Hi all,
delia your weekend away sounds... interesting to say the least. Hypocracy indeed from BIL, what a prat. Your car journey sounds like an absoulute nightmare - well done for surviving it!
And now the estate agent on top of everything else, can only secong irish there and say money grabbing bastards, good luck.
deb your mum is definitely a brave lady, as are you, really hope she isn't suffering horrible side effects etc for too long. Thats a good stock reply she has to the "how are you" question - you could pinch that jane? I do think 'don't ask if you don't want to hear the answer' but that might be a bit harsh.
reastie don't know if I vac'd by the door but today I did use the hairdryer to dry my hair for ages with dd on the floor next to me as she was crying and it chilled her out
Usually I just tie my hair up and let it dry itself! Got dp a card with dd's piccy on and a book for fathers day.
american hope you're ok, that crying sounds difficult to deal with :( Think we might have the same swing is it green with a lion cushion?!
suzy my swaddling buddy I am still swaddling, fear not! She managed to wiggle her arm out the other night though little bugger
Well done with baby whisperer, I've read it once but need to have another go as think I was too tired for it to go in haha.
Here is my ridiculously exciting news for this evening ladies.... da da daaa... dd is currently asleep (and swaddled
) in her COT in her OWN ROOM!! Eek. Just decided to go for it, she went to sleep as normal (bit of fussing then settled) so heres hoping she's ok.
Just dreading having to get up and go the whole 10 or so footsteps to her room at 5am to put the dummy in as I usually do, and then back and forth ten times probably. Thanks especially to 40weeks and four4 for reassuring words re: cot earlier.
Hi to anyone I've missed :)
