Things have fallen apart a bit in the last day or two. M's eyes relapsed and yesterday I got the dreaded call from nursery that they suspected conjunctivitis.

Fortunately my normally useless doctors surgery managed to pull a magical appointment out of their ass somewhere and M got seen straight away, given a prescription for eyedrops, at which point nursery were happy to have her back. She only needed to be out for an hour - success!

Less successful today when I turned up at 5pm to be told in hushed tones that there had been an incident, which turned out to be that one of the older babies had bitten M!

She now has some rather fetching nibble bruises on her left hand, which don't seem to bother her in the slightest. In fact she was exceptionally cheerful this evening. Strange child...

Hope everyone elses day is going a bit smoother than mine.

At least it's the Easter weekend! Four days off work and hopefully some sunshine. [bugrin] And DH has just agreed that we can let my parents babysit for a weekend in June, so that he and I can go on a romantic spa weekend break, woo!

Ive had a lovely day, lots of great presents inc spa vouchers for me and my friend and £50 river island vouchers. Clothes and sunglasses bought today from DP. Hes also bought me 2 Disney dvds as he knows I love them (Im a big kid)
We're seeing DPs mum tomo and his dad on Sat so will be getting something else from them (too excited!)

I do like being 21 [bugrin]

V convenient to start a new thread just before I go away, won't have to search for it when I get back. Off in about 3 hours, just to a little village by the sea, gotta go finish packing. No internet connection where we will be so happy Easter everyone.

Have a lovely time wss am very jealous, I'd love to get away for a bit!

I really dont know why im sat here on mn when i have a whole week of packing to do! D now has some ace new clothes, i popped to the shops from where i had to work today. Unbeknowings (?) to me DH went into town today and also brought D some new clothes so he now has loads!! DH also brought me a lovely top and cardi, how sweet of him, i didnt buy him anything, ooops!
Regarding what babies are sleeping in i ony have a 2.5 tog bag, i have been putting him in that with a long sleeved no leg body but he felt really hot last night so tonight hes just in a sleep suite.........i hope hes warm enough, its really really warm in his room.
How mean of u all to winde poor cake up like that, at least she sorted us out with a new thread, thank you cake

Have you tried alcohol gel tsc? that's all I've got. I did chuckle but not so funny if it doesn't come off easily. Ooh yes, or try rubbing olive oil into it, it fades after a day or so - we used to draw on ourselves in permanent marker and go in the sun, when it washed off we'd have reverse tans of whatever we'd drawn [kool kid emoticon]

viks that's really sweet of your dh! mine never buys clothes for anyone. It's definitely too warm for a 2.5 at the mo. He should be fine with a vest/sleep suit, I put S in a grobag cos I'm paranoid but I don't reckon he needs it!

Why am i still sat here..........Rahhhhhh, im never gona get packed. We have one of those samsonite pop up travel cots, i really hope he will be ok in it, if he isnt we are screwed cos we dont have anything else!!

Right packing done and I've had some sleep. Now up with L but hoping he for a down again soon. He's hardly eaten again all day. Guessing its the heat. He's still a pretty happy boy so must be getting want he needs, just not great when I want him to sleep through.

mlic we've not got anything planned for this weekend either, got a friend and her fiance coming so I won't be on mn once they get here. They'll be staying the weekend and I've got to go flowergirl dress shopping for her wedding in June [bored already emoticon] (for the shopping btw, not the wedding!)

stac we just got the surveyor's report back and are now trying to decide how much to knock off our offer, there's a lot that needs doing. It was built pre 1900 so I reckon it's pretty sturdy just needs repair cos the old lady that owned it didn't do very much to upkeep it in her later years. We also have a query about the garden since the survey map shows the garden to be different to what we though and if we end up losing a third of the garden we won't be happy...

S is stuck under the chair again, he's absolutely obsessed with wires and small spaces.

vik I didnt get a card specifically from D (although DP did when it was his birthday) but thats what happens when men are left to it. He did put D's name in the card he bought though.

We're having a lazy day today, DPs mum is coming over (we've got to seriously tidy up) then we're going food shopping.

My dd has been replaced with a devil child. She doesn't want to sleep in her own bed and even in ours was awake loads so totally shattered today. She is going to stay at sil's tonight so night off. Just hope she's good. Supposed to bea scorcher today so we're hijacking my aunts garden.

Hope its not chulita I know the garden is onne of the things that attracted you to it. R also loves cables luckily we don't have a fire just radiators.
