tipex, or because X name is the baby you did have...& Y name is the one you didn't?? the name then sort of 'belongs' to the baby you didn't have. or is that too weird?

roosmum · 18/11/2005 22:12

oooh, also dying to know tipex's ds's name, shamelessly nosy!

starlover · 18/11/2005 22:13

roosmum i was gonna say that too! but thought it was probably just me! lol

OOh thanks Tipex - but you didn't need to do that, did wonder if you wanted to keep the anonymity but I am just tooo nosey !

not sure if we would use our boys name, if we had a boy. it was a bit of a compromise so I think I would push for a different one as dd's name was dh's choice in the end (although only decided on in the theatre once she'd been born !!). I would certainly consider the options...

roosmum · 18/11/2005 22:29

what would your ds have been then?

starlover · 18/11/2005 22:29

if we had had a girl she would have been Emilia

Hazellnut · 18/11/2005 22:35

Jacob William (the william would stay as my late FIL's middle name)

starlover · 18/11/2005 22:37

william is linus's middle name!

roosmum · 18/11/2005 22:37

dd would have been jemima.

splits opinion that one! i like daisy too

starlover · 18/11/2005 22:37

daisy was on my list!

OP posts:
Hazellnut · 18/11/2005 22:38

one of dd's little friends is a jemima - I love daisy but it didn't go with our surname.....

roosmum · 18/11/2005 22:38

beatrice? LOL at the house of elliott thread!

starlover · 18/11/2005 22:39

pmsl roosmum! yes... probably won't go for that one now!

OP posts:
roosmum · 18/11/2005 22:39

oooh, a jemima? what do youthink of it, honestly?
strangely & fiercely protective of that name, as of rufus

Hazellnut · 18/11/2005 22:43

I like it - honest ... my cousin's ds is a rufus too !!

roosmum · 18/11/2005 22:43

good! another name MIL hates, hehehe!

starlover · 18/11/2005 22:44

OMG this is where we find out that you 2 are actually related! lol

OP posts:
Hazellnut · 18/11/2005 22:45

We had decided on Maeve Elizabeth for a girl until we realised Maeve didn't go with our surname (took us about 2 weeks to realise !!)so we ditched both names and then were trying to think of other names and I ended up having to have her before we'd really decided but I love her name now - its who she is and she couldn't be anything else !!

roosmum · 18/11/2005 22:46

SL...

Hazellnut · 18/11/2005 22:46
