

Bloody 5.30 bloody wake up this morning. AND she'd had a feed at 4am. Working on ledkr's Cunning Plan this evening, had a nap until 6pm Shock, went outside for 20 minutes before bath, then bed at 7.30.

reastie I'll do your food for you if you don't get anyone sorted Grin

Hope you all have good nights, sorry not to reply to everyone, too tired :(

40Weeks · 08/07/2011 21:00

Ooh boo Jane is df not back yet? Sorry you're bored, I hear hugs aren't very 'mumsnetty' - god knows - here have 2! X

wigglesrock · 08/07/2011 21:01

jane that's shite, can you put on some music, make dp dance around, neck some cider, stand in the rain and get the festival feeling, or is that just my experience of festivals Grin

Have uploaded some photos, including the one of Sofia, she's very proud of her missing tooth and who am I to take that away from her, I already make her life difficult apparently Shock

suzy hope you enjoy the KIT days, when are you back properly?

WeAreBorg · 08/07/2011 21:13

Jane you are very cool to even think of going to something like T in the Park, I never know when any of these things are on!

Tarlia Nate will be getting the MMR, I think the fella who raised the concerns about autism etc. has been discredited and hounded out of the country.

Ledkr thanks re sleep. The early wake up is such a pain, I can cope with him waking in the night if I can at least sleep in a bit. He's always bloody yawning then too, why wake up then!!!
Nate has been in own room for a couple of weeks since we went on hols and he couldn't fit in our room there. I thought I'd really miss him, but can still hear him snorting through the wall. I was worried about SIDs too, I think the peak age for that is 3 months though.

Suzy good luck, time flies eh, can't believe work is looming......

ponyo I saw desperate housewives last night, enjoy!

reastie and wiggles gorgeous girls on your photos, I like the 3 junior wiggles together and the one of alice on the massive sofa looking tiny!

wigglesrock · 08/07/2011 21:16

reastie kept meaning to say loving the new piccies, Alice is so cute.

reastie · 08/07/2011 21:36

jane :( to t in the park. I've never been to any festivals but I did see an ad for some kind of foody/music festival on jimmys farm which I quite fancied the idea of. My cooking guru Mary Berry is there Grin [saddo fan taking all her books for an autograph]

we don't get 5 month jabs either - nothing until 13 months

suzy have added you

alice still not asleep - knew it wouldn't last Confused

deb we can't afford you Hmm Sad

wiggles love the piccies. Sophia is so photogenic and anna looks so proud in her car walker

dh gone to bed on another argument between us - we are quite busy this week end but he wanted ILs over. I told him (not in a choose me or them way, in a factual way) that only time we could do it is tomorrow morning but if that was the case we wouldn't have time for any maritals this week end (we have to Shock schedule it in to alices timetable esp as we sleep in different rooms at the min and her rubbish evning behaviour Wink ). He chose the ILs and I felt a bit Shock Hmm about it but i think im being a tad unreasonable as im so tired

janedoe25 · 08/07/2011 21:37

wiggles thats just about it! Except for once there is no rain! DF still not home Angry Me thinks i will just jump on him when he comes in (this baby aint going to make itself!)

Grin at being called cool! Thanks borg you just made my day

Tarlia · 08/07/2011 21:37

Sorry to confuse, we are not in the UK at the mo, Z only gets 3 month, 5month, then MMR at 15 months. I'm not worried as such, just saw it and was thinking about it, so thought I'd ask what everyone's thoughts are.

Good luck with your kits Suzy. what do you do?

Fab photos wiggles.

I meant to say before, Z had his 5mnth check today and he is 70cm in length! She was laughing saying that they expect 1year olds to be between 72-78 cm! Ha! Just hope OH tells MIL as I can't be accused of feeding him tall - apparently home baby nurse said with length he is perfect weight and that was without me asking the question. Not the little dot he was when she met us 5 months ago :D

janedoe25 · 08/07/2011 21:40

reastie hugs. Not quite the type of festival i have in mind!

Girls i may need medical help, i think i have a lady crush on Miranda Blush

reastie · 08/07/2011 21:43

must be those scenes of her working out in the gym jane Wink

reastie · 08/07/2011 21:47

jane www.harvestatjimmys.com it's a proper festival with music and camping and everything as well as foodie things Grin . not that I'll go, but it's the closest to waanting to go to a festival iykwim [untrendy]

janedoe25 · 08/07/2011 21:50

Ohh its Jimmy from that food farm programme! Ohh, TBH im more interested in the Gruffalo live!

wigglesrock · 08/07/2011 21:52

jane I have a girl crush on Miranda too, and a not so innocent one on Tom Ellis. When imagining my mother think of Patricia Hodge, nowhere near as posh but with the same feckin' mad endearing eccentricities. My mum does that "its what I like to call ......". My mum also watches it and she thinks Patricia Hodge is hilarious, my sister and I are like mmmmm, really, it's a bit like laughing at yourself Grin

tarlia the girls always measure really long, especially Anna, funny I'm not particularly tall and Mr W is practically a Hobbit Grin

reastie we have to schedule "time to ourselves" as well, mainly due to Mr Ws work patterns.

janedoe25 · 08/07/2011 21:58

Still no idea who she is Blush
oh and wiggles hands off, Miranda is mine! She actually reminds me of the midwife who delivered Zoe.

reastie · 08/07/2011 22:06

jane I have no idea who the gruffalo are Blush . I thought it was a childrens book Hmm

wiggles is that as in mrs bucket bouquet? Grin

reastie · 08/07/2011 22:08

just googled and realised I got patricia hodge muddled with patricia routledge (I think) Blush . Note to self - must check these things before embarassing self pblush]
