July 2010: C'mon threadbabes: eat like MLIC's; drink like TSC's; smile like Memphis's; laugh like Cakes's; crawl like nearly all of them (except Cake's)... but mainly: sleep like Spireals

memphis lol, it's going to take a while for my waistline to recover! I'm fine, i've just been so busy recently, and don't have access to a computer, so it's a massive faff to mumsnet on the mobile. Also, I just turned 25, so have indulged in a small pre-midlife crisis.

9 words? Sad

I'm not pg and no plans to be. I'm getting less and less broody as G gets older. It wouldn't be the end of the world if it happened accidentally but I'm getting too old to have another planned one I think (hobbles off on zimmer frame in old lady styleee)

WhatSheSaid · 10/05/2011 21:17

25, needle? 25? You're an embryo (40-in-6-weeks)

That would piss me right off mlic.

Chulita · 10/05/2011 21:35

Ack, mlic x-posted Sad that's horrible. When DH is a moody git with me I pester him til he tells me why cos I can't stand having bad 'air' between us but then I know I can pester charm it out of him. Sorry he's been short with you, I hope he makes it up to you.

Oh I fucked up my time differences Smile, well actually I thought it was Tuesday here but I've just realised it's must be Wednesday if it's Tuesday in the UK.

hi all

mlic sorry your having a shitty time with dh, hope you both get sorted.

lol'd at tsc's knocked up and getting mojo back. I am neither.

Welcome back melissa and needle, happy 25th for the other day. You are a pup needles Smile

I have read through but I havent remembered much to be honest. My bloody blackberry is away getting fixed. I have finally managed to prize the laptop from dp's hands to mumsnet. We have the hv tomorrow morning so going to get her to give R the once over but last night she slept really well. Two dummy runs and a bottle at 5.30 am so far better than it has been. Fingers crossed for tonight.

Hope your all well, will catch up properly when I get back in tomorrow

CakeandRoses · 11/05/2011 00:18

ouch mlic that sounds awful and totally unwarranted. is it like him to sulk like that?

that dh of yours doesn't know how lucky he is Sad. i keep asking if you'll run away and be my wife and look after me as well as you do him Grin

tsc i'm blatantly getting my non-sex mojo back - liquid eyeliner and hair-straighteners were employed in this neck of the woods today Shock and i'm not even usually a straighteners kinda gal. Oh and there are NO woods down below either Grin

i liked your radio 4 and soduku thing about mlic. what do you imagine goes on in this household in the evening?

Naps:

How many a day?
Usually just one now unless she falls asleep in the car which is rare as we're not often in it. We're always out walking in the afternoons and she's too interested in everything to fall asleep in the buggy these days.

Times?
At least 2 hours between 11am and 1am. It's been creeping up to 2.5 hours since she's not been getting the afternoon one.

Location?
Always in cot, in glorified pillow case and sleeping bag if cold

How long does it take to get him/her down?
She closes her eyes and tries to go to sleep the second i give her the dummy. sometimes she cries once a minute later and once i've give her the dummy again, she'll go straight to sleep. F has always been such a mare with naps that i still can't quite believe how willing she is. I'm dreading what she'll be like sans dummy.

Naps: 2 a day

Times, usually about 9am and 1pm. Normally the 9am one is about 45 mns and the 1pm one is up to an hour and a half.

Location, usually cot with sleeping bag. Sometimes the pm one is in the car if she's fallen asleep on the way back from dropping A at pre-school

How long to go down? Normally just a minute or two, has a bit of a shout but settles down pretty soon
