lumpy good question. The others were:
8lb8oz 4 days late
8lb5oz 1 day early
7lb15oz 4 days early
I think she could/should of been at least 7lb7oz. The thing with diabetes is you should get larger babies so they were baffled when she was so small and not putting on weight, especially as my placenta was still healthy. Oh and for the first 6-8 weeks she was putting on half a pound a week, I think hat was an attempt to get upto weight

saoirse86 · 24/03/2011 17:27

Hi vimto ! Smile

I'll do my statistics:
Orlaith, born on 24th September (which was her due date) 6 months today! weighing 6lb 12oz.
She's gained loads of weight and is now about 18lb I think but haven't had her weighed for ages.
She rolls constantly, to the point where I often end up putting her nappy on while she's on her front! Hmm But can't really sit. She doesn't seem to like being still so maybe she'll bypass sitting and go straight for crawling.
She wants to play non-stop.
She wakes twice in the night usually (watch it be 5 times tonight because I said that!)

saoirse86 · 24/03/2011 18:16

I meant 6lb 14oz Blush

beaditAli · 24/03/2011 18:17

Yeay chelle's Olly! Jelly! Scrumalumlum!
I'm not being anywhere near as adventurous with food yet Blush
Need to get my cooking head on! I did try last night and attempted feeding Jack my homemade sweet potato, apple and blueberry delight but when I looked at it today it was all jellyish and gross looking Blush
Did a mad dash to Sainsburys for some Ella's kitchen stuff but really I think it just needed water adding Blush Blush am soooooooo crap at cooking it's unreal!

Anyone had experience of the squits coinciding with teeth appearing?? Can't fathom why The J Dowg is so runny down that end the last couple of days.......??? Did give him a prune thingy??? Not much tho Blush

Do you think we scared vimto off? Blush Grin

cinnamongreyhound · 24/03/2011 20:04

Luke was pooing 6-10 times a day for a few days last week beaditAli and got a really sore bottom because of it. I didn't stop giving him anything that he'd just started that week and it cleared up. Could have been he just got used to whatever new food had bothered him or he could have had a tummy bug and I suppose it coul have been teething but it only lasted a few days and he's back to normal now.

Us frightening mapletrees?!? Never!!!

What another beautiful day Grin

I have to say I also wondered if we've scared her off!

I've had a lovely day. I've lived where I live for 10 years and now finally feel at home! I've got some wonderful friends, the perfect house & everything I've ever wanted. Grin Grin Grin

watersprite · 24/03/2011 21:03

Hi :)

Well Maria-Ann was back to her usual self last night waking every other hr :( it was quite warm last night so maybe that's why (I'm hopeing) ended up putting her in our bed but that didn't really make a differance anyway tonight is another night so see how she goes!

Really hot today and wanted to go for another nice walk but i was so tired ended up going back to bed till 12.00 Hmm hate going back to bed when it's nice weather feel like I've missed out! but really needed to catch up incase she is up tonight (hope not) I'm really hopeing she gets into some sort of routine soon as I start back Uni in May, and I know I will be dead on my feet with the long shifts if i'm not getting enough sleep!

beaditAli · 24/03/2011 21:09

Ohhhhh.... cinnamon was it like really awful bubbly trumpy stuff sorry if tmi Blush it stinks of vinegar and has been two days in a row and three times each day. Really can't think what he's eaten differently and wonder if it could be teeth related?? Am at a total loss! He's otherwise well and fine after a good release Blush..........??
Hopefully will pass soon

cinnamongreyhound · 24/03/2011 21:21

Yes it was horribly slimey and smelt bad, was something every time he trumped (sorry everyone else for tmi!). He was totally happy in himself in every other way which is I didn't think it could be a bug but it did pass after a few days, though I did worry about it!

Where's the like button lumpybananapuree?

MammyG · 24/03/2011 23:36

Oh God! I was a walking zombie today! Have had one night of 6 hours sleep in the past week and a bit. Last night friends called over to couple of glasses later went up to bed at 1am. DS1 fell out of bed at 5.15 then DS2 couldnt get back to sleep with the commotion so had to lie in with him for a wee spell and when I got back to our room Phoebe was bright eyed and bushy tailed wondering where her bottle was! Am knackered and need more than 4 hours in a row!
Pheobe also treated me to an all up her back poo! Full and solid too. I had to bath her as when I was changing her she stuck her foot in it and wriggled when I was taking her vest off so even her hair got some!! I think she just loves her bath and is pulling a fast one!

newmum001 · 25/03/2011 07:20

beadit grace has been the same the last week, she's been pooing every day since starting solids but she's had up to 4 a day over the last week (deffinately teeth related as she's got 3 cutting at the top) and they are awful!! Really runny and smelly!

beaditAli · 25/03/2011 08:34

Thanks newmum Jack is definitely still squitsy Sad
Poor lil man. Is totally fine otherwise but it does upset him a bit before he explodes. They absolutely hum and he's yanking away like mad in his mouth but has been for about the last month.... still no teeth!

Hope it clears up soon...... can't stay on top of the washing!

Two new babies born yesterday! My cousin had a boy: Fraser John and my friend's sister had her second girl: Lucinda March... to be Lulu for short. A gorgeous sunny start to life for them this week Grin
Think it's actually making me feel broody Shock

saoirse86 · 25/03/2011 11:05

Another beauuuuuuuuuutiful day here! I hope everyone else is having the same. Smile

MammyG The other day we had a GP appointment and I could smell she'd done a poo so I was trying to change her. The room with the changing mats was being used so the receptionist let me into a doctor's room to use the bed to change her. Then about 3 seconds later she comes in to say the doctor's ready for us so we could change her afterwards. We go in and after a few questions he asked me to take her clothes off to check her over. I take her cardi off to find there is poo everywhere ! I asked if I could just go out and change her while he saw the next patient. We go and change her, but DP kept saying she still smells of poo and there must be poo somewhere still. The doctor obviously decided not to see the next person because as we walked back to his room everyone was giving me death stares for obviously just messing about to wind them up Hmm . Then in the doctor's room I realised that DP had been right and there was poo on her head! Shock He must have thought I was an awful mum, it had been 3 weeks of her being ill before I'd taken her to the doctor's, I clearly can't tell when she needs to be changed, and when I do change her I leave poo on her head. Blush

watersprite I've technically started back at university too. It's the open university so I don't have to go anywhere for it but I'm finding it so hard. Orlaith's going to sleep at about 10, waking at 2 and 6 for feeds, then waking properly at about 7-7.30. She only naps for about half an hour 3 times a day so I'm finding it impossible to find the time to do any work. I've got 2 assignments due in in the next 3 weeks and 2 exams in 6 weeks which I've done nothing for since I deferred the exams in september. It's really hard work isn't it!

lumpybananapuree · 25/03/2011 13:22

Afternoon all! Can't stop. Just keep forgetting to ask cinnamon have you heard anything from sassy lately?? She's not been on since she posted her news! I hope everythings ok!

watersprite · 25/03/2011 14:06

Hi :) another beautiful day here too Saoirse86 Know what you mean with trying to catch up with assignments and exams, luckly I did my last 2 assignments whilst pregnant last year so I just have to make sure my personal, development, plan (P.D.P) is up to date and brush up on drug calculations. I have 2 weeks back in Uni (May) then I have a 13 week placement to complete and then i will be a qualified adult nurse Grin Good luck with the assignments and exams Wink

Maria-Ann slept from 9.15pm till 6.45am last night Grin hopeing that she will soon get into a routine as i'm keeping to the same routine every night! I didn't really sleep much as i was convinced she would wake up Hmm (silly mummy) also our dd1 came into our room last night at 12.25 shouting" can you help me" "can you help me" my responce " what with" her responce "can you help me" then it suddenly clicked she's sleep walking again Shock so I just took her by the hand and put her back to bed. Mentioned it this morning and she was clueless!

mapletrees · 25/03/2011 19:23

That's funny banana, I was just thinking about sassy last night... Can you text her cinnamon, and say hi from us?

Louis had his first taste of meat today - his daddy made him spag sauce, and he loved it.. My baby's no longer a vegetarian Sad Wink Grin

cinnamongreyhound · 25/03/2011 20:12

I have done mapletrees after I saw lumpybananapurees message but no answer so far.

Had a manic day today, forgot I had a meeting for preschool committee and ended up there until 11.15 and ds1 has to be at school at 12.20 so I got a friend of mine with a car to bring me a tenner and I bought lunch from the bakers. Was lovely to eat in the park and Luke was very smiley watching the world go by! Had paper work that the chair wanted me to return to her at the end of school at 3 and Ofsted wanted my response to my report back within 24hrs!! Didn't get any of my household jobs done while the kids were sleeping :(

Glad it's the weekend hope everyone is doing something nice :)

lumpybananapuree · 25/03/2011 20:45

Crikey watersprite being a student nurse at 18 with no responsibilities was bloody hard. How do you do it as a mum! Hats off to you!!!!! What area do you want to work in?

Whats everyone else studying?? I'm hoping to do something when I go back but just feel bad working 3 days & taking 1 out to do a course!

mellymooks · 26/03/2011 08:20

Coooo-eeeeeeeeee!!!! Hello lovely ones, it's been ages since I've had a chance to post but have been lurking last couple of days trying to catch up on about the last 3 weeks. We've been plagued with yet more illness here and currently DD and I have random raging temperatures for no apparent reason Sad
Also been off visiting my MIL who is the loveliest lady ever and spoils us rotten Grin

Think vimto has run away but I've been enjoying the recaps so will add mine too

Flynn Jago born 22/9 8lb7.5oz
Exclusively BF so far, not showing much interest in food yet.
Co-sleeping still, but wish he would sleep more, still waking every 2-3 hrs through the night.
He's sitting up and desperate to work out crawling but hasn't managed it yet.
No teeth yet.
Has just started to wave!!

Been loving this gorgeous weather and was gutted yesterday that DD and I felt so rubbish that we literally laid on the sofa half dosing and going between being boiling and shivering all day Sad

watersprite · 26/03/2011 18:38

Hi :)

lumpybananapuree Thanks Wink it's hard trying to manage everything sometimes but my O/H is very supportive :) I'm thinking surgical but I do like one ward in particular which is complex care and would love to get a job on there, would except any job nursing as there isn't that many out there.
From your post couldn't gather if you are a nurse or still studying? lack of sleep has that effect on me Hmm

Mellymooks Sorry to hear that DD and yourself aren't feeling so great, hoping you both feel better soon :)

Maria-Ann seems to be sleeping one day and then the next not Sad so I dont know what I'm doing wrong, I stick to the same routine every night. She will sleep 8 and a half hrs one day then the nxt she is up every other hr and it's been like this for the past 4 days! I'm so tired today sorry for the moan Blush

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend Wink

lumpybananapuree · 26/03/2011 19:46

Watersprite I've been qualified 10 years in sept Shock spent the 1st 6 years working in a rehab unit for head injuries & neuro illnesses with a brief 6 weeks on ICU (didn't get on there so went back!) The last 4 years I've been on the community but by the time I go back will have had 21 months mat leave over those 4 years! Don't think they thought that'd happen when they employed me! Oops! I love it though. There's a lot of crap in nursing but I think its a great job.

Had a busy day here. local school easter fete then to a friends for the afternoon & the pub for tea. I know we're always going over routines but how much do your los sleep in the day? Ollys Ideal pattern would be

6am awake
8am 20mins
11am 20mins
2pm 1hr 30mins-2hrs
6.30pm bed

How does that compare??

Olly (i've absolutely completely lost track of weeks! 7 months on thurs!)
