Meant to say congrats to mrcake, hope you have a good time celebrating!

S has been so whingy, I ended up taking them both out for a run just to get outside. I've got tonsilitis for the second time in 3 weeks, not really badly but swollen up/really sore throat and earache...lovely stuff and it made running really fun as you can imagine.

stac I hope R isn't coming down with anything! poor you!

Thanks memphis :)

We've had lunch in the garden but D is being such a pain, hes so moany. I think it might be his teeth.

memphis83 · 22/04/2011 20:16

ooh quiet day on here
mlic crap about the dog, is his recent naughtyness out of character or has he always had a naughty streak? the puppy is great when its just us but when visitors come he is a nightmare!
L went to sleep no bother tonight, we went on a bike ride but think it was too hot for him as he cried to we pulled in at next car park and dh got the van while we played on the grass! then came home and played in the garden but he wants to go on all the places hes shouldnt, he was trying to get into the shed and on the drive and in the bins everywhere but his playmats and gazebo!!!

mlic how's W now? That's really irritating about your dog. We looked after a dog for a while that never came when I called. He'd run up and attack other dogs too, a right nightmare. That was one dog I was happy to see the back of!

memphis I just let S roam cos he doesn't stay where I'd like him. His favourite spot at the moment is splashing in L's sand/water pit. I'd love to take our two on a bike ride but I need a seat for L cos S will have her old one so I need to find one to go on the back for her.

cake have a lovely time and remember that you don't need to pack as much as you think Wink

Chulita · 22/04/2011 21:45

I've also made chocolate brioche that's proving in the fridge overnight. I hope they turn out all right cos they smell lovely but I'm worried they won't rise right...we shall see!

kkfairybrains · 22/04/2011 22:59

this child will not sleep Angry. she went down at 8 and has been up 3 times already and is still up now. she's so tired all the time as she's not getting enough sleep and then she's so over tired that she can't sleep. viscious circle. she's been very cranky the last 3 days too so it must be teeth or something. and she has her cough back. there's always bloody something. everything seems to be going backwards. i can't leave her to cry as i just can't do it but it's just getting worse.

CakeandRoses · 23/04/2011 00:13

keep repeating "it's just a phase, this too shall pass" kk Smile It will. hope tonight is better.

i spent the day with 3 toddlers (inc F) who i've known from babyhood and it made me realise how fast the baby period flies by Sad It feels so recent that they were like A and now they're back-chatting and getting up from their potties to walk around with pooey bums Hmm

I'm determined to enjoy what's left of this gorgeous baby stage, sleepless nights, bitten nipples, messy weaning and all.

not a good night but i only got up the once as dh did it, he then took L to the park at 7.30 so i could lie in!! i got up to a grumpy baby, gave him his breakfast then passed him a bottle and hes now been asleep for an hour so hopefully be in a better mood when he wakes, we are doing family visits today oh joy! its things like mass family visits that make me think living in oz would be a good idea!
oooh and ive lost 3 pounds i 11 days without biscuits!!!

CherryPie3 · 23/04/2011 09:12

Hey all, had a lively say in Blackpool yesterday - was very hot!! As it is today also.

Cake - I absolutely while-heartedly agree with you that babyhood flies by so very fast, I'm with you on enjoying what's left of it for out lo's.

DH - Enjoy your birthday lunch and the weather :)

My lucky husband is off the races today, Nottingham I think, on a stag do. Think I'll take the kiddies to the park today for a picnic, sod the laundry today - I'll do it tomorrow! Weathers too nice to not do something lovely with my babies :)

X

Morning from sunny Wiltshire. Off out for a long walk and picnic today, am trying out my new sling. Fed the boy when he woke at 3am last night, it makes for such an easier night if I just feed him rather than battling! Then he woke at 6ish, dozed for a while on me, then at 7.30 my MIL took him and DH and I had a nice lie in and a cuddle. mmm.
